"No-kill" rule during gold box drop

Hehehe I caught a Women's day 3000 crystal Goldbox and I KILLED enemy tankers! I have no regrets and am so happy right now! :D

    Let's Discuss Isida!

Isidas are the best! I always thank my fellow Isida healers every time they heal me. They help your team win battles and occasionally, I will use it myself. If your team has Isida and the other team don't, your team is most likely to win.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

M3 Shaft is still good at my rank. The only tanks that give any trouble are ones with a specific paint against shaft (Winter, Jade). Then again, that can be said for any turret. You do have to MU to keep it relevant since it unlocks relatively early compared to other turrets, but if you stick with it, you can get to M4 early. I have 40 MUs on mine and it gets the job done. It can kill light and medium hulls easy, while damaging heavy hulls a lot. If you fight druggers, it is one of the most efficient weapons to kill them since all you need is DD. Many cases, you can shoot down drugger with all 3 supplies activated and kill them with DD before they even get a chance to repair.

    Let's discuss Wasp!

Yep, just zig-zag across cover, use alternate routes, get the jump on a poor tanker below, get DD and nitro drops. etc. It takes more effort as ranks get higher, but it trains your dodging, circling, and aggro skills up so much!

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

I like to use smoky in a heavy hull such as Mammoth or Titan and use it as a midfield battering ram to create a breakthrough into the enemy base. You are hard to kill, so you can deal a good amount of DPS into your enemies.

    Let's discuss Wasp!

If you are very skilled tank driver and very accurate, you can totally dominate with an alt account with Wasp Smoky. Most people don't pickup supplies or turn their turrets, and they get totally wrecked! Against people around my rank though, it becomes a little trickier since people are fast enough to keep up and accurate enough to hit you. However, you can still be very successful in putting pressure into your enemies by taking flags and attacking from weird angles.

    Let's Discuss Firebird!

I recently played a match in kungur where I used M3 Firebird (7/50 MUs) M3 Hornet (41/50 MUs) and when I ran into a DD and a Nitro, I can kill most tanks My rank and lower within a second! Without the pickups, I still killed them in a few seconds! Heavy tanks took more, but only needed 3/4 to one full charge! It's DPS at this current state of balance is crazy ridiculous.

    Let's Discuss Twins!

I agree with you too. The constant DPS that Twins provides is great since enemies are always coming to try to capture point.

    Let's Discuss Paints!

Prodigi is such a good paint! Most maps, you will see a sizable amount of railgunners.

    Let's Discuss Equipment Combos!

Average Tanki day for Mammoth Vulcan user: 1. Log in to Tanki 2. Check missions 3. Join battle that is even in score, numbers and having a rank advantage against most players. 4. Be Aggressive, wind up and shoot! 5. Watch everything die. 6. Realize that you lost some health. 7. Suddenly one or two Isidas show up, give you some good heals, and start to follow you like a celebrity. 8. Be MORE aggressive, wind up and shoot! 9. Watch everything die. 10. At the same time, protect your Fanclub of Isidas, so you can be invincible. 11. WIN! 12. Smile about all those crystals you just won. 13. Rinse and repeat as desired. 14. Log out and do stuff IRL.
  11. Bought crystals and kits before the economy change.
  12. I remember when I was in lower ranks, digital was my most used paint since I had to face so many railguns in the maps I was playing.

    Ideas for Game Modes!

I feel like people play more competitively and with more skill when there is more stuff on the line. As far as the duel is concerned, since both parties must agree to the parameters, there is nobody to blame but yourself and the skill of your opponent for losing.

    Ideas for Turrets!

I'm sure most of these ideas will be unheard by tanki devs, but it's fun thinking about it! Oh yeah, with the old physics, wasp used to be very unstable! That is one reason why I've generally used heavier hulls.

    Ideas for Game Modes!

Game Mode: Musical Repair Kit In this mode, everyone loses HP at a constant rate that at the end of 35 seconds, you die. The only way to avert death is to catch repair kits that drop in various locations. The amount of repair kits available in the map will only spawn enough for everyone except for one person. The person that doesn't get it is out, gets a set amount of crystals, and doesn't get to play until there is a sole winner of this musical repair kit game. The repair kits spawn every 30 seconds and nobody can kill each other, but can push, shove, and use the impact force from their turrets for positioning. The game creator gets to choose the music for the first round and the winner of the musical repair kit gets to choose the music for the next round. Game Mode: Ultimate High Stakes 1 v 1 Duel The creator sets the match on whatever map he chooses, what hulls, turrets, and paints are available to use, and how much crystals they want to bet. The person that joins can negotiate and tell the creator the parameters and the amount of crystals they are willing to bet and the battle doesn't start until both parties are satisfied with the rules, terms, and conditions of the fight. Both parties click "Confirm" to show that they are ready for battle and accept the terms. If someone does not like the rules, they are free to leave. Parameters CANNOT be changed if one person clicks confirm, however, the battle doesn't start unless both people click confirm. This prevents cheating by changing the parameters from what they were. The ultimate PRO DUEL!

    Ideas for Turrets!

