Try clearing your computer's registries etc with CCleaner, otherwise, this internet connection is just too poor to run anything. With local servers, your PING shouldn't go over 25 with a wireless connection, it shouldn't really be over 15 with a wired connection.

++++ Agreed, tanki was rated 6+ at a time, but all age ratings have been removed... back then forum was rated to be 16+, even though the content is still fine for 10 year olds.

The mouse control lags, if it didnt lag at all, it would be easier. For new players, they may choose to get used to any one of them, for old players, keyboard control is much more comfortable.

Okay, I found a definite solution to this: Download CCleaner, run it, clean all your program cache, clean all your registries, done! From 800 PING to 90 PING :D

Did you seriously go through all that? You just have to go fullscreen for a couple of seconds and return, that's all you have to do... ._.

how can your advice possibly be to get a better computer? the problem is in the game, they'll have to fix it, the temporary solution is what I gave up there...

No, there actually isn't. It's a bug that has been here since a while (since Adobe Flash player 15 came out). Those tips they have given don't exactly help. Anyway, I really doubt that this should have been asked in Q&A since this is a vast issue, should the solution come out, it should not go unnoticed. To the OP; did the suggestion help, or do I need to dig deeper?

That is irrelevant, did you even follow what I said? This is an error in the game engine, not the game cache.

Try out the following: Switch to NPAPI flash player in your browser (as you tried firefox, I suppose you're running it on NPAPI anyway) Go full screen for a few seconds, wait for the FPS to stabalize, then return from fullscreen mode. I don't know if this will work for you, but it works for me when I have FPS lag (5-10 FPS). I heard that another way to fix it is to press Ctrl+Alt+Del and wait for a few seconds (same mechanism as Fullscreen) and return. I hope this helps.. this was the way I fixed mine, but the fix isn't permanent, you will have to do it everytime you join a battle! Give me the feedback regarding this method, in case this doesn't work, I'll try digging deeper into this.

It is possible that the problem is from tanki's side. This began a couple of days ago and it won't fix. My speedtests show perfect results, tanki needs better servers!
