As said above, paints are filler reward, so the fact that they share rarity tiers with useful items is an important part of balancing container rewards. If you give them a different glow, they would still have to stay in the same rarity tier, but then it gets confusing when the same rarity tier has items with different colour glow. Just... deal with it I guess?

It's similar to this idea: Indeed it would be nice to have some special non-reward celebration of the player's birthday. Kind of like Reddit's "cake day" — a simple icon in chat that highlights players celebrating their birthday on that day. Not too intrusive or resource-intensive, but still fun.

Alright gang, I have a theory. Mr.Blitz finds rankups extremely exciting, therefore every time he gets a new rank, his body is filled with very high levels of adrenaline, making it feel as if time itself flows slower. Hence, in the next few battles his tank feels slow and sluggish until the adrenaline subsides and he starts feeling normal again. P.S. I'm only half-joking. I'm still 99% sure that this whole thing is psychological.

Therefore, the logical conclusion is that it's just your brain playing tricks on you, as opposed to there being some malicious system that secretly nerfs players who rank to Legend. Normal gold boxes are removed from battles and made available only during special events. Thus, there is now one additional type of special gold boxes.
