Coolest combo
-
Ofc, on 5 accounts. :D
-
^Congrats, #6955.. #7000 is coming ^^
-
Getting this m2 in two days. Hope to be greatly surprised!
-
Haha, the main similarity is that peek-a-boo tactics work well with both weapons.
-
Get Shaft as well as Hornet M3 and Thunder. You'll be loaded.
-
Weird that so many of your accounts were hacked. Be careful not to tell anyone your pass or to enter sites 'which givesm crystals'. And 2 years, cool. I play for more than 2 years too :D
-
Yeah.
-
Thanks.. and if you see me in a battle and I'm not answering nor showing any signs of skills, it is because my sis will play on my account ^^
-
My rating's crap man.. Partially because before RB, around March 2012 I used Isida and it gave points according to your rating and your enemy's rating, so I tried to have the lowest rating in order to have the most points XD
-
Ok, need to rank before the sale so I can complete my garage..

Review [Issue 19] New Physics: Ricochet, Twins and Shaft
Raphael2 replied to Raphael2 in [Issue 19] New Physics: Ricochet, Twins and Shaft Newspaper Archive
Recently, we've had the launch of the new physics. This update changed quite a lot of things; mostly the hulls but also Shaft, Ricochet and Twins. We'll review the changes made to these guns and see everything you need to know about it. RICOCHET Firstly, the biggest changes are with Ricochet. You can see them by watching this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUNaor93ba8 For the correct use of this gun, you have to predict the enemy's movements and speed, so you fire where you think that they will go. As you've seen, the bullets' traveling speed has increased a lot; but the reload time did not change. Ricochet used to be hard to use at medium range - the speed of the plasma balls was so slow that your opponent could change his direction and not have a single scratch. With the new speed, which is incredibly fast compared to what it used to be, it is much easier to use Ricochet's full potential: its range of 80. From the video, you may think that Ricochet's recoil has been reduced, because the Viking almost doesn't move. However, it is not the case, it is only due to the changes made on the hulls. Unfortunately, as you've seen, parkour isn't possible anymore. It is probably because hulls have been changed to make them more stable, as Rico's shot doesn't influence the hull as much as it used to. When you get hit by the plasma charges, you are so confused that it is almost impossible to aim properly at the attacking tank, and it becomes very hard to move. SHAFT Next, another big change is with Shaft. Shaft's playing style has totally changed. A lot of players thought it has been nerfed, but it was buffed in my opinion. To have a great score, you only had to stay in an open place where you can see a transit point, charge your scope, shoot when you see someone, and if someone else shows up, the reload time was so fast that you wouldn't have much damage before you kill him. Now, the scope charge loads quicker than ever! But the reload time is slow. You can't just stay in an open space. You have to hide, Shaft is now perfect for peek-a-boo tactics. When you see an enemy, load the gun, kill him or damage him, run away, then look for another target and resume. You can see the loading time changes here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7PBUOqKQsQ The improvements made on the hulls made Shaft effective with light hulls such as Hornet. You can see a gameplay of this combo here. TWINS Finally, last but not least, Twins. We were told that the traveling speed for all modifications will be the same, and that it will be reduced by a third. All of us were thinking that Twins will be nerfed. We all have been surprised when we saw the speed of 180 for all Ms! So Twins hasn't been nerfed, but buffed. That is a chance to take at M0 ranks! Unfortunately/fortunately, Mammoth has been nerfed, because light and medium hulls have seen their speed increase; while Mammoth and Titan's speed has almost not changed. The nitro formula change from "speed+30%+2" to "speed+30%" disadvantaged Mammoth even further. So you will never see drugging Mammoth/Twins owning the battlefield again. Oh well, maybe once, but Hornet/Freeze or even Viking/Shaft can now compete with Twins! I hope that you will be able to take advantage of this update, using these buffed weapons at their fullest potential. What do you think of the update? Is Shaft buffed or nerfed in your opinion? -
Haven't even seen one.. Oh yeah I haven't played.

