Six months have elapsed since the last edition of "A Tanker's Life". Hmmm... Wasn't @sirogo supposed to publish an edition every three weeks? Lazy boy! Hellooooo tankers! Yes, you're right, I'm lazy. I've had much stuff to do irl, forum, etc. So I had not enough time to write. But now, I'm sitting here with my fresh coffee, a 4 hour playlist, and ready to write the fifth edition! Sooooo what did we usually start with? Uhm.. memories, memories... Let's start with the ranks up, what do you think? But where's my rank up? Oh you mean that fail rank up? Nah, I didn't lose the picture either the video, I'll post both of them below this edition, in a separated text. So, What now? …Wait a minute! Sooo yes, I started playing this game five years ago! I don't remember the exact date anymore, but I do remember that shaft didn't exist yet, and when they invented it, it was… OP, I'd say . About me: I'm a boy, I live in Belgium, Brussels. I speak French, Dutch, English, a lil bit of German (+Latin and old Greek). My hobbies are: I haven't got much time for hobbies because of school, but when I do, I like playing Tennis, going to scouts and writing. Doing stuff on computer is also one of my favorite activity. About my studies: I did all my primary schools in Dutch, that's how I learned Dutch, and I skipped my fourth grade. Until then, my studies were quite normal. Then I went to high school and completed 4 full years. After that, I changed school, and went to a specialized school, to complete 2 years in one (fifth and sixth year of high school). I'm planning to get my high school diploma when I'll be 16. This should be fine, as, apparently, I'm progressing fast enough to complete those 2 years in 1. I might even be done some weeks in advance. Problem is that I haven't got much time to enjoy life and meet friends anymore, but I can manage some outings with friends, from time to time. At my stade, school isn't a place where you learn anymore, it's a competition between children, where they have to learn as fast as possible, and increase their calculation speed. It's a hard way to live, but people who choose that way can usually manage it. About my Tanki career: I started 5 years ago, I saw an add on internet, clicked, and this is how it all started… I first played with my friend brampie, a Dutch friend from primary school. We usually played together in Iran. Unfortunately, he quitted some years ago. At that time I loved hornet and rico. Then I told my best friend, @MAST0R about this game, and he started playing. We always played with rico-hornet (That's why I ranked with that combo) and our dream was to buy hornet and rico m3, which I have, now. He quitted the game +/- 1 year ago. Then I played with isida + hornet + Dragon paint. I loved that combo, and I upgraded both turret and hull to m2. Those were the good old times, when you bought something you knew that it will be beneficial for sure, and that there's still one upgrade left . I always played in Silence CTF's at that time. Then I joined Clan Elite Killer Squad , some days after joining, I got promoted to co-leader. I stayed co-leader for one year, then, some hours after having been promoted to Leader, I left the clan. I had very good times with my clan, and I spent one wonderful year with my friends, if you guys are reading this, know that I still remember every moment spent together. I'm just gonna put some pictures now, I feel like I want to remember those moments… Soo… Then I made my own clan, called Black Army. I had to close it because of Real life stuff (School change). Then I kept ranking and ranking and ranking… And… Want some screens? :P Then I created many Topics, here are some of them: Perfect Rank Up! , Various Debates , Staff & Co and Tanki Online Debating Society. Others aren't important.That's also when I joined RAS staff. There were many things during that period, but I can't remember all of them… So many dreams completed… Hard to remember… So many victories… Maybe I can remember other things… So many meetings… Maybe one more thing… So many good times… That's life. But what's life? Life is. Maybe that's enough already. Then, recently I joined Facepalm [FP]. (Now closed). I also went to Portugal on holiday. There, I experienced many things. Here's a short story, that some of you may already have heard, that happened to me: Ok so it all started around 22 pm, after a concert, I decided to go for a walk. I saw a flag, that was on a very high rock (+\- 0,5km), and I decided to go there. After 30 minutes of walking, I could clearly see the flag, but didn't know how to get there. Then I looked for a way to get to the flag, but couldn't find any. So I decided to go in a culture of bananas, in someone's property. Then, as I was going back, I heard a dog, and a few seconds later, saw it, 20 meters in front of me; he was watching me as if I was his prey. Until then I had not seen the man holding the leash. For some reason, the dog started barking. The man detached the dog, and he started running at me. I didn't know what to do, so I started running in the opposite direction, and as I saw the dog was coming closer and closer, I climbed on the wall on the left. I was high enough so that the dog couldn't reach me. After some time, the dog went away, and I could continue my walk. Then I went back a little bit, and noticed a small way on the right. I went there, and climbed on some rocks. Now I could see the flag, 30 meters in front of me, and the valley, 500 meters below me. I climbed carefully to the flag, untill some rock broke, but fortunately I didn't fall. I was getting closer and closer to the flag, and after some minutes, managed to get next to the flag. I could touch the flag, made of bamboo, and even managed to take a selfie of me and the flag (although you don't see anything on the picture). So that's it, after that I just walked down the montain to my hotel, took a shower and now I'm writing this... Hope you enjoyed reading this. He was like 30-40 years old, and quitted 3 years ago. & , She's actually Generalissimo (sapphire), but just didn't update her rank on the forum. I met her 2 years ago, with her brother, destroyer. They both were buyers. One day, destroyer's