    Glad to see more and more tankers learning to appreciate the power of this rather underrated turret. On the other hand, I am not so glad since more and more people are using Eagle module as a result >_>

  3. You're forgetting the fact that Hornet is really fragile.
  4. Hunter may indeed have the weakest overdrive in terms of destructive power, but it is one of the most disruptive overdrives in the game, capable of neutering almost any sort of defense you throw at it, and stopping even the most potent of offense. Even if one were to survive being zapped by a Hunter, the fact that all your supplies are reset means that you're better of self-destructing and getting them back anyway.

    The only thing that kept me playing Tanki back in 2011 was the fact it was a novel experience for me. I liked trying out new turrets as they unlocked. The amount of hackers back then were enormous. It really took the fun out of the game. I would 500% take the current Tanki over any period.
  10. To be honest, aside from Vulcan's general lack of DPs and a slight nerf needed here and there, I think the current meta is quite balanced, especially compared to previous iterations.
  11. Excuse me? :lol: I would rather like to know how much health my opponent has before I waste a shot that takes ~6 seconds to reload. Hornet's OD doesn't really need a buff right now, its really dang strong atm. In Legend battles (especially DM), you can never by truly "safe from combat", since enemies are constantly spawning around you. Being able to completely ignore both protections and double armor is such a massive advantage, especially for high-damage, long reload turrets. And before you discount my opinion for being "biased", I've been using Shaft for more than half a decade now, so I think I know what I'm talking about.

    A Decade of Tanki Online!

    A decade of this game starting as a simple, yet fun game, whilst being a technical achievement pushing the boundaries of the Flash Player, and turning into a poorly balanced cash grab. Yet somehow, I still enjoyed every step of the way. Cheers to 10 years to Cedric and the entire TO staff, including "Pony Tail Boy" ;) :mrgreen:

  14. Nostalgia clouds the vision. They cherry pick their good moments whilst forgetting all the hackers and cheaters ruining pretty much EVERY game that wasn't a private battle. But whatever, this game is trash, and so am I.

Incendiary mix disables burning Corrosive mix disables freezing Dragon breath increases shot spread Heavy Plasma Gun decreases projectile speed tremendously Incendiary rounds simply substitute the normal critical hit for a burning effect, which can easily be countered by the Firebird protective module Uranium reduces Striker's projectile speed to the point where its not viable for medium to long range combat Incendiary Band reduces Vulcan's base damage by 10% Large caliber shells increase Railgun's reload and shot preparation time Mortar decreases Magnum's maximum damage by 20% Short band emitter increases arcade reload and heavy capacitors decreases scope speed and increases shot charge time\ Also, there are alts that decrease damage to trade for faster reload time such as Railguns Scout Thunder Small Caliber Ammo Smoky Autocannon Shaft Light Capacitors They're called "alterations" for a reason. They simply adjust certain parameters to suit more specific play styles or to add more varied options to existing turrets. Although I must admit certain alts, such as Uranium, Incendiary band, and Duplet have more advantages than disadvantages that should really get remedied in a future patch.

  19. Because there's obviously something realistic about bouncing plasma cannons, or Smoky and Thunder shells that somehow have hitscan projectiles, or literally EVERY TURRET that has infinite ammo. While you're at it, why not make Firebird's range at least 100m? Some flamethrower tanks in WWII had that as its maximum range. Go War Thunder if you want "realism".
