    GOODBYE

Isn't it amazing how many words have been borrowed from common English into common Troll?! I can swear I understand what has been said!

Enough for me, thank you skitee. I think I better sign off and be a nice person now. Probably one of our subs agrees to pick me up from the Nighthawk's at last

Is it same as senior school then? If one is interested in becoming a friend of yours, then is is possible at all? If it is possible, what might be a good starting point? Fair enough then. I do not want to discourage you from gaining this valuable experience for your future career path, but what would you say if I submit to you that on the part of the administration of the project you are being taken advantage of quite shamelessly? Are you implying that the Japanese or Vietnamese are naturally more comfortable with English, rather than Chinese? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_language Classical Chinese was once the lingua franca in neighbouring East Asian countries such as Japan, Korea and Vietnam for centuries, before the rise of European influences in the 19th century. Japanese is a lot closer to Chinese, than to any European language. Still, you are right about Australia and New Zealand of course... How is a troll different from an anonymous? I am ready to accept that no every anonymous is necessarily a troll, but not concealing one's true identity probably defies the very idea of trolling. An open troll quickly gets ignored, which prevents him from disrupting the community and hijacking attention any further  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_%28disambiguation%29 Troll (Internet), an internet term for a person who, through willful action, attempts to disrupt a community or garner attention and controversy through provocative messages

Are you telling me there's not a single college in the whole Britain? http://www.collegesinbritain.co.uk/region_selectlist.cfm?regionID=2 What were you expecting from this thread when creating it "In a hope of getting slightly more edifying fun topics"? Just mere fun, nothing edifying whatsoever? What does it take to deserve your friendship? Do you have any publications outside this project? Are they available online? Where can one read them? Are you seriously calling a job this exchange of this very real time of your life for the ephemeral permission from Perm to have better weapons in a totally and completely virtual world? Have you been paid at least one real world peanut for all the effort you've spent? Where is this most people in the world then? Do you expect generations of people wasting all their lives in the middle of Siberia, China or Africa to be capable of expressing themselves in English nevertheless? Isn't it correct that all the Russia, Europe, Middle East and the Americas are sharing one and the same cluster at http://tankionline.com/ while the Far East has got its own personalised cluster http://3dtank.com/ with not more than a single word in the language? And if the Administration and Developers in Perm are capable of expressing themselves in English, why are they so persistent in shying away from all the videos and inactive in the community forum too? Are they just as shy with the Russian community media? How about "Underhand, unfair and damned un-English" for one? There's more at http://www.lurkmore.com/wiki/Anonymous Makes one particularly proud of oneself right? :tank:

What is your dream college? What would you like to see youself when you reach your midlife crisis age? When starting this thread did you expect more personal questions, more questions about the game mechanics, about the community as a whole or the newspaper in particular? Do you expect the community to have more interest in you, rather than the other contributors to the project, or are you just the fist one to have come up with this Q&A idea? What do you mean by friendship in the context of an online game project? Just somebody for making a quick win, or just a project for establishing long term relations? As a member of staff are you kept better informed with the project plans, or do you find out all the news no faster than the rest of the game community? Are the Russian and the English newspapers coordinated by one and the same editor(s) in chief, or are these two completely independent groups? Are you writing here just for the sake of fun with your friends, or for other reasons, purposes and goals? Do you think your publications are making the difference? What difference are they making and to whom? Why all the vlog issues for the English speaking community always feature just Bruce, only Bruce and nobody but Bruce? Does anybody else write material for the videos? Would it be correct to assume that nobody among the developers speaks any English at all? Not even Maksim-Khusainov, the author of http://en.tankiforum...howtopic=168010 Are they just sitting there waiting to learn all the new tricks of the trade until the latest manual updates are translated into Russian [by e. g. the Marketing Department]? What is your attitude towards http://3dtank.com/ is it the bright future or the dead end of the project? Do you prefer answering simple questions, difficult questions or pointless questions and why? Have you started this thread to learn more about yourself, the game, or the community? What was your online gaming experience before you joined in this project? Which other online gaming projects are you taking active part in? For how long?

Are porcupines any good for bread? I happen to know a flying porcupine AKA Fliegendes Stachelschwein http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short_Sunderland wondering now if bread is the reason there're so few left flying nowadays?

