Actually; warga33712 is not warga12312 and if the name was a game rule problem - it would not have allowed you to register it. So - no technical problem. However, you are obviously intentionally taunting warga12312 (you couldn't possibly have created this name format without forethought), and mods could clearly block you if they wished - based on the fact that you are intentionally trying to cause conflict. Personally - I'd block that account (and your true account for a week - from your IP address). I'd discard that account personally (or never use it) - up to you. Red

As a UK national, I would not be taken in by this due to: 1) "The test version Tanks Online 2.0" - poor English. 2) "The test version Tanks Online 2.0" - It should be TANKI online (not TANKS) 3) "Specify the data of your account in << Tanki Online >>:" - Poor English grammar. 4) The general quality of the entry screen is obviously amateurish. I suspect that only very young (or old) players fell for this. I suspect that a young person produced this scam - it is extremely amateurish. I KNOW that that the scammer was NOT English. (I haven't shown the correct English terms for obvious reasons). RedSlayer

Is there any chance of a table that describes what the 'anti-cheat' measures have attempted to combat? Better that TANKI has a forum that officially recognises a type of cheat that IS happening, with a 'spreadsheet-like' table with tick-boxes where TANKI has amended code in an attempt to stop a type of cheat (and maybe another symbol that states that a particular cheat is being investigated). This will give TANKI players confidence in the fact that something is being done to combat these dishonest, low-life, scum (probably living on social hand-outs). The same forum should also have a table of blocked players - with reasons for being blocked. This way, many players know of a player name that has secondary accounts, and can inform MODS so that secondary accounts can be watched closely and blocked also. Display the culprits and allow the players to name and shame. Redslayer

TANKI - STOP the cheating - or else no Europe!
RedSlayer_A1 replied to RedSlayer_A1 in TANKI - STOP the cheating - or else no Europe! Archive
The upshot is this: If TANKI think that they can survive without Europeans - maybe they are happy with a cheat infested game and the profits from non-European countries. In effect, this game must be blocked from European payments - as TANKI are not showing that they think that cheating in this game is an issue. It IS an issue when European teens are spending their pocket money - only to be stolen by non-European adults that have infiltrated this game with hacked software cheats. TANKI - this game has to be cleaned-up. Here's what I sent to an official TANKI moderator: Hiya Bruce, Firstly, I love this game - (I am a 48 year old systems analyst / software developer - not a 15 year-old) - it's brilliant to unwind with. I needed to be clear on that because I have serious issues with how the game is being managed (at a business level), and I would want to be taken seriously. I have responded to this: http://forum.tankionline.com/posts/list/98107.page#1729216 Every word in there is from the heart. This game needs to survive, but it won't if cheating is allowed (for profit purposes) to persist. Please escalate this to those with authority (if you have none). I really do want to see this game survive the hackers - beating them AND making profit. Simply prove TANKI really believes in honesty and the game will grow from strength-to-strength instead of nose-dive (due to exponential bad publicity). This hacking-hiding / ignoring will kill this game just as it killed Unreal Tournament. I know that TANKI has the data (IP address / login / game logins) to PROVE cheating beyond reasonable doubt when it comes to the so-called MULTI cheating. It's simple really - TANKI knows the MULTI cheats - it is for some reason not blocking them. As for the ISIDA hackers - that comes down to TANKI spending money on experts - they need to spend that money and PROVE their intent to be an honest game provider. Please escalate this - I am willing to respond whenever required. I see many new players stating that they 'believe' they are getting hit 'from nowhere'. The 'hackers' are arrogant enough to respond stating that they are imagining it! After playing only for a few months - I am aware that hack-cheats are rife in TANKI, and are (to all intents and purposes) stealing money from fair players. TANKI is fully aware that this IS happening (if not - they are not capable of hosting a game-site). TANKI - sort this cheating out, and be SEEN to be sorting it out. Yours is a great game - don't expect thieves to use your game to steal from other people - and expect it to carry on being popular. Unreal Tournament basically died becasue of this. Kind regards, Redslayer -

I've got a game-play complaint. I know that game-players are very inventive, and can't always be blocked from 'cheating', but here are my observations after playing for a month (and reaching Warrant 3). The CTF (unbalanced team) maps (following a game) seem to reset the new map, in accordance with the previous game. E.g. If the game was 20 versus 2: the new game resets this - yet again to 20 versus 2. This is an obvious cheat by 'clans, or unofficial 'groups' in order to raise their win rates. I would like to suggest that if it is obvious that a concerted / organised set of players do this on a regular basis - then they are individually stripped of their personal rank. I can not understand the option to allow 'unbalanced' teams in ANY scenario anyway - WHY is this an option? Also, on a game reset - it should start from 0-0, with all re-entering, regardless of 'unbalanced'. This is a flaw in the game settings, allowing organised members to cheat. Red.
