If you can later afford for freeze m3 then go with freeze, as there is big difference in power between freeze m3 and m2, while tiny difference btw thunder m2 and m3 Freeze for defending the flag wont bring u first rank .. so you have to use it in small maps especially silence, Farm, Island, Combo, Waves,etc, before the rebalance i was having both thunder m3 and freeze m3, freeze was bringing me much more scores than thunder, and after the rebalance thunder became even worse.. however until the level of Brigadier and one rank higher, thunder is the best, but with higher ranks .. its just nothing NB: don't get viking for freeze, Titan is much more powerful, easy to handle much better than mammoth, and nearly the same speed of viking..

You are right, with high ranks Thunder loses its power compared to the rest.. and there is no need to upgrade thunder m2 to m3 .. very tiny needle size difference

Paint always come the last.. you can't get a paint that protects u from all guns .. Priority goes for Hulls, followed by Turrents then paints However when upgrading from guns m2 to m3 then half the guns don't need such an upgrade "no big difference" and paint is more preferable, but there is always big difference with hulls

Thunder is good for low ranks.. and never spend crystals on M3 as no difference at all btw m2 and m3 just of 5 damage difference, which is nothing, you can't detect any difference with the fire rate despite what is written, compared to thunder before the rebalance of fire rate difference of 6, now fire rate difference of 1/min which is nothing with high ranks more than brigadier smoky, isida, freeze, twins are the best guns

thunder after the rebalance is a bad gun for high ranks.. and there is so minimal difference between m2 and m3 compared prior to the rebalance Smoky M2 can beat thunder m3 even without critical hits

yup but i found something new about thunder m3.. it can turn around much faster than m2 .. and that makes from it an amazing super weapon :D

so it lets u get higher scores and better reward than others if thats so .. i got it as a gift oneday and i was surprised i was flying high with scores till got rank 1 while wasn't playing better than the rest :/ i don't know if this still applies till now

by the way i guess critical hits rate is > 8%

Until the rank of Bragidier and one or 2 ranks more .. thunder is great .. until ! well the issue in here is about why would u cost yourself thunder m3 .. so tiny diffirence from M2 While look at the huge difference between m2 and m3 with all other guns !

Friends.. i just did lot of tests.. Thunder m2 and m3 they exactly shoot at the same rate ! and there is no much difference with the damage caused ! thats too sad :( I went into battles in Iran .. Twins m2 were the best ever gun .. Not to mention .. most of paints are anti thunder :/ while u don't find a paint for both smoky and twins all together .. u may find paints against thunder and freeze a lot ..
