A lot of marshals got demoted, if that was said by him, then I guess that guy is just looking for fame. Never heard of him. Newer saw him. Never talked to him. Alternativa already did a check on my account a while ago to see the reason why I got demoted and found no proof of hacking. Don't you think I would have known by now if that was the case ?
-
It is not only you that got that message. Actually all of the players on the map gets this on a daily basis nowadays. It is a bug in the anti-hack routines (or at least a over excessive protection rule imposed by game administration). I don't know..just guessing Usually this is harmless in terms of crystals/points and overall battle statistics. Just refresh the page and you'll be back in action with the same data. Oh and btw, help@tankionline ... welcome to the club :) As far as I understood they receive thousands of emails/day and they can't answer you (fast). I also have a little "thing" pending @ TO support queue. If you want to know more .... read this :) http://forum.tankionline.com/posts/list/25461.page Thank you fsdfsdf - Marshal.

I think it is time that that somebody needs to translate the English side of the developers plans. (http://tankionline.com/en/plans/). I mean a Russian speaker with fluent English language knowledge. I refuse to read that page translated by some software on the web... :). I want to read it on the website translated by an admin. Thx :) -

Now let's get this straight :) I am not saying you should go and buy a new one just like that.. I understand that you love your comp's because they are stable but it is also a matter of what exactly are you using them for to be that stable. Some things demands a lot of resources while some can manage with less. You should not take for granted everything one or other says.. You should do your own research about buying a new computer (budget it, the things you plan to use it for, brand/platform and so on) while taking in consideration the advices of others.. What I am trying to say is that only you are the one that knows what's best. I have just explained what i would have done if I were in your place... Also, take in consideration the fact that Tanki 2.0 will be faster than the current version so... -

Looks like someone is pretty good at hardwares! Yep, it is dual core on HP workstation xw6000 with XP. Playing in Google Chrome. Yet, fps 4-12 in Fort Nox 2. When all players are in (7/7), it is a real mess, like seeing breakdance show. I miss shoots 4 out of 10, especially when a Hornet m3 runs away with the flag. I hope Tanki 2 won't be that slow... Eh.. so you have E7505 chipset MOBO and the CPU seems to be an Intel Xeon (code name "Prestonia") with 512KB L2 cache. Sad news but in my opinion that is a little too old for this. :) I must tell you I have no problems on a Dell Vostro laptop with a Core2Duo T9300 @ 2.6GHz. and we are talking mobile performance here which is usually beneath Desktop/Server comps performance. But hey, look on the bright side...you have a reason to buy a new box or maybe a laptop :D -

Rumor has it that Tanki 2.0 will be faster than current version...at least that is what player(user) Mehdadoo is saying. I don't have such info's but i am looking forward to play it :D. As for me, i have a Intel i5 on a Sony Vaio and a Core2Duo T9300 on a Dell Vostro. I have a desktop with Intel i7 but desktops are old news these days. On both laptops the game is running pretty smooth...but there is room for improvement :). -

I am sorry Denisko but i can't open a new thread on Russian forum. You would not understand a thing I say and I would not understand a thing from what you say to me :). Sorry but i don't know Russian :( But hey...look on the bright side, you guys have a lot more info's on the Russian forum. All the good stuff is happening there (championships, latest news and and rumors, clans, test server discussions and access and so on). English side of the forum looks a little like Sahara compared to the Russian one :). But let's hope that will change in the future. :D -

Mehdadoo first of all i am not spreading any rumors about anything. Relax. :). I am only expressing an OPINION if not a question. Feel free to contradict me. I do not mind. It is called a DEBATE and usually it takes place on a FORUM. I am the last person to spread anything about anyone. I do not have access to the information that you have ("The shadows are not dynamic."). Nevertheless, a light-map/diffuse map blend in multiply mode still means more Math compared to what it is now, at least in theory. Of course, a detail level slider it's a very handy feature but I was talking about a "play-as-is" situation. For example, right now, lowering the visible area in game on a map like Brest is not a very good option in a crowded battle where I need to see as much details as I can from the battle field. All that i have said assumed that things will be calculated in real-time like in a desktop 3D game. But again, you seem to have more info's ..so.. Memory is not a problem...everybody has it these days :D Do not get me wrong! I LOVE Tanki. I played Tanki for a long time and i will play it in the future. I love the look of the new Tanki 2.0. I was just wondering... that's all. P.S. You can't tell much my looking at a promo video, isn't it ? :). As I previously said, keep-up the good work guys. :) Persia looks amazing in those pictures. I love the lights and shadows. Can't wait to battle on it :) -

I take it that by "XP's" you mean comp's with Windows XP as the installed OS. Yes it will work. The OS is not really the issue here. The problem is if you have enough pure CPU processing power to play. Don't take my words literally. For me, playing Tanki the right way means a really smooth and nice game-play even if I play on a really large map with lots of players ( aka a lot of polygons to render/calculate in the CPU). The big problem with Flash is that almost all operations (the movement of the polygons on screen eg. your tank) are not rendered in the GPU of your computer as it does in the 3D desktop games, but in the CPU. All this translates into this: the more powerful CPU you have the smoother your game-play will be. Of course the FPS can vary depending on where you play tanki (different browsers, different OS-es, desktop mode or browser-based mode and not last, the Flash Player version that you have installed on your comp.) But in the end, the FPS variation is not that big in all this situations. In the end, it all comes down to the CPU you have to make a significant difference. So my concern with the new Tanki 2.0 arrival is that maybe i won't be able to play a map like, let's say Brest, where on top of all that there is now, there will be other effects like shadow and camera shake, day and night lighting conditions and so on... I will be able to play any map, that is for sure, but to really have a nice playing experience i need to see all the movement in real time not like in cartoons. Last but not least, usually, desktop processors are more powerful than their equivalents for laptop's. I have 2 laptop's at this moment, one with a Core2DUo T9300 CPU and the other with an Intel i5. So I am pretty much at the top of "the food chain" (for a home-user laptop, of course). There is nothing out there that i can go buy and upgrade my processor or even buy a new laptop. Now, i know that Alternativa3D 7 does an outstanding job as the 3D engine behind the scenes (keep up the good work guys :) ), but still the question remains... P.S. I am looking forward to the day that Adobe will finally decide to implement in Action Script 3 or 4 the access to low-level functions in Direct-X. That would be a major boost for Flash/Air/Flex&Comp. -

For those who have not seen the trailer for the new Tanki 2.0, here you can see it on action as well as a screen-shot of the new interface. The whole thing looks promising although the new features will bump up the CPU requirements on our computers. So may God have mercy on my poor Core2Duo T9300.. ) What do you think about it ? :) The trailer: ...and the new interface: -
This fall. And it will be integrated with vkontakte.ru and Facebook. A little sneak-peak here: http://blog.alternativaplatform.com/en/2010/07/07/3d-is-coming-to-social-networks/ Have fun.