On average how much of the material do you rewrite before it is finally ready for publishing 20%? 50%? 80%? Are your better articles the ones you rewrite more than the average? If you keep improving the article beyond some optimum ratio does its quality remain unchanged, or does the material lose its integrity and starts falling apart? Also, what prompted your joining in back in 2010? What was the game like back then? What keeps you in this very game still (as opposed to other simulators)? What is your motivation for remaining the moderator? Have you ever teamed up with MadDog21? Looks like he grew disillusioned over time, while you did not? :tank:

Hello there, how do you write your articles? Are you relying on moments of inspiration, or do you keep composing them piece by piece methodically? How many times do you reread/rewrite an article before it is ready for publishing? Are you writing them alone or is it a joint effort? How do you proofread them? :tank:

Why don't you just join the Duel Club instead? They certainly will have with you as many issues as you want :) http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=119963&hl=%2Bduel+%2Bclub
  14. A valuable opinion indeed. Can't say I agree with it 100%, still it helps to stir some personal thinking, rather than just a blanket acceptance [with a taste of indifference]. A pity that we still do not have any table to compare whether over long ranges Thunder gets weaker than Smoky. Also, over the past months I see more and more Smoky players. Probably time to start reviewing the article? :tank:
  15. 65536g

    Tightening of Moderation Standards

I quite agree: if you want the punishments work, then they must be prompt and public. Right now the process is too vague and slow. Even the voting mechanism itself requires further improvement: putting down the name of the offender does not automatically clarify whether he is using any software hacks, violating the playing rules (e. g. an obstacle to his own team) or just using profane language (and which one: English, Russian, German or some other?). In my opinion the only viable option is for each player to choose whom he wants to block... prompting another interesting question: I do not remember my complete block list by heart, still in future games I'd rather avoid teaming up with players I blocked at some point in time earlier... so we just keep waiting these improvements promised years ago... and waiting... and waiting... ad infinitum? :tank:
  16. 65536g

    Tightening of Moderation Standards

Hi there Red, It's the mindset of the population I think. Wouldn't you agree that all the rivers of US dollars recently flown into another large country, China, have not changed overnight its population into any proper citizens of the developed world? :-) A moderator is just a part of the culture. The stricter the better. Without the feeling of being supervised by a watchful eye the people lose the feeling of their own worth, become disillusioned, without motivation for anything... Cheers :tank:

    a question

Highly unlikely mate. Not because of purely technical difficulties, just because there've been too many accounts stolen in the past. I do not expect the administration to look into matters like this one anymore... unless you're a really close buddy of somebody ranking high in Alternativa of course...
  18. 65536g

    Tightening of Moderation Standards

Well... now one will have to be creative to pass on the message still. A motivation of a kind... :-)
  19. 65536g

    Petition

Well... there is such a thing as test servers. There you can try all the guns, chassis, paints or even stockpile drugs to 1 million of each. What you cannot is transfer anything you get on the test server to the main game server. Probably all we need is e. g. 1 month pass to the test servers, as right now these servers are not open to public all the time...

    The best Reward

The best reward? Tanki 2.0 discontinued! :D Also there was a time when Camp was a popular map... can be considered a reward looking back now...
  21. 65536g

    give isada more range

If Isida is given a bigger range, then to keep the balance of the game Freeze will have an even bigger range still. Then to keep on par with Freeze Twins and Firebird must be rebalanced too. So with this domino effect you end up with Rico being able to reach any corner of any map as soon as it positions itself the middle. What's left for Smoky, Thunder, Railgun and Shaft then? Double the map sizes and the chassis speeds? Inflation full circle, nobody gains anything new in the end?
  22. 65536g

    Hulls increased in speed!

Hi, well yes, it's correct that the numbers have been increased. Still, at least as far as my subjective opinion is concerned, the speed feels very different from what it reads. Before the rebalance Viking M3 with its 6.4 felt fast, now its 6.5 feels slow. I'd say that now Hunter M3 at 7.8 feels more like what Viking M3 was at 6.4. So in my eyes this increase in numbers is nothing more than a mere inflation. :tank:

    January 28! Release 121!

Agreed. Actually I'm surprised that the developers are showing up so infrequently in the English news bulletins and are so poorly versed in the language. All the latest first hand technical documentation is in English, unless one really wants to screw up waiting until some boring humanitarian bothers to publish what he thinks was written in the specs. Even in India they know better than that! :-) :tank:
  25. Wouldn't it look a trifle on a cheap side? :)
