Have you got enough fee paying players?
RedSlayer_A1 replied to RedSlayer_A1 in Have you got enough fee paying players? Archive
LOL - seems that someone is mad with POWER! There are so many 'banned' players - I'm wondering if TANKI can make any profit from only the hackers, because the only people not complaining about the rebalance (and not getting banned for complaining) are the hackers! As I am banned, blocked elsewhere - I might just come back in a month or 2 to play TANKI; then again - I may not. Red  -
Erm - how do we know who are and who are not 'mods'? There are 'generally' named mods - without a real name. Lolerman247 could be a mod - the only post that I've seen saying that the re-balance was good. Red

@Raphael2 And your rank is.......? Of course higher-rankers want it that way, keeping new players low. The game is flawed - period. Micky3 has stated what I wanted to state (all those months ago), but didn't due to the fact that I saw sooooo many bans for trivial 'offences'. I've learned a lot more about TANKI since, and I have commented that this game IS Russian-based (with absolutely no laws that can affect what it does). I HAVE also advised that if it cleaned it's act up - it could actually make more profit by acting honestly and banning hackers - all to no avail. Well done Micky and I applaud Mizaree for using common-sense and not applying a 'knee-jerk' ban on Micky for 'breaking' an arbitrary rule. I'm here for this game's sake (and we all know that there are better - out there), and the sooner that the owners clean it up - the better for everyone (sincerely). Red

No need, you'll win by default. The language must be English. Red ;-)

Nope; 1 hour to go.

No it shouldn't. This is done so that people who killed the most in the middle of the round will not self-destruct or stay on pause etc. to prevent being killed by the opponent Sorry, but I don't understand this logic saying that deaths and kills are somehow different: Player A get's 1 kill. So player A = 0 death, player B = 1 death. Player A 'pauses' - and wins. and Player A get's 1 kill. So player A = 1 kill, player B = 0 kills. Player A 'pauses' - and wins. How will 'death' counts change the game-play as opposed to 'kill' counts? What's to stop just because 'deaths' are being counted as opposed to 'kills'? Red ;-)

*sigh* - it starts again - people trying to register in here. There are about 6 statements in the above quote emphasising that THIS DISCUSSION TOPIC IS NOT WHERE YOU REGISTER. How about a new rule: people that try to register in the discussion forum are blocked from the tournament? If they can't read, then it's certain that they'll mess-up the battle set ups anyway. Maybe this will encourage them to learn to read. Red ;-)

No 'clue' - no user was banned - just 'hacked' accounts. TANKI never bans ANY actual users. Tommy - NO - perhaps we as end-users should NOT research and do TANKI's job for it. Perhaps TANKI (that takes our money) should release a game that is secure and safe to use. How does that sound? And yes, your naive advice showed that you are 14 years old. Red ;-)

How about answering the question? If you have no DCC and no 25%, $10 = 2020. If you have 25% bonus, $10 = 2525 If you have the DCC, $10 = 4040 If you have the DCC and 25%, $10 = 4040. So, forget the 25% bonus - just wait a day or 2 for the inevitable DCC. (I got 2 DCC's today - one in each account). The answer is of course NO - you do not get 25% bonus when using the DCC with the 25% bonus. Red ;-)

Bad choice (I play with Shaft M3 and Hornet) - can't touch me on Polygon (short map) - I'm ALWAYS in top 3 (and usually numero uno). Red ;-)

Erm, am I being a tad too simplistic, or would it not be better to stop allowing 'unbalanced teams'? Hmmm? I cannot for the life in me think of a battle where uneven teams would be required. This is now just an 'abusive' feature where TANKI 'pros' ensure that they win. Remember, the ranks who can now play against each other have been narrowed - so no need for unbalanced teams any more. Red ;-)

king_beast88: it's ISIDA (noob). ;-)

because the game just came out and because I lost points?
RedSlayer_A1 replied to Valemont in Archive
Tankcraze - very well put - that's what we want to see - a very friendly network of TANKI players. Valemont - everyone else here will tell you to read the rules (thing is, there are millions of them - most against fee-paying honest players. The dishonest, thieving hackers seem to have TANKI's permission to hack (they have never banned a real hacker - only their stolen 'ghost' accounts). They have banned many honest players - well done TANKI. So, the thing is: in the middle of a game - you get approx 3 minutes of inactivity, then you are booted from the game. If you press 'P' (for pause), then it allows you 5 minutes. It sound's like you stopped playing for more than 3 minutes (I've got to say that that is very rude - it's like playing a board game with someone physically, and just getting up and walking off). That's how it works - remember. Red ;-) -
The reason that you hate shaft, is the same reason that warriors have always hated 'snipers'. For hundreds of years warriors have cut the fingers off 'snipers' that they capture. Why? Because one, single sniper can hold an whole army up for days, because the army is afraid to move. You might find it boring - some of us find it 'interesting' to find the right spot and 'hold your whole team up' - virtually alone. Whoa betide us snipers if you get to us though - then we have absolutely no defence because you are 'over-powered' at close range. Look at the sniper rifle; it kills (one shot) every soldier it hits. Why? Because it's more accurate over long distance and all shots are head-shots. Find a sniper when you have a little hand-gun - and he's dead - right? This is war, this is how war is fought in the real world. Get used to it. Shaft is powered right - for a sniper. Red

