    Anti-Ghost Keyboard

    I'd recommend mouse controls tbh.
  2. Comparison to War Thunder is moot 'cuz they also don't have rapid-fire plasma cannons nor refrigerator cannons. There's already a smoky alt for long-ranged sniping. Having two alterations dedicated to the same type of play style is just redundant in my opinion.

Why are Isidas and Thunders noobs?

Thunder, Twins, Ricochet, and all the short ranged turrets have fairly low skill ceilings and don't need a lot of effort to learn their mechanics to do well. Just point and shoot.
  5. This is a topic for Firebird, not Hammer...

    Let's Discuss Hammer!

I swear the duplet craze is really getting out of hand. My 43% module is barely sufficient to keep myself from being Hammered (pun intended) into oblivion.

    Legends creativity in renaming themselves

The majority of tankers, especially XP-BP players, are egotistical, prideful, and are deprived of any semblance of sportsmanship. They'll find whatever reason to "stand out" or "look cool" (hence the pretentious and oversimplistic nicknames.) One look at the XP/BP/Other Chat and I guarantee you'll find something like "Win" or "Game" or something along those lines. If you outplay them, they'll oftentimes demand for rematch after rematch until they win. If they keep losing, they'll sometimes resort to harassing you in chat, accuse you of cheating, and even defame you. This is why I absolutely refuse to participate in Tanki's XP scene. I don't want to be exposed to the full force of toxicity the community has to offer. I already have enough from MM battles. I know, "Not all Players hhhh", but I've seen enough cases to warrant such an opinion.

    Tanki in SEA?

I am just as confused as you are. Not sure if this is official, but if it is, then its about time Tanki reached out to other regions for players.

    Tanki in SEA?

I just saw this on my Facebook feed a while ago... Tanki SEA servers confirmed or? And if you click on the link it shows this:

    Let's Discuss Railgun!

It limits the potential of the gun as a whole lol. Wait for Hornet and its overdrive.
  12. While I do agree that players should have some say on the updates (we're already mass testers at this point), I feel like a good balance must be struck. The only things worse than the devs doing bad updates, is us being part of the problem. After all, its the devs who know their game best(?).

Music you listen to while battling

I rarely listen to music whilst playing Tanki these days, 'cuz I gotta keep an ear out for enemy engine sounds, supply box activation/deactivation, shot sounds, mines, and overdrive activation. It may not sound much at first, but it adds up. But when I do, I listen to Japanese/Korean/Chinese high-BPM electronic music. Quite fitting for TO's game play if you ask me.

Episode 194 of the V-LOG is live!

Thats what they said about the 2012 rebalance update as well. I for one, welcome changes. Variety is always welcome, just make sure it has been tested properly from a technical AND balance perspective. Please don't let this be a dumpster fire. Wasp's overdrive seems to be quite tricky to use, but might work out well for flag capers looking to disorient the defending team. Being blinded by a pixelated nuke isn't the most pleasant thing in the world, I've been there. It should also have the knockback like Juggernaut's overdrive. Hornet's overdrive is very interesting for team play and information management, assuming you can communicate with your team, that is. The protection bypass makes it a really good hull for players who use turrets that people get protections for, like Thunder, Railgun, Firebird, or Smoky. Hunter's overdrive is reminiscent of the ECM class of another game that I used to play; disabling the enemy and removing any positive effects they might have. Could be a game-changer in a drug war. Does it stop enemies from firing their guns as well? Vikings overdrive is insanely scary. Its MUCH more potent than I expected it would be. Imagine Rail and Magnum (especially with mortar) with THAT thing. How would it even work with Shaft's scoped shots? Or with Striker salvos? RIP Juggernaut. Titan's overdrive might be extremely potent in ASL Blue team and CP. Do you get points for teammates healed by the turret? I think that Mammoth needs to be slower, immobile even, when the overdrive is active, because you ain't gonna stop that thing when it crawls its way to your base in Rugby. Like with Titan, it might also make ASL Blue team viable again.

    Why Tanki has lost players?

It might've been, but maybe advertising was also a factor. Back when Flash games were still popular (circa 2010-2011), Miniclip used to have these Tanki Online ads (I think, my memory is pretty hazy), and seeing a 3d game run on flash of all things BLEW my mind as a kid, so I hopped on to it and I think a lot of the older players here did as well. Perhaps the fact that TO cut its ads and flash games in general declined in popularity over the years may have contributed to the declining player count. Perhaps people left simply because they're tired of the game, or because of the updates; maybe both...mere statistics can't answer this. Things aren't always so black and white.
  18. I was referring to the fact that he said that the devs should compensate the player for every change they make to the balance. I think the only time they did this was when they refunded all of the player's garages during the 2012 Rebalance update, which was justifiable due to its scope. Anyway, balance is a very touchy subject. For every miniscule change the developers make to a turret or hull, a butterfly sort of effect cascades down to every other turret. Add to the factor of individual skill level of each player, and it becomes a very, very complicated matter. (Don't even get me started on the alterations ugh) I for one, think that relatively constant (i.e once or twice a year) balance patches keep the game fresh enough for decent player retention (and provide a stable revenue stream for the devs from players who keep looking for the next overpowered meta to buy). I think this vid explains the current situation much better than I ever could.

    Ideas for Missions!

Just play DM. You can't be on the losing team when there are no teams.