Interview [Issue 19] Ask The Community 5
Raphael2 replied to Raphael2 in [Issue 19] Ask The Community 5 Newspaper Archive
2014 is already here! It's time to make ourselves some resolutions! I've interviewed some players about theirs, because everyone knows that when our goals are made public, we get support from our friends and we succeed more often! Also, it might interest you that people achieve their goals more easily when they set small measurable goals, like earning 10k points per week. My primary goal is rank up to at least Marshal, earn the Helper paint at least 2 more times, be accepted for Chat Moderation, at least quadruple my youtube following with quality vlogs, extensively fill my garage with M3 items and quality paints. A little more detailed would be my desire to work with the Tanki team as an English community manager, and I will work towards that as hard as I can :) @marc.anthony I have resolved to be less competitive in-game and help other tankers more,as Tanki has got a lot of selfish players recently. :( This also goes for the real world. @Ranger7 My goal for the New Year is to find at least one problem with my game a month. Obviously, I have tons of problems, and I hope to find and eliminate the most common of them. I want to be actively endeavoring to be a better player, since I really enjoy bringing my game to a higher level. @Valletta My resolutions (if I dare to take them seriously and actually accomplish them for a change) would include all the banal wishes most tankmen/women have made. My goal will be to add up to what I've done so far - continue working here and helping as much as I can, getting more tanki content on my channel, getting a set of fully micro-upgraded M3's and maybe even becoming the former last rank, Marshal. Here's to 2014! My goal for 2014 is earning about 5k points per DAY till I become a generalissimo :) In new year I want to make everything to become staff and help players to enjoy the game :) so for me the most important things in new year are become a respected player with a better knowledge of English language with new friends and good account :) @mchen Probably to try and play at least an hour's worth of gameplay each day, I haven't been on the game properly for month's and to maybe try and micro upgrade fully at least an m3 turret and m3 hull by the end of next year. :D @legenddestroyer Well my goals for 2014 are to get the M3's I want and help others in battles. Maybe show new players some skills and give them my opinions on paints, hulls, turrets and so on. Last but not least, I hope to become very skilled with railgun/wasp, my current and favorite combo. @GoldRock My Tanki goals centre around THE PLAN. This is an amazingly crafty scheme of mine, made up of FIVE cunning steps: THE PLAN. 1. Create an account 2. Log into the said account 3. Play on the said account 4. Continue to contribute to the community through actively partaking in discussions and debates on the forum, sharing any possible suggestions/improvements with administrators, and by continuing to run my recently created forum game and helping out with the Tanki World Records topic. Continue to bring some humour to the forum :P Enter a variety of contests, submit regular editorials for the Tanki newspaper, create a Your Creativity topic, and finish setting up a Tanki-related blog alongside some prominent community members and staff. Get more actively involved in helping to give advice in the What to Buy and Questions and Answers topics, and avoid receiving any more bans *shifty glance over shoulder* Rank up to Brigadier (at least) and achieve an M3 combo, hopefully taking part in a low-profile clan war or two at some point. 5. Politely celebrate past achievements (see 4. for more information) I have managed to complete THREE of these steps. The other TWO will be completed shortly. My tanki resolution would be to improve my attitude on the forum, as in to not lose my temper easily as I did before, and get as many bans. Why? Because I'd rather not have my main banned forever or keep making new alts, even though it only takes a few minutes to do so, it's a waste of time. Also, I don't want to keep being annoyed by other people arguing with me (@Haters), so I'll just let them waste their time arguing while I'm off doing something more worth my time. @LETCHIK_WOLK My goals for 2014 in Tanki are reaching my final combo which makes my 'career' in this wonderful game complete, so I'll finally be happy with what I've earned in 3 years. Also, I want to become a player who's worth playing with and will have lots of fun with other friends here. In real life: Since I have a lot of trouble deciding what I should go studying (medicine or physics), I will need to cut the rope and decide my 'future'. So hopefully I'll be able to choose what I really want. Oh, and by the way: I hope everyone will experience a great 2014 with many lucky moments! My goals... Well I'd love to have enough crystals to buy Thunder M3, my favourite gun, and light tank M3 kit at Brigadier, then I'll