Banned because we finally got our own section for forum games and I'm afraid this thread might get deleted.

@Admins, What is the official boundary of Rule 2.18
r_AdvocatusDiaboli0 replied to r_AdvocatusDiaboli0 in Archive
The little bit of respect that I had for you, is gone. If anyone wants to close this thread go ahead, I see no point in discussing this anymore. 2.18 can be fixed easily by breaking it up into two distinct parts. -

Question: Are we not allowed to criticize or disagree to a consultant's consultation/opinion? (I didn't say a consultant's decision because a consultant does not have the right to pass judgement). Really appreciate you clarifying. Sometimes it is necessary to change one rule and break it up in two different parts just to get rid of ambiguity. -

No. I'm satisfied with myself seeing how both the consultants bothered to downvote this. Thanks for letting us know that you don't care about rule clarification because then you'd have to follow them too. -

Finally a sensible person, the moderators already ban the trolls, all this feature would do is reduce the amount of threads they have to close. -

The rule itself is fine, but here are some questions and observations, I understand that the rule needs to exist for a community like ours. Does the rule apply to consultants? If yes, then why are they called consultants? As we are not allowed to criticize their decisions, can we criticize their opinions? Can this rule be applied if a moderator himself breaks one of his key rules being "I shall not discuss my actions in public"? Does the rule apply to discussions about recent bans without calling names, example being a topic named "Why do we get banned for ABC ?" There are thousands of questions like that, the rule itself is ambiguous and we would love some clarification, the way judges clarify the constitutional laws. Also, it'd be nice if we can an official reply from the higher ups instead of the consultants on this. I think they might be biased xD! :D- 37 replies

The OP just stopped the discussion, big deal. That's why he's called the OP. Trust you? the only people I trust are the ones that have some respect for the community. Everyone deserves this feature except the three trolls that we have in this forum, if you value the trolls over the other players then sure be against this feature. Your counterargument being bad doesn't change anything? It makes your entire position in the argument non-existent. Stop being so proud of yourself and think for a second about the time this will save moderators and consultants, unless you're jealous of letting the people have a little bit of power over their own threads there shouldn't be a problem. In my two+ years of being a forum mod, this is the only feature I would beg to receive, it's easy to deal with three trolls instead of dealing with hundreds of unclosed threads. -
You didn't ask the most important question ಠ_ಠ

Ok honestly, this is offensive. You can't have the ability to lock your conference room's door because people will abuse it? How on Earth can a feature like this even be abused. Argumentum ad hominem... No offence but this feature is the one thing that this community deserves, I just read the second page of this thread and now I wish I didn't. Your counterargument is bad and you're probably the only one in this thread who's still against this feature. -
Love it! Can't wait for the microgrades for hulls!
