1. It's a wedding. Some people actually enjoy being around other people, and sometime doing them favors. 2. He got XP because his rank was too low to enter. I guess he wants to reach Gissimo again by playing. 3. This topic has a use - to discuss the widely debated concept of Tanki weddings.

1. I'm sorry you think so. Most of them have personally thanked me for my time, told me what we do is great, and told me to continue doing so for others. 2. I'm sorry you think so. I know many of the Staff members personally, and I know for a fact that they'd do this job without any crystal payments, because they sincerely want to help. Many even don't play the game anymore, some have more crystals than most players can imagine, yet they labor many hours a day because they care. 3. I'm sorry you think so. You've been quite the nuisance in the past, and honestly I see no end. What does dealing with life have to do with this? I'm simply curious as to why you are here if you have no interest in what we do? I'm not bothered by your presence, I will continue trying to nicely explain to you what we're actually trying to do here.

Not a frequent occasion in our community (yet), but maybe this will encourage some of you to "tie the knot" in this fabulous game. Because it's something everyone here should know. Actually people do care. If you notice there are at least 52 people out there who called us to come, and who were extremely grateful for out time and efforts. And by that logic ("we didn't ask you"), none of the things here would be available for you. No one asked the Devs to create a free game for you, no one asked the Staff to give of their time and energy to keep our community safe and fun. We did this because we care, because we want to help others have fun and some good memories, because we enjoy doing it too. What are you even doing here? If you don't appreciate our services for the community, and don't even want to use them (not that wouldn't think a 100 times before doing a favor for a player who's caused been nothing but a nuisance in our efforts), why come to this thread in the first place? That was rhetorical by the way. It is a privilege, yes, but this topic is not the reason. If you noticed there are many new spectators who have received spectator without using it to assist this topic. Therefore, this is a favor. I don't have free time to hand out, and yet I give the few minutes in my day I do have to come and make videos for players who I don't even know. I don't have to, I've had spectator far longer than this topic, and I was given it purely to make the videos I want. Spectator is a new advertising strategy for Tanki Online, as far as I see it, hence the subscriber requirement. In the Russian community that minimum requirement is 2k subs. And pardon me if I seem to be offended, as I am not. I simply want to point out to someone that being polite is a much better way to go about communicating with people - you will always get better results, especially when they are doing things for you with nothing in return.

No offense, but this: is not exactly polite, especially when asking for a favor. There are phrases like "please", "if you can", "if you don't mind", etc. "Do not be late" is a direct command, something you tell to a dog or a servant. Hope you get the point :mellow:

If you will be acting so rude, we won't come at all. Ever thought that we may be busy? We are going out of our way to give you something, and ask for nothing in return. The least you can do is be respectful of our time and effort.

You can't rank to Recruit :P But maybe for this exact reason this record should be canceled... or let's leave it for now... I doubt anyone will wasted their time on alts just to get this record. Besides, it will be rather obvious who is "cheating".

So cute :D Thanks Sparky!!! :) You'd be surprised how much work goes into a single photoshoot/video, and how many things can go wrong to make the event unnecessarily wrong. The rules are in place to insure that we have an amount of booked events proportional to the work force on the project, that things go smoothly. 1. You will have the same amount of fun at your rankup with or without spectator. You can't see him or hear him. If we lowered the rank, we'd get dozens more rankups which are doomed to be extremely unoriginal and boring, while we encourage just the opposite. 2. It makes no difference in what time zone you are, 24 hours before the event for you is also 24 hours before the event for me. If you write me at 12pm utc to have an event at 12pm the next day, I will get the message at 4pm utc+4 about the event at 4pm the next day. 4. There are a total of 50 servers. Just because the titles have been altered to RU1-RU27, EN1-EN20 and DE1-DE3 doesn't mean there are any less servers. If you ever use Standalone flash player, you'll notice that to reach EN5 you have to type in server 32 (27 russian ones + 5 english ones).

config.xml (configuration) is a small file in the same folder as TankViewer.swf which tells the app where to look for the hulls, turrets and paints and how to open them. If you view the file with any text editor, you will see many links, all inside the said folder. So if you want to add a new paint, call it whatever you want, put it in the "colormaps" folder, then open the config file, scroll to the bottom and add a new entry mimicking the rest, of course with the name of your paint to tell the app where to find your paint and to load it.