save up for Railgun M3 and heavy tank M3 kit at General, as everything in those kits is my favourite gear. Moreover I'd love to win some battle tournaments and show my skills to everyone! Oh about a goal I managed to complete, it was about making about 36k points to rank from Captain to Major before the sales, I bought Score Multiplier pass and made all those points in less than 4 days! When my friends saw I made it in 4 days they were very surprised as it was a hard goal, but I made it. ^_^ Oh and Gold goals... I'd love to get at least a 3000 gold box everyday up to the end of the Christmas event. I've already caught 3 in 2 days, let's see of I can do it ^_^ By the way it's the hardest project ever, after sales (in which I'll buy m1-m2 hunter, m2 railgun, m2 thunder, m2 firebird) I will have to collect crystals somehow... and keep dictator m2 up to brigadier. So I made a count, I need 2.000.000 crystals up to Generalissimo to get Firebird M3, Ricochet M3 and Dictator M3 with the other things I mentioned above, so please, tell me "Good luck" :D I have one more for real life: Have a girlfriend :D Raph don't add this! :P @Okle7 My goal for this New Year sale is to buy Viking M0-M3, Ricochet M0-M3, Clay, Pro Battle Pass (since its going to run out on the 31st ^_^ ), and some First Aids. For now I have enough for Viking and Ricochet but I need 28k more crystals to get the other things. :/ I think I will make it since I have no school now and earn like 6k per day. ^_^ After I get my New Year goals I'm going to go for M3 Mammoth since I'm a Generalissimo without it, -_- after that i honestly don't know what I'm going to buy, I think I may go for Zeus and later get Isida M3. My plan this year was VERY different but the sales changed it and i think that will happen for my far future plans too. @jiangreo My goal for 2014 is to reach Generalissimo and complete the goal of achieving Dictator M3 :) Resolutions can be of many sorts and forms. There are many thing people aspire for and crave for the accomplishments of it. My resolutions are quite unique and exquisite. Tanki is a growing community and people such as the sophisticated staff like moderators and consultants in addition to many other roles are trying their best make this game better. One of my resolutions is to help the forum, to help the members to become more indulged in the fact that this is their game and that they have the benefit of having a cyber-social intimacy as well as quality online gaming receiving many praises and official awards everywhere! Tanki for me is a place where I play with friends who I meet online. I hope to see more friends evolving around me and too see the forums more active. As many people would be aware, I have already started a new thread called 'zia general and gameplay advice' that is extremely successful. Within the first day I had over 3 pages full of concerns received by players and I have done my best to answer all of them. I always say that a New Years resolution or any resolution should be thoughtful and well organised. Not only that but I feel as if it's my duty to make my resolutions to positively affect those around me. I am very reluctant to have been playing such a game that has given me status and respect without even asking or wanting. Tanki has given me a unimaginable opportunity to play a game that has many exquisite aspects such as gaming, socialisation and of course, fun. Tanki helped me so I will help Tanki, making sure I do the best I can to make the Tanki Online environment a more proactive one. The profound intensity of my garage is such that I have have fully upgraded m2 garage with hunter at its end as m0. The dictator kit is something I will also be looking forward to as a resolution to my gaming. The main aspect of this years resolution is to conduct a friendly approach to many players and to achieve a sophisticated hierarchy in terms of becoming a consultant so I may try and be close to being as helpful as Raphael2 and FederalBureauFBI and make a real change to this community in a more positive light. As a genuine Tanki member it is hard for me to express the way Tanki has given me the confidence I needed not only online but offline. I had a resolution last year that I wanted to be more social and to get along with people very well. Thanks to Tanki it has been a dream come true. By visiting the forums I have been able to obtain a unique and diverse range of complex vocabulary and have also implemented the complex syntax people use to advocate and structure their writing. Tanki isn't all fun and games for me, it has given me security to talk to strangers positively which will also help me in my job as an accountant. I wouldn't be surprised to tell my interviewer about how my English is so good although I use a bit of common slang in the forums usually. What parents as well as the common workers, children, and employees and everyone don't realise is how Tanki is more than just a game. It has a very high profiles forum which always undergoes inspection regularly and cyber