When you use the vote command to send directly to the hacker and the hacker is a non-existent ghost account (the account does not exist - as is usual in 75% of cases)... a) Where does your 'complaint' go? b) What can moderators do about it - the account isn't even there? Red
-
When there are more than 50% hackers in the game (pretty common) - how does this brilliant idea work then? Red
-
Wow! This is a great idea. Pity that it either does not work or moderators are ignoring it. Hacking is WORSE THAN EVER! 50% of players must report the hackers!!!! Pfftf - they simply change the hacker within seconds with another 'ghost' hack account (which incidentally - mods can't touch). And remember - in most games 50% of players ARE hackers. This is a complete and utter pretense at combating the endemic TANKI hacker issue. Red

Same problem here. I've tried many things and TANKI is still impossible to play for more than a few minutes. Something has changed, because it's played fine for the last 6 months. I've disabled the multi-flash plugins (in various combinations) - used Chrome's flash then external flash. Re-installed Chrome. All to no avail - with TANKI. Other flash games play fine. I'll try and play again in a few months - maybe TANKI updates will resolve this. (This is a shame, because I generally play nothing but TANKI). Red :(

OK - here's my starting lyric line: "TANKI takes my cash and support is trash; but Russia's where it comes from..." next!.....

@skitee I think that the rules should be clarified a little: "During that particular week, all teams have to play their challengers before the next Monday." Challenger(s) make's it seem like you can be challenged by more than one team per week. After re-reading all of the rules, it is clear that there will be 2 matches per week for each country team: one as a challenger, one as challenged. However, if you are challenged by more than one team - how is the challenger chosen? First challenger always, or whichever the challenged team chooses? Red ;-) p.s. Can the rules be refreshed on the topic start page - rather than just here?

Good advice Death - can't get simpler than that - I can't add anything to it - spot on. Red ;-)

Ok -I keep hearing about a 'sale' in February. Is this correct? If so, is there any official postings anywhere (I can't find any). Thanks, Red ;-)

I think that the main point here is that because of MULT and ISIDA hack cheats - you can work hard and be skillful for an hour or 2 in a single game, NEARLY get to the point of winning a satisfying amount of crystals, then some hack (or organised team of cheats) come in and steal it all in 10 minutes. I can not understand fair-minded players who attempt to justify this atrocious situation. Every time it is raised however; mark my words - someone attempts to defend it. This is of course theft, and although I understand that there are only a finite number of developers etc - it would be better for the devs to concentrate on making the game more cheat-proof, than making it look prettier (e.g. 'snow' maps etc). As a software developer - I favour 'function' over 'form' any day (better it being ugly and works - rather than pretty and only 'looks like it works' and /or has major bugs). If the map system works like others (such as Unreal Tournament) then the map is formed out of a 'solid' block - it should not have 'space' inside a building to enable 'sprites' (tanks) to enter. Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong with that (different with 'Flash'?), if I'm not wrong - who designed these maps and took the large amount of extra effort to form spaces inside buildings; and for what reason? The MULT cheating is SIMPLE to solve - no problem - no huge outlay, simple logic can 'catch-out' 90% of this, and even automatically warn / ban players that do it (so little manual employee intervention will be required). This MULT and ISIDA hack cheating is endemic in TANKI - no-one can argue against that (I experience it in probably 75% of all maps I play). And yes - it massively detracts from the enjoyment of an otherwise great game. I could enjoy it 100%, but due to cheats - I enjoy it only 25%: what a waste. It seems to me that maybe the UK has a different culture of 'fair play'. If this game was being run by a UK company - the company would have been investigated by now by Trading Standards due to the kids being ripped-off (by the cheats - not by TANKI Online). The company would then be forced to re-evaluate their 'priorities'. Look at it another way: if I could get the funding, and developed and released a similar game (with good cheat traps etc) - which game do you think the 8 million members would play - mine or TANKI? It make's good business sense to sort this mess out, but somehow; such cheating does not seem to be a priority to TANKI Online. (And by that, I mean PRIORITY; 'snow' maps are definitely not a feature that I would regard as more important than anti-cheat measures). It would be a real boon for TANKI Online if it gained more UK / European players, alas - with it's reputation - that will not change anytime soon. That's my penneth-worth (and for the sake of TANKI Online - because I really do like this game). As for becoming a paid game; I don't agree - the balance from that perspective is good as it is (I do pay for crystals anyway - my choice), allowing others to not pay if they wish is a good business model.
