You played a PRO battle, this update did not affect PRO battles, so score and fund distribution in those battles is the same as it has been for a long time. Big sales aren't going to change how players feel about certain updates though. They might be happy for a little while because they can buy so many items, but that feeling will quickly wear off if they don't enjoy playing.

Not many new players coming in. The mobile version is supposed to appeal to a new audience.

That is because your battle score is different from the experience you earn towards your rank. Experience increase is slower than battle score increase and missions work with experience points. But that's the thing, the expectation is that it won't be just a few mobile users. So far, indeed, the update isn't perceived well. What didn't help either were the loading problems and server restarts.

Does this happen in all game modes? And have other players damaged the tank before you destroyed it?

It's important to realize there's a huge difference between cars and an online game. A car you own, it's in your possession. An online game you use. However, that doesn't mean you're not allowed to be upset about changes, nor that you just have to accept them. Meanwhile it's also important to realize that changes don't and can't always benefit every player. Part of the purpose of matchmaking is to make it convenient for mobile users to play the game. How this will affect the overall game still remains to be seen.

There are currently some problems in-game after matchmaking release, the devs are working on fixing the issues, which is why there have been some server restarts. We do not know how long the maintenance will last, possibly up to 2 hours, so bare with us. There may be several more restarts during that time.

Non-PRO battles are not removed, but they aren't visible anymore from the battle list because with today's release you can only join non-PRO battles through the matchmaking system. Press on the button for your preferred game mode and you'll be taken to a battle in which you can complete your missions:

Keep in mind that those 250 points are battle score and not the experience you've earned towards your rank. It's very likely that you earned only around 100 experience points during that battle. I know this might be a little confusing at first, but keep an eye on your experience increase and you'll notice the difference.

That is because you were playing DM, in DM only your kills are displayed and not score. Apart from that, the only objective in DM is to destroy enemies, which means you won't get higher score for performing certain actions (like is the case in CTF for example when you cap flags). In order to post an image on the forum, you first need to upload it to an image hosting site, like imgur.com. Once uploaded, you will get an image link that you can insert into the forum. You're not being shortchanged, although the assumption is understandable, considering this new system needs some getting used to. The reason your battle score is different from your mission score:

It allows you to form a battle group with friends or clan members, so you can play matches together with friends.

The score you are seeing in the battle is your battle score, which will depend on how you contribute to the team (and how much fund you'll get), it's different from the experience you're gaining in battle towards your total experience. Missions are based on that experience and in the latest V-LOG they mentioned that experience would increase slower, giving you more time to earn crystals before you rank.

The Netherlands is pretty much as flat as can be. :lol: The few 'mountains' we have in the south east are not really high enough to climb properly. I don't mind winter, let alone snow. What I do mind is packing for decent weather and then ending up with a cold and rainy week..;p So what's holding you back from traveling? Yourself?

You mentioned..;p Perhaps in the near future you'll find yourself in the position to travel abroad. Maybe even just for an internship for example. My experiences with traveling to other countries have generally been awesome, with the exception of Malta. It didn't have anything to do with the country though, it's a beautiful country. The day I left home it was snowing, so the planes couldn't land at the airport. We could eventually take a tour bus to another airport and I landed in Malta with a 5 hour delay. The day I arrived it was around 16 degrees Celsius and it was sunny. Then for a whole week, it was historically cold, it rained, it hailed and some Maltese even claimed it had snowed. The day I returned home, guess what? It was sunny again, with temperatures around 16 degrees.

They also said that the matchmaker will put as many players of the same rank in one battle and if it's not full yet, it will slightly widen the rank bracket to top it off. If many players are online, this shouldn't be an issue, if only few players are online, it might. However, since we don't exactly know how players will be 'matched', we won't know how well balanced it will be in terms of ranks until tomorrow.

I prefer the more rural areas, like the south-west, or the east of the country for example. I have no idea what kind of things you like doing/seeing though so it's not easy to recommend any places.

It is ready to be implemented, but not finished. As stated in the announcement, small adjustments might be made, for example to the fund increase and gold box drop rate. Apart from that I'm sure there's still plenty of room for improvement of the whole system.

Debatable, you could argue that it's better to be protected against more turrets in the battle at a lower percentage. Maybe someone can run some calculations on the matter. :ph34r:
