I think that micro upgrading will just be an option to slowly upgrade your gun to M3, maybe for a bit cheaper and at a slightly earlier rank. Anything more than this and it will be overpowered. For example, I have Railgun M2, and if I micro upgraded the turning speed, it would be the speed of Railgun m3. If I micro upgraded the shooting speed, it would shoot the same speed as Railgun M3, and if I micro upgraded the shooting power, it would shoot with the same strength as Railgun M3. Once I micro upgraded all of these features, I would have Railgun M3. That's just my opinion on how it will be like.

Right now he was tired out and it was a perfect time for playing Tanki. He opened his browser and searched for Tanki Online, reminding himself to make it his homepage later. Perfect! All they wanted was a short story written about Tanki Online. Immediately, ideas began forming in his mind. This would be easy and the prize was a whopping 200 thousand crystals! Forgetting all about playing Tanki, he took out a paper and a pencil and began to scribble furiously. If he could win that prize...well, needless to say, it would be awesome. Two hours, three broken pencils and trashcan full of crumbled paper later, his masterpiece was finished. It may have had a few little mistakes and a bit of editing was probably needed, but this was the best story he had ever written—not that he had ever been motivated to write anything—and Martin was positive that he could win this contest. None of the other players' entries were as good as his and there weren't that many contestants anyway. Exhausted from his exertions, he decided to rest and play a battle. The contest deadline was tomorrow, so there would be plenty of time to submit his story later. He entered the garage and after thinking about it for a moment, decided to spend all his crystals on ranking up to Captain. It was taking a gamble, but that way, when he received his prize, M2 weapons would be available right away. Plus, experience buying was going to be taken away soon, so now was his only chance. Having bought his new rank, Martin sat back, admiring how it looked and skimming through the battle chat. He sat like that a long time, his eyes fixed on the computer screen but his thoughts far away. Unknown to himself he began to talk out loud. “Right now I've got Hornet and Thunder M1. I just spent all the crystals I had in my garage on ranking up to four diamonds." "Tomorrow," he continued, "when the contest is over, and I get first place (as I have every reason to believe) I'll buy myself M2 weapons and a nice expensive paint--maybe with Smoky protection. Oh man! When Robby comes over, he's gonna be so surprised! I can't wait to see the look on his face!" Martin laughed at the thought. "Since it's pretty hard for normal players to get very good garages, I'll be the most powerful tank on the battlefield, winning every battle I join!” This, Martin illustrated with a swipe of his hand across the keyboard, before continuing: “My crystals will begin to pile up, and soon I'll become one of the richest tankers—even richer than the buyers! After amassing a million or so crystals, I'll buy every item that is available to my rank, and over time get a fully M3 garage. My skills will be so great (to say nothing of my account) that every tanker will be aware of my nickname and look up to me." Here, Martin paused as if he was finished, but he must not have been satisfied, for he continued: "I have no doubt that the developers will take notice of me, one of the greatest players they've ever had. Without even so much as an interview, well, maybe just a question or two, I'm sure they'll ask me to become a moderator, and once that happens, even the Russian side of Tanki will have heard my name! When I get bored with moderating, I'll go to Bruce Lunga and with only a few subtle hints from me, he'll step down (I see no reason why not), offically giving me the position of English Community Manager. He may ask me to move to Perm, but I'm sure we can reach some kind of a compromise. To show him my kindness, I'll let Bruce to keep his nice avatar and the ability to update his status -- he'll like that. I also ski, but I am not very experienced, so intermediate slopes are the hardest I go on.

Notice that he said like. Not what is the better weapon, but what you like best. I like Thunder better than Freeze, but that doesn't mean that Thunder is better than Freeze. ;)

Thunder of course. Short range weapons lack versatility so they are boring to play with. With Thunder you can shoot close tanks and far tanks.

I like to camp and defend most of the time, but I also take opportunities if I see them and go after the flag. It also largely depends on which my I am playing on.
