Hi there! Welcome to the searching group of the first Quest open for English players. Last Quests: Quest N°5 Searching Group Russian topic Day 1 (01/01/2014) Quest postponed. Applications open here. TIP: Enter with all your accounts. It might take some more seconds but you'll be happy later on! To enter with multiples accounts, clean your cookies after having applied with one. Day 2 (02/01/2014) We watch the Video of the Day 1. 1. At 0:31 in the video, you see a flash of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Screen 2. At the map "Factory", we find the number "166887". Screen. 3. In the forum, use the above number (166887) and go to the respective thread: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=166887 4. In the opening post, we see the world "the game" is highlighted. Screen. 5. Click the link and it will show this image. 6. The picture is marked with a "1", so it contains the answer. Watching carefully, we see that the "NO EXIT" words on the wall on the right have been deleted. The word is EXIT. Due to the delay, Day 1 and 2 have been merged together. He played "Mr. Freeze". Picture. The answer is FREEZE. Day 3 (03/01/2014) 1. We got some hints in the Video of the day. First we got the hint of Tim Robbins books. We found the book Noise and we searched for hints in the map noise. We found there a half You Tube Link. The other hint in the video to search in the topic of Update 200 lead us to the other half of the link. Since the video was deleted the Game was refreshed. After the refresh we just found the YouTube Link in the "Patch Notes / Updates" Post written in invisible words. Screen. 2. In the background of the video there were the picture of the winning entry of the contest "Slogan for TankiOnline T-Shirts". After finding the topic of the contest and the picture we got the next hint. 3. In the picture above is the time we need to watch the video at. The video was from Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence. 4. At the time 4:25 in the video, you can hear nothing. And a second after you can hear the word Silence. The word is SILENCE. Day 4 (04/01/2014) 1. We hear in the video the sentence "Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you get". This sentence is out of the movie "Forest Gump". 2. The title of the movie includes the word Forest. Forest is a map in Tanki Online. 3. When we search the map we find two logos in the sky. One is Facebook's one and the other belongs to the russian social network VKontakte. Screen, screen. 4. When we look at the Facebook page and in the first picture we find another hint. The sign with the guy at the stairs. Screen. 5. The sign leads us to the map Subway. There we find the number <4> and 24% behind a wall. Screen. 6. The other sentence in the video "When you meet other tanks it is difficult to determine the outcome of the fight" tells us that we need to look at times when you know the outcome of a fight, for example if one has got an Isida behind. Moreover if two Isidas fight the outcome is also not clear. 7. We need to look at Isida. 24% has nothing to do with Isida except the protection of some paints. ALIEN has got 24% protection against Isida. The word is ALIEN. Day 5 (05/01/2014) 1. On the billboards of the maps we found a QR code which gave "game" by scannning it. In the video Semyon said gave us the link of the Tanki Wiki, so we just combine the two things: http://en.tankiwiki.com + /game = http://en.tankiwiki.com/game/ 2. The link leads us to a puzzle, which needs to be solved. The guy in the picture is Hazel-Rah. Screen. 3. We went to Hazel-Rah's profile and found a link which lead to this picture. In the picture you can see the player Godmode_ON and a sign that says doom. The player Godmode_ON should be a special player. He has a colour with a big protection to all weapons and when he gets killed 3 Gold boxes fall. 4. If you go to the Doom Wiki you will found a cheat code IDDQD. Screen. It was a cheat used for the game DOOM. It sets health to 100% and makes player immune to damage. It's called "godmode". With the cheat you turn the Godmode on. The word is IDDQD. Day 6 (06/01/2014) 1. At first we got a hint inside of the video if the day about a "Staff Only" sign which - as the majority thinks - should stop tanks. 2. The sign reminds us about the homepage of the Test Server, so we go there: http://test.tankionline.com/. Screen. 3. If we press on the green light we need to choose a language. After it we are lead to a video. The video includes a morse code and an incomplete Link. Video. 4. Inside the video is - as said above - a Morse Code. When we translate this code we get the number 4141853. Morse. 5. Moreover there was an incomplete Link inside of the video. If we put the numbers inside of the incomplete Link (http://savepic.net/???????.JPG) we get this Link: http://savepic.net/4141853.jpg Pic. The guy in the picture is Semyon, so the answer is his gaming nickname. The word is SemyonKirov. Day 7 (07/01/2014) 1. The video is not clear so we have a look at the description. 2. We find a link to a download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/wyd0lo9bds3yasq/7_word.zip 3. The file is protected by a password. After a few trials, we guess the password is 2014. 4. The picture is a rebus. Picture. 5. We solve the rebus with the word Wasp (somehow - don't ask) The word is Wasp. This has been a really epic year, full of surprises, letdown, even better surprises, contests, sales! I wish everyone to have an even better 2014 year - in both real life and Tanki. Don't forget that Tanki is made of an awesome community and is perfect, but that's not a reason to play 20/7. Special thanks to Bruce, conan and Semyon, who helped me a lot through my reporter "carrier", to everyone from BEE, DS and LOK, who are awesome friends, to all my subscribers, who make me happier every days, to all staff members, active, fired, who left or are still there, working hard for us, and also to the Forum community, which is so entertaining, with it's arguing, friendship, and skills!
