as for me, both have the same intention, i.e. to have an extra edge over the other players. The only difference is that one is legal and the other is not. That's the main reason for me playing in NSB games

To a certain extend, I must say I do agree with you. But you should always bear in mind that nowadays, games (in general), games do make a person famous and a means of income generating activity. Like Bruce Lunga working for Tanki, and playing at the same time under the nickname of Almighty for e.g. The same goes for all other games like soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, etc. etc. The difference between Tanki and Golf for e.g., is that Tanki is one of the new generation games, where it is being played in the computer. It is how one treat his favourite game, either seriously or not, Obviously, if seriously, he would then go further than the not so seriously person. As for me, whenever I do or play something, I'll do it seriously, but I always bearing in mind that winning or losing is a part of life. Thats what make this life so beautiful. my dear OP, the problem isn't with TANKI, it's the players preference( when you said there's not much NSB played within your rank). as you most probably know, there's so many NSB going on server # 2 24 hrs a day, but most of them were played by the high ranks. These players do play the normal battles but they prefer the NSB more, like me, for e.g. Thus we end up with having a couple of thousands of drugs per item. my advice to you is to start a group of friends within you rank and start playing NSB( and of course, you need to buy the NSB pass) . Some may say it is not 'rewarding' to buy the NSB pass at you level, but if you do have a couple of friends who do enjoy playing NSB and play almost everyday, you will see the outcome. not only it is rewarding, it also improve your playing skills within a short period of time. Remember, when there's no leader, obviously there won't be any followers. Take the lead role ! ;)

My dear Scribo and Firingsniper, the m3 version of both guns is quite significantly different from m2 version. As you can see the Smokey has 1hp more for its m3 (as you mentioned) and the rate of fire is 2.1 shots more per minute, the turret turning is much faster, the crit happening is 1% increased and is 20hp more to 190hp. Imagine a Smokey m3 with nuke killing a m3 mammoth without Smokey protection paint and double armour with 1~2 shot if the crit happen. The m2 can't. The faster turret turning is very important in fierce battles but of course, some players cannot even turn their turrets, which makes them noobs. The Thunder, at m3 version the max damage is just 5 hp more than the m2 version as most players argued on,... they wanted more. But they never consider the shot per min which is 1 shot more and the turret turning significantly much faster than the m2 version. And what the stats doesn't mention is the splash damage area... of which you have to figure out yourselves once you rankup and have the EXPERIENCE OF USING the m3 version. Most players I'd came across in my noob account( dungu3) can't even, or didn't even bother to turn their turrets and there are quite a number I'd came across in my main account (this account). My suggestion to them is to buy Rail gun, as one will master tank and turret controls if played using Rail occasionally. I do believe the Devs have done a very good job on RB, the game is now BALANCED!! P.S I do have M3 version of both guns. :P

My dear OP, realising or not , what you're asking is some what similar to the distribution of the battle fund which was part of the 123 update. That update triggered a lot of "hassle' which made a lot of players left the game. The losing team has to put in more effort to win any game they entered. I had been in CTF and TDM games where there's a lot of 'sleeping players' (players that use chat a lot or just simply took time out in the middle of the game) or the 'crystal farmers' who doesn't really care whether the team is losing or winning (very frustrating in TDM). There were also players in CTF who played like they were in TDM, not willing to do their part in capturing the flag, all they know is to make kills and not getting killed, even if their team flag is being captured by the enemy, they would run for cover. The winning team DO deserve the earning percentage of the battle fund.

MY dear Cher,The topic here is about the Rail gun, not about how Tanki stole your game/equipments. I do believe there do exist a column/section/topic for whining about the RB as well as the 123 Update. You are not the only one suffering because of RB and 123 Update, ALL players do! But in this topic most people had started to accept the changes and want their life with Tanki to go on , to progress further, regardless of the RB and Update. People do sympathised on your loses, as probably you had used real money to buy your equipment, but then again it was your decision, Tanki never forced anyone to buy though they do provide the system to do so. It was meant for Players who do not have enough 'patience' to do the saving. You are not the only one who purchased. There are thousands, possibly a few millions. I do know a couple who had used up a few thousands of USD . My advise to you should you wish to accept it, stop the whining. You may lose many Tanki friends if you don't. It may be the time to move on with your life. The issue is currently under consideration by the DEVs. They will take whatever actions necessary, when necessary. Should you wish not to accept my advise, ignore my post. No one will force you you to do anything (except you parents, maybe), the decision is entirely up to you, same like buying crystal with real money.
