    The Robbery

The Robbery It all started on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I was busy doing nothing on my bed, thinking about what I could do, when I decided I’d go for a walk in town. Just before leaving home, I opted for biking instead of walking. After 10 minutes of biking I arrived in the centre of my town, where all the shops were. As I had some money left in my pocket, I decided I would put that money in bank. But then, as I entered the bank, I noticed something was going wrong. There was no one inside, and I could hear some noise coming from behind the door where a sign with the inscription ‘Staff’ could be seen. It’s when I heard the first scream that I realised what was going on. The bank was being robbed. The thieves probably entered like normal civil, waited for the bank to be as empty as possible, then started to gather everyone in the staff room. They pulled out their gun, which made that woman scream, which made me realise what was happening. Once that was all clear in my head, I walked to the staff door and listened. I could hear them talking but couldn’t understand what they were saying. I was afraid one would come out of the room and find me behind the door. Thus I decided I’d call the police, but my thinking was interrupted by another scream. This time it wasn’t a girl, and it looked bossy. One of the thieves was yelling at a staff member. But then again, I couldn’t clearly determine what he was saying, probably because this time it was too loud. Although that last scream scared me, I took my phone and ran in a corner. I didn’t want to leave the bank in case someone inside needed an extreme and fast help. I was aware I wouldn’t be able to do much, entering there, and facing 2-3 big boys with guns and god knows what else. But still, I stayed close to the door to hear what was going on. As I called the police, it seemed pretty calm behind the door. Police was coming; they would be there in 6 minutes. But damn I mean 6 minutes… Who knows how much can happen in 6 minutes? A lot. At that moment I didn’t know what to do. I knew the thieves would be done before 6 minutes, and would probably leave the room in a minute or three. As I was panicked, I stayed in my corner, waiting for something to happen. I hade decided there was nothing to do. Entering the room for a potential rescue was unthinkable, and running outside to grab people’s attention would be stupid, as they would most likely try to rescue the staff members and that could end up in wounded and probably deaths. So that’s the awkward moment when you are waiting for the police to arrive. After 3 minutes, as I had planned it, the thieves left the room. They ran and passed by me. They didn’t say anything nor did anything special: they just ran away. They seemed too focused on escaping to give attention to me. The bank had been robbed, and I couldn’t do anything. I was a witness of the scene. As I watched the thieves running away, the screams of the staff that was leaving the room at the same time were disturbing me. You could see at their face they just lived a shocking scene… a scene they will probably never forget, I thought. I don’t know what happened in that room and probably never will, although I could guess it for myself. Let’s resume; Thieves entered the bank few minutes before me. Who knows, if I had thought about going for a walk a minute or 2 earlier, on my bed, I’d have been in that room as well. And if I had walked instead of biking, I wouldn’t have been concerned by the rubbery. The thieves gathered everyone in a staff room, to not be disturbed. Once inside, they pulled out a gun to get their answer faster. What answers? Probably a code for some high security locker full of money. Well I guess that’s how it usually goes. Afterwards, they left the room running as fast as they could. The weird thing is they didn’t have any bag with them, a bag that should be filled with money. But no, nothing, I guess they were looking for information. But what information could be more important than money to thieves? Information related to a future robbery…

Creative Writings: A Collection of Pieces

Creative Writings ———————————————————————————————————————— It all happened really quickly. Only few people were realising what was happening. I personally wasn't. All I could see was darkness becoming darker and darker. Nobody had predicted it. We were not prepared for that. Even the scientists had not seen it coming. What happened was still very mysterious to us. We never really had had interest in it and yet it was our destiny. Chaos. Apocalypse. Words are missing. Nothing is able to define earth being swallowed up by a black hole. ———————————————————————————————————————— 1. I woke up today and 2. As I was about 3. To catch my phone, 4. A dark lightning 5. Flooded the inside 6. Of both the room 7. And the inside of my body. 8. It was darker than dark 9. But yet it was lightning. 10. It drove me through 11. The whole entity of 12. The whole world hosting 13. Whole entities of humans 14. And its holes. Flaws, qualities, 15. I could feel them all. I could 16. Percieve them all. But yet 17. It felt normal. As if nothing 18. Was wrong. But what’s wrong 19. And what’s right? All I met when 20. Waking up is… Life. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. I woke up today and 2. Could feel the thirst of 3. My throat like a nail 4. In my neck. Work was 5. Calling me the way a child 6. Calls his mom. 7. Working hard as if 8. My life depends on it. 9. I could just run away 10. And live on my own, but no. 11. They threw me a bottle 12. Half-filled with water 13. Which my throat made me drink 14. In one gulp. I’d love to 15. Think the way the bottle 16. Was half filled, but 17. Something inside made 18. Me think the way the bottle 19. Was half empty. As if… 20. optimism was strictly forbidden. ———————————————————————————————————————— Whatever the hell is going on Whatever you are doing Wherever you are Whoever you are and whoever you want to be Whatever you want to do Whoever you want to love Whatever you are aiming for Please don’t forget Don’t forget For your own soul’s sake For every single entity’s presence Where you came from And if you know what’s going on If you know what you’re doing If you know where you are If you know who you are and who you want to be If you know what you want to do If you know who you want to love If you know what you are aiming for And if you know where you came from Then old friend What in heavens’ name is going on? ———————————————————————————————————————— More coming soon…

    Poem - Those

Those Looking through the window And as the time goes by But never running low We remember the sky Gone like a leaf in the wind And never coming back Abandoned by all We will survive To truly be the yield Of a proud producer As mysterious as Nasza’s stripes As if they would never find out Never notice Never know Never discover We will observe Glowing like a fire’s blade Brand new, sparkling like thunder But yet more than half empty Even diverting optimism Atomically dense Strangely casual Occasionally stupendous We will conquer Bedazzling flooding afloat Dreams shared through souls Hearts suffocating from love Astonishment hanging around Like a wolf hangs around woods Like a fox hunting his prey Like butterflies’ migration We will disappear