Turret Name: Flipper Description: If any of you have watched Robot Wars or Battle Bots, you will notice that there are some bots that are designed to flip other robots over, so that they are upside down and helpless. That is my concept for this idea. This is a turret that slides part of its turret under the enemy tank and flips them so high and makes them go upside down! Kills are counted if the flipped tanker dies due to the flip! To counter, you need to be in close range, as in TOUCHING the other turret. If the enemy hull weighs more than your hull, they don't fly as high and are less likely to flip. You can use a heavier hull to counter that, but then you'll have a harder time engaging faster hulls. Oh! And also, you cannot flip your own team's tanks to protect against trollers and gamethrowers ruining your battle. It can only be used in parkour mode to catapult other tanks for some sick flips and tricks! As a fun feature, you can also flip yourself back up if you are upside down or at your side. Very useful for battle and parkour!

    Let's Discuss Viking!

I've had success with Viking Twins, Viking Rico, Viking Isida, and Viking Smoky.

    Let's Discuss Vulcan!

I have M3 Mammoth and M3 Vulcan and that combo is ridiculously powerful! Many Isidas like to follow you and you don't even need to ask. It is like driving a huge mobile fortress of death with support vehicles covering your flanks. You're the spearhead! This combo is also the most forgiving since you have a large health pool in the event of an overheat, giving you more time to shoot and get healed. I haven't experimented with lighter hulls much, but it takes more skill since you have to manage the recoil and you can't use peek-a-boo tactics as effectively unlike smoky, thunder, and railgun. Also, you have less health to stay in firing position.

    Let's Discuss Vulcan!

I know, it took me some time to get used to it, but once you get the hang of it, you'll automatically stop before it overheats unless you have Isida backup, in a do or die situation, or you know you are close to killing an enemy.

How to catch a gold box?

    1. If it's a big map and you are not next to the drop zone, self -destruct switch to a light hull and into a turret with good impact force to help you get on top of other tanks. If it's a small map, any combo will do, though it'll be harder fighting against heavy hulls if your hull is lighter. 2. The safest drug to use is DA since it'll give you enough armor to withstand anyone's attack. Sometimes though, I use nitro if I need to cover a large area or if there is no immediate threat, so that I can get to the drop zone faster. If you feel like you are not in a good position, don't care about the goldbox, or already picked up DA, then use DD to tactically take out rivals. Be careful though, since there is the risk of retaliation and using your repair kit too early. Sometimes for fun, I like to put a mine at the drop zone just to do a little damage to enemy turrets and force them to use their repair earlier. 3. As soon as you see the shadow of the gold box, CHARGE! (Of course, be smart and don't charge TOO early if the firepower is too strong to withstand, instead kill the ones that charge too early and overtake their position) If you are a heavy hull, try to be in the center, since many tanks will sandwich you left and right. Hopefully, this will cancel out all the forces exerted on you, leaving you smack dab in the middle. If you are lighter hull, try to use elevated platforms or recoil to get yourself on top of other tanks. 4. Watch your health, shoot at the person likely to steal the gold box, and get the gold box! If you are out of position and there is no hope, focus on getting kills, capturing flag, controlling point, etc to capitalize on everyone else neglecting the regular objective of the map. 5. Don't be a sore loser if you don't get the gold box! In real life and online, I like making fun of you guys/girls that are sore losers, since I used to be one as a kid! Be sportsmanlike and congratulate the person that got the box. They deserve it after fighting everyone just to get it. Same goes for the winner. Don't be a sore winner and don't be an arrogant mofo! Just express your joy without insulting anyone or not say anything at all. Don't get mad because someone killed you when you said no kill. KILLING WILL HAPPEN! I repeat. KILLING WILL HAPPEN! There is no such rule and it's ridiculous to expect it! This isn't some gentlemanly duel. Get in there, get your hands dirty, and fight for that gold box! Kill when it makes sense to and kill when you feel like the retaliation will be weak. So anyways, happy gold box hunting!

    Ideas for Missions!

I don't know if anyone suggested this, but I had an idea of having co-op missions. These missions should be somewhat harder, but you get help from a friend on your friends list to do them. Rewards and difficulty can scale according to rank, that way you can't just piggy back on a generalissimo and have them do everything. I don't have any ideas so far on what type of missions or rewards to have, but I'm just putting the idea out there. In order to do a co-op mission, you must invite a friend on your friends list to join you in a co-op mission. When the mission is completed, you get extra rewards than what you normally get from regular daily missions.

    Petition - Gissmos in EN2

Go to EN3. That's what I did a month or so ago when I was in General rank. It has more battles with General rank as the highest rank. EN2 is not safe until you get to at least Field Marshall.

Video Games! Consoles, Game Style Preference, etc.

Oh yeah, Grit is so op in advance wars 2. Too much range! Just use infantry for meatshields, artillery for support, an apc or two for defense and supply, and rockets to be untouchable! Yeah that's true. Some of the characters look different between the Japanese and US/EU versions. Nell in AW1 was sleeveless while US Nell had sleeves. Sonja is red and wears glasses in Japan while she wears green and no glasses in US.

Video Games! Consoles, Game Style Preference, etc.

The original one is really fun to play campaign on, but it's a lot harder than advance wars 2! My favorite CO for the original is Max because his stats back then were so overpowered! Approximately 50% more attack for direct units day to day! It's almost like having half of Double Damage activated here in Tanki.
