I totally agree: even for the older guys it's fundamentally insane to pour money like water into the game which any minute can block your account forever as a cheater with no fair trial or refund whatsoever.

Isn't Mysleslov an insider by any chance? With the insider information he could've been saving his best improvement idea for just these days. Also, are we entaitled to know what this idea actually was [as compared to the ideas posted by the outsiders]?

Overall, I find the recent changes to the benefit of the gaming community, rather than to its detriment. The rank limits did make the gameplay more competitive and much fewer games are available to me now, but it's a fair price for the benefits the changes brought. I wouldn't want to return to the way it used to be with this constant fear of mults or one day to live cheater accounts to fix the game balance. I also have no respect for the gold box hunters basically betraying the community spirit for their personal gains. Good riddance. As for the 999 flags and/or 999 minutes games, these obviously were shrewd traps for rookies. I hope that now they will enjoy the game much better and earn more crystals for themselves. :tank:

Too much talking in the chat as well as in the news about people having more than one account. I think by now it's safe to divide the current number of accounts by 2 :-)

I think Shaft can be allowed more flexibility in sniper mode at the expense of taking away the arcade mode completely: extreme power, but only across a very limited sector of view; so that at close ranges moving enemies do not fear the "blind" arcade shots at all and stand a very good chance of keeping out of sight even if Shaft is standing in the 90 degree corner. I think it's only Rico just because this is the least popular weapon: this definitely is not a hit'n'run weapon, at close quarters Freeze can do more damage to multiple targets, while beyond 50 m Rico rounds are rather a decorative element :D

Oh get a life Bruce, unless the winning game videorecording(s) are made public I see too many potential loopholes for twisting and bending the rules around. Even the perfectly legal client in the hands of a totally obedient to the rules player sometimes doesn't show some other players: unless the browser page is reloaded they are shown grayed out in the list, do not appear on the screen at all, but they can see and kill you perfectly without making a sound... So if by virtue of statistics a single player is not visible to anybody of the opposing team and nobody in this team notices it... Every Tanki Online rule is obeyed, isn't it!? :wink: The balance is just a number, to a smart person with loads of free time on hands just a cakewalk to imitate without raising any suspicions as compared to staging a full video recording. Sounds like security through obscurity to me :shock: credibility of that approach doesn't really scale well in the long run... the others will definitely think what I'm saying here. It's just that unlike them I do not feel the need to show off any more :D Still, if you go for it anyway, I'd expect everyone to see in the aftermath that the competition was fair, the winners did show a certain level of skills, but this level is not in cheating on the system. So, a single player using multiple clones (new or old is not so important) is now given a fair chance to win the 4K crystals' bonus if only he uses a small map ("Island" looks like a good option) and keeps killing the clones for 24 hours massively (e. g. a whole line at a time with a railgun)? Or probably two players: one sniping, the other imitating some gamefight among the clones? :-) Will we be able to see the complete recordings of the top winning epic battles afterwards?