bullying and aspects as such never continue in this game for long. The fact that people only treat this as a game for fun is quite disappointing. Hopefully my new year resolution will allow myself to alert others about the benefits and good-worth of Tanki and how it brings out to become an advantageous game for everyone. Now enough of me talking about my resolutions, I will now talk a bit on how my goals can be reached for the betterment of all. Hopefully if I'm worthy enough I will apply to become a Consultant by which I can officially and openly give advice as I am doing right now, but by knowing that Tanki players officially recognise me as a helper will truly bring out the best in me. Becoming a consultant has been my dream for longer than three quarters of a year and I feel as if I am doing the correct things and formally advocating my advices and ways of helping out to such an extent that I am happy to say that I'm receiving high regards and popularity everywhere. As my friends will know, I am very talkative and one of the things I have written down in my diary is to be less chatty. As funny as this sounds I talk a lot and tend to over exaggerate slightly :D My ways of conducting specific issues on the forum has now been altered to more positive approaches. It's a long shot but I also want to try and amend the way players reply to quotes, 'DidYouKnowThat' is a person who quotes less and uses the '@' sign followed by the name of the person he is talking to in order to direct to them. This is an efficient use of making the forum well jam packed with quotes coming from left, right and and center and although many others do this, I have seen him do it a lot and he has a good example to go by. I personally think that a resolution isn't one that means to just have a few key concepts to improve, but to improve the self as well as to achieve goals. Hopefully if my plans go well, I will hopefully be beamed to be helping guys out everywhere In the forum and in the game. I'm sure Tanki staff would also love to have me on their side. Thanks for reading and hope you have a very good New Year. Shout outs go to Fataltank, Remaine, GTdone and of course raptor2k12. @eragon33 I have gained some terrible reputation this past year, I've decided to improve, I've decided to stop flooding, to stop saying pointless things (or the word "pointless"), I will stop offending, I will stop annoying people and try not to argue. I will improve my game by learning more ways of jumping and landing on my tracks, I will upgrade my garage, play more, heal more, buy more drugs and better paints. I will talk less on chat I will improve in PS by making more effects, more originality, more shadows, my own backgrounds. I will making newbie pics, study more programs. I'll also make more orders as I promised... I will try to improve everything, the best I can, but I ask the community to help and forgive me, to give me a chance. That will change me... Whatever happens, I would like to say thank you for your patience, and sorry for me being annoying. I am looking forward to be better and to improve! It has been a long while since I have had a M3 in my garage (because of rebalance), so by the end of 2014 I want to achieve having a M3/M3 combo in my garage. Preferably M3 Hornet and M3 Railgun (if I can rank that fast :P). Real life 2014 resolution: In 2014, I would like my football team to have won the City School Cup. So far, my team is doing pretty well practicing and playing against other schools. Staying with school, I want to study Science because when I am older, I would love to be a scientist (more than being a footballer :D) :). Well, in Tanki, I'll try earning 15 000 crystals each weekend, instead of 10 000, that way I can get crystals a little faster. I also want to try getting more Gold Boxes. Those are the only goals I have in Tanki for now. As for real life, well, 2014 is just starting, I will soon find some goals to achieve for sure. What about my resolutions? Well, I would like to expand my YouTube channel to three times the size, to keep creating content for the Newspaper, to start getting a few M3s, to improve my Sony Vegas skills, to learn German, and to successfully pass my french exams this summer! What are yours? Comment! -

Guide [Issue 19] YouTube Lesson: Basics
Raphael2 replied to Raphael2 in [Issue 19] YouTube Lesson: Basics Newspaper Archive