old account got hacked, and he created a new one (). Very nice persons although we've had some quarrels. (Rank is Gismo) I met him in the same battle as Sapphire and Destroyer_26. He's Italian, I remember I had to translate my sentences to Italian and he had to translate to English, via Google Traduction. Then he went inactive for some months, then I forgot about him, until some days ago when I saw him in a battle. He had learned English during these 2 years, and could speak in English with me. Unfortunately, I hadn't learned Italian… Very sympathetic person, always happy and sociable. @F.I.N.I.S.H.E.R I met him when I created Black Army, he was about to create BFM. He's a very nice person, that's all I can say. @A.CEMEHOB Best XP player I've ever met. Could beat anyone. @falcosenna1 Probably my favorite moderator. Totally deserved his "best helper of the year" price. Good old friend ^_^ @Galaxy_Pegauses ._. @Gerben2097 My first clan leader. Very nice person. @marcho321 Been in EKS with him for 1 year, both co-leaders. We were very close to each other (sentimentally, of course). After I left EKS, he took over the leadership. Met him in same battle as owno, sapphire and destroyer, I think. I like playing some CTF's with him in the evenings, always fun! A lot of things could be said… I met Mia one year ago approximatively, when I joined RAS staff. I learned knowing her better and better, during that year, as we were collaborating. I'm not gonna write a whole book about her, but all in all, she's an awesome and very helpful girl. Sometimes funny, sometimes compassionate, sometimes serious, etc. She has revolutionary ideas, but needs to channel them. She'll stay one of my best friends, … I would like to thank you all for these awesome 5 years + I spent- and still am spending- in tanki! I've had much stuff to do irl, forum, etc. So I had not enough time to write. But now, I'm sitting here with my fresh coffee, a 4 hour playlist, and ready to write the fifth edition! Sooo yes, I started playing this game five years ago! I don't remember the exact date anymore, but I do remember that shaft didn't exist yet, and when they invented it, it was… OP, I'd say . About me: I'm a boy, I live in Belgium, Brussels. I speak French, Dutch, English, a lil bit of German (+Latin and old Greek). My hobbies are: I haven't got much time for hobbies because of school, but when I do, I like playing Tennis, going to scouts and writing. Doing stuff on computer is also one of my favorite activity. About my studies: I did all my primary schools in Dutch, that's how I learned Dutch, and I skipped my fourth grade. Until then, my studies were quite normal. Then I went to high school and completed 4 full years. After that, I changed school, and went to a specialized school, to complete 2 years in one (fifth and sixth year of high school). At my stade, school isn't a place where you learn anymore, it's a competition between children, where they have to learn as fast as possible, and increase their calculation speed. It's a hard way to live, but people who choose that way can usually manage it. About my Tanki career: I started 5 years ago, I saw an add on internet, clicked, and this is how it all started… I first played with my friend brampie, a Dutch friend from primary school. We usually played together in Iran. Unfortunately, he quitted some years ago. At that time I loved hornet and rico. Then I told my best friend, @MAST0R about this game, and he started playing. We always played with rico-hornet (That's why I ranked with that combo) and our dream was to buy hornet and rico m3, which I have, now. He quitted the game +/- 1 year ago. Then I played with isida + hornet + Dragon paint. I loved that combo, and I upgraded both turret and hull to m2. Those were the good old times, when you bought something you knew that it will be beneficial for sure, and that there's still one upgrade left . I always played in Silence CTF's at that time. Then I joined Clan Elite Killer Squad , some days after joining, I got promoted to co-leader. I stayed co-leader for one year, then, some hours after having been promoted to Leader, I left the clan. I had very good times with my clan, and I spent one wonderful year with my friends, if you guys are reading this, know that I still remember every moment spent together. I'm just gonna put some pictures now, I feel like I want to remember those moments… Soo… Then I made my own clan, called Black Army. I had to close it because of Real life stuff (School change). Here's a short story, that some of you may already have heard, that happened to me: Ok so it all started around 22 pm, after a concert, I decided to go for a walk. I saw a flag, that was on a very high rock (+\- 0,5km), and I decided to go there. After 30 minutes of walking, I could clearly see the flag, but didn't know how to get there. Then I looked for a way to get to the flag, but couldn't find any. So I decided to go in a culture of bananas, in someone's property. Then, as I was going back, I heard a dog, and a few seconds later, saw it, 20 meters in front of me; he was watching me as if I was his prey. Until then I had not seen the man holding the leash. For some reason, the dog started barking. The man detached the dog, and he started running at me. I didn't know what to do, so I started running in the opposite direction, and as I saw the dog was coming closer and closer, I climbed on the wall on the left. I was high enough so that the dog couldn't reach me. After some time, the dog went away, and I could continue my walk. Then I went back a little bit, and noticed a small way on the right. I went there, and climbed on some rocks. Now I could see the flag, 30 meters in front of me, and the valley, 500 meters below me. This is an unsolvable problem. Do you know how many players there are in Tanki? And can you imagine how many different languages are spoken, daily, in the tanki online chat? So making a video in 100+ languages, and forcing every player to see it, understand it, and respect is almost impossible. Making a new rule prohibiting such demands woulb be pointless. I'm afraid, my dear, that the only solution for you woulb be to turn the chat off.
