Somewhere, in the middle of the ocean, on a forgotten island. A tall man walked in the late wind of a sunny summer day. The moon was about to rise, and the sunset was about to happen. Everything was usual, except one thing, something that the tall man seemed to enjoy, something called- the silence. Everything you could hear was the sound of waves over the sea, sometimes you could hear a little shrub in which an animal was hidden. The tall man kept on walking, and stopped by a tree. He looked at the top of it with astonishment, then sat by it. He was alone, while he was in company with another being. Or, if you count the tree, 3 beings. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You may think, this simply is a lonely person, that travelled to a forgotten island. And you're right, there's nothing to discuss there. This is a perfect example for my theory, the theory of TWO. The man on the forgotten island is not alone. Why? Simply because you're not one. " I'm not one? There is another me reading this theory full of nonsense?" Yep, you're right. But don't worry! You're not harming yourself! And you know what? You're even the best friends of all the galaxy! - as long as we don't find other beings comparable to humans. Alright, let me explain. When you drink your cup of coffee, in the morning, there are two of you thinking at the same time, about the same thing- himself drinking the cup of coffee. Imagine you're an eye, ONLY an eye, no brain, no spirit, etc. You see two people, drinking a cup of coffee. You, as an eye, go into one of them, the brain. Now, may I introduce you yourself? You're the brain, and you can NOT escape from it. Definitely. So you started the adventure as an eye, remember? Well now the brain kidnapped you and you can't escape. The real you is: An eye connected to a brain. No body, nothing else, just you. Now you continue your adventure and see a body, you think "I want that body, it could be useful!", so you go for it. Problem is, you're not the only one wanting it, there, you meet your best friend. Your reason. This part is quite complicated, and only a few people can really 'imagine' and be conscious that they're two. Why? Simple example: Does an animal know and is conscious that he's a living being, living on a blue planet? Nope. Did you know there was another you? Nope. It's kinda similar, but maybe still very hard understand, and I will do my best to explain. First of all, the other you, in the adventure, doesn't come right after you are born. You need some time to meet him, and that's why people say that when you're 7 years old, you've reached the age of Reason. It's kinda similar. In the Middle Ages, some king did experimentations on newly-borns children. He took them away from their mothers just after they were born, and put each of them in an apart room. No one could enter the room, even the particles of sound. They were ALONE. Really alone, they didn't have enough time to find their best friend. They were fed everyday, but without any human contact. They were never talked to. And you know what? They died. This proves that babies simply can NOT survive alone, even with food and water. But then you wonder how people can enjoy being alone, as the man in my little story above. He's not alone, he's with his best friend, the reason. (a.k.a. ~motivation~ (don't take this fundamentally)). Let's be short, if a human would be really alone, he'd die. Why? I'll answer that with a question- without 'Reason', why would he be on earth? Let's take a concrete example to resume this. You're invited to go shopping with your best friend, but you need to study. Your brain (a.k.a. you) will think like he always does, and like YOU always do. While the Reason will refer to how you (the brain) reflects, will make a link with the problem (the decision between going to shopping and studying) and a second link with himself (the reason), then back to what you are thinking about, after, unconsciously, having considered what Reason was thinking about. So it's a triangle, that's updating himself until the decision is taken (by you/the brain). Don't worry if you don't understand, this might help you= Step 2+7: Brain REFLECTS Brain - - - - ^ - - - ^ - - - - - - - - Step 3+8 - - - - - - Step 1 - - - - Step 6 + 10 - - - - - - - - < < - - - - - - - - - - - Reason - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Problem Step 5+9: Reason REFLECTS < - - - - - - - - - Step 4 - - - : These are transfer of information between the Brain, the Reason and the Problem. They are being updated at a speed of +/- 120 m/s. - - - : Transfer of BASIC information. - - - : Transfer of information about the thoughts. Step 1. Problem: Your Brain becomes aware of the problem, and the Problem sends Basic information to the Brain. Step 2. The Brain starts REFLECTING. Step 3. The Reason will take information, but another kind of information. He'll take information about HOW the Brain is reflecting, and will transfer the information to himself. Step 4. The Problem sends basic information to the Reason. Step 5. The Reason starts Reflecting in his way. You have never and will never think that way. Step 6. The Brain takes the Basic information that the Reason just created (in the previous step). Step 7. The Brain starts Reflecting again, with the information he had created in Step 2 AND the information he just took from Reason. Step 8. The Reason takes information from the brain, after the the brain knows what he (the Reason) was thinking about in Step 5. Step 9. The Reason Reflects in his way. Step 10. The Reason sends Basic information back to the Problem. The solution is found when the Brain has enough basic information, created from Step 7, to decide. Note that the decision is always taken by YOU / The brain. Not by Reason / Motivation. Whatever happens, you two will always be together. And love? Love is when your Reason falls in love with someone else's Reason. Then, any form of contact between these two Reasons (human contact, audition contact, visual contact (Eg. chatting), etc.) will have an effect on your Brain, as the Reason will start thinking differently, and by that, sending a different kind of information to the Problem (see step 10). Why? because you Reason has been modified. This doesn't only happen because of Love, but also because of many other things like trauma, etc. Now you know why people say "love makes lovers blind" !
