There might be a virus in your computer, I'd suggest you to re-install your windows, get a anti-virus and play tanki on either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. If these steps don't help you with your problem then there might be a fault in your monitor which is causing it to flash.

Yes, definitely I agree that despite being higher in stats firebird is rarely used, the reason of that I think is in drug wars, etc you're mostly looking to slow down your enemy so it gives you efficient time to kill them, but on the other hand, firebird is the complete opposite, it burns your enemy but doesn't slow them down, I myself have purchased both Freeze and Firebird m3, but I mostly use Freeze in battles due to its freezing affect.

You can't stop players from drugging, I'd suggest try playing different battles where there are less or no druggers or play PRO battles, I know it does cost 5,000 for the pass or 500 for joining a battle but it's worth it.
