Could you describe how tankoins replace promo codes? They have quite different purposes.

Promo codes are not for buying but for receiving items from the Shop :)

Hey! Players are usually required to earn 2000 stars to get last stage prizes in challenges. If a player gets 3 stars from each battle, the player needs approximately 667 battles to be played. If a player makes 12 kills per each battle, the player will make 8004 kills after 667 battles played. I hope that this example shows that 7k kills are not so much

How much time does it take for you to complete daily missions? For me it is approximately 15-25 minutes on both main account and my alt (WO-4). The cheapest item in the Shop is 1 gold box at the moment. It costs 100 tankoins. 1 container or 3000 crystals cost 50 tankoine more, 150 tankoins. There is no information about future items and their prices. 600 tankoins per a week, 2400 per a month. Let's imagine such situation. This amount of tankoins will let you buy 16 containers or 27 golds or 1-2 paints or any product kit each month. Let's say that it takes 30 minutes per a day for you. 3,5 hours per a week, 14 hours per a month. As well, you receive crystals and challenge prizes during these 14 hours. Such situation will lead to an economy fall. Less time will be needed to get items and players will lose interest soon. What is the most important is that weekly containers is just one way of getting tankioins and more ways are coming soon Hey I didn't understand what you mean by "promocodes are no longer suitable". The purpose of promo codes is to make it easier to giveaway items to players as well as for campaigns with partners, like Canyon or Nokia.

But before that you even hadn't an opportunity for this. As devs said in V-LOG, there will be more ways to get tankoins such as events, contest, challenges, etc.

Guys, do not forget that previously we didn't have this way of getting Shop items at all. Before this update, a player had to take part in contests, events, eSports tournaments, challenges and other activities or open containers to get any items from the Shop. And as for now, a player can get tankoins from containers and use them to buy items from the Shop. Once again, before the update a player completed weekly missions and received 0 tankoins, and now the player does same things and receives 3 tankoins from each weekly container. It is very strange to be disappointed because of getting additional prizes as well as to expect much higher number of tankoins from a weekly container.