It is already 2014! You may want to make some good resolutions. What about sharing your games, skills and ideas to the rest of the world? YouTube is the place to do that. You can quickly upload videos and show them to your friends, on the world's second biggest search engine. But what you have no clue on how to do this? After almost two years uploading videos, I'll give you some tips until you become fully satisfied with what you can do. So, first of all, you need a YouTube channel. For that, you need a Google account, so create an account or log in. I would use an account only for Tanki, so you don't mix up real life and Tanki Online. Now that you have an account, you are ready to publish your first video! Well it is not made yet... Let's now see how to make a video! You need an idea. What kind of video do you want to make? You can choose several types of videos to have an entertaining and large channel. Just choose what fits you best! You can do some gameplay videos (example), or if you are fond of parkouring you can upload your most epic parkour (example), you can also choose to record the game each time there is a gold box notification, so you can do a montage! (example) If you prefer to give advice to others you can also review parts of your garage in order to convince people! (example) In each case, you need to record your screen. How to do that? Well, firstly, you should try out a free recorder which doesn't require any download, screencast-o-matic. I've used this one between 2012 and November 2013, and it is incredibly effective. Just go to screencast-o-matic.com and click "Start Recording"! It will open a new window, you will be able to crop the recording zone and select if you want to record sound coming from your mic or not. It is quicker to use if you download it, you don't have to go to the site each time you want to record a video. You can also use better quality programs, but you'll need to pay them. I recommend Fraps which I actually use, as it has a perfect recording quality and it can record sounds from your computer, unlike screencast-o-matic. (Check out) I'm sure that you don't need help to record the video itself - it is easy. After recording, you have the video stored somewhere on your computer. Now you need to upload it on YouTube. Make sure you're signed into your account. To the left of your username, you'll find a link called "Upload." Click on that. A new window will pop up and will let you select a file from your computer. Select your video and click the "Choose" button. The video will start to upload and you'll see its progress as well as a bunch of other options. Make sure you do not close this page until the video has finished uploading or it will not finish. While the video is uploading, you can change the name, add a description, enter tags, and fill out other relevant information. You should add a catchy title, containing "Tanki Online". My layout for Tanki videos is "Tanki Online - title of the video". Make sure to have a title which gives a good preview of what the viewers will see, or they won't want to watch your video. For example, instead of "tanki gameplay", you should write "Tanki Online - Ricochet M3/Viking M3 Gameplay in Silence CTF + Gold Box!". The description is not as important, but it should contain important keywords, so your video is easily promoted by YouTube. Often, you won't have an idea when you'll have to fill in the description. Make it more personal than the title! Here is an example by @Valletta, whose channel is here: "While re-doing my videos I still spend some time playing, duh! :D In this video I... am not quite sure what the heck I'm doing. Co-starring Raphael2 - subscribe to him here! ♦ Comment, rate and subscribe - it is much appreciated! ♦ Stalk me on twitter: https://twitter.com/7Valletta ♦ Be a fellow tankman: http://zti.me/mwJ ♦ Stalk me on facebook: http://zti.me/stA ♦ YouTubers' Forum! - http://youtube.prophpbb.com" As you see, he has included Calls to Action. That's vital, most people won't like, subscribe or comment if they are not asked to. Once it reaches 100%, you'll see a link at the top of the screen that you can click to view your video. Congratulations, you've just uploaded your first Tanki video! Now that you know how it works, you should have no trouble doing it again and again. Okay, you've uploaded a video. I'm already hearing you saying "But... Why don't I have any views after 10 hours? :(". Let me answer: nothing is given easily. You'll have to share it. It is a Tanki video, right? Then, share it to the source! First, how to publish a video on the Forum? Check out this guide by @FederalBureauFBI: How to post a video. A list of topics in which you can share your video without being flooding the forum: Your Recent Gameplay! Discussion of turrets and hulls (in the appropriate topic) Creativity Gold Boxes! (if it is a gold box video) English Community Parkour (if it is a parkour video) If the upload time is too long, more than 45 minutes, I recommend you to use Handbrake, in order to reduce the size of your video. It is free and can be downloaded here (handbrake.fr). When you'll first launch the program, you might be scared by the complex interface. DON'T RUN AWAY. I'll support you. So, firstly, you need to click on "Source", then select "Video File" and choose your video. Now, select the destination file by clicking "Browse". Open the "Video" tab in order to select a quality factor, I use values between 18 and 24 (lower = higher quality = larger size) We're done! You now know how to upload a video on YouTube! I hope that you are satisfied with yourself. In the next lesson, I'll teach you how to perfectly customize your channel and more!
