You're right. I chose Hornet as soon as I was able to buy Asida because it was a bit faster and a little smaller. Faster to get to my team mates to heal them and smaller makes it easier to hide in small spaces. My Hornet M2 has 1500 armor protection. My Hunter M0 has the same My Viking M0 has 1544. I could use either one and MU it all the way up to M1. But from there, I would have skp over M1 and buy M2. Once a player becomes eligible for the next upgrade, the lower Modification becomes inaccessible. For instance: If I become eligible to buy an M1, I can no longer buy an M0. So, instead of wasting my money on MUing an M0, I'll spend my hard earned crystals on MUing my Hornet M2. As a side note: On one of my lower accounts, I bought a Vulcan after they had been out awhile. By the time I had MUed it up to M1, I was already eligible to buy the M2. So, now I'm stuck with an underpowered M0. It would take a very long time to save up enough crystals to buy an M2 and I'm not about to start wasting my real world money on a game that doesn't care if I have food on the table, if the bills get paid, or gas in my truck.

As a non-buyer Asida/Hornet, many things. Will I be able to even get out of our base to help my team? Are they suicide players without any knowledge of how to play peek-a-boo and shoot? (sit in the wide open spaces while their weapon is reloading, for example, when they could easily hid for a second or two). I have better things to do than to try to keep these types of players alive and then die in the process. While I follow my team mates into battle will I live long enough to be an asset? The life of an Asida can be very nerve wracking.

The first time I went camping in a two-man pup tent by myself. I had heard about a primitive camp area in the mountains of West Virginia, USA at Red Creek just below Bear Rock. There were 8 campsites and I was the only one there for the entire weekend. Silence, peace and solitude. Just me, the crickets......was that a Bobcat I just heard? Yes, it was. I saw the tracks outside my tent the next morning. I went back several times and each time was a different adventure, mostly involving the wildlife of the 4 legged kind.

Sales on Shop paints, servers merged, new paints, and more

I don't buy....Never have and never will. Russia is not very transparent in the trade arena. Until I get a better feeling of where all this money is going, they will not see one red cent from me. When I first started playing, this was a fun game. Not many buyers then. Last night, I played only one battle and quit. I was on red team. The battle chat was entirely blue with Russian. No one on red joined in on the chatter. The entire blue team was drugging like mad, while most of us were picking up a few rare supplies from the ground (mostly from our own base). Tanki is no longer fun, it's more like frustrating. If I wanted to be frustrated, I don't need a game to do it, I have enough in real life. I used to play for hours, now I play for about an hour and I'm done. Now with the merger of the servers, I doubt if I will be playing that long. Buyers Rule!! I concede, I admit I'm beaten...but not dead. Other online games heal me and revives my soul. In return, I give them a bit of my money. -

Americans, I guess, aren't buying enough crystals to help support TO to support whatever it is they are trying to support. So, they put us up against the Russians who are supporting TO to support whatever it is they are trying to support, in hopes we will buy more crystals if we want to compete, thus helping TO to support whatever they are trying to support. If TO isn't trying to support anything, then the staff and Devs are getting rich off us players. Wish I were a fly on the wall during one of their meetings where they try to come up with new ideas to make players spend more money. Or....they are trying to chase everyone else off and make this a Russian game. I have never seen an online multiplayer game more money hungry than this one. -
For the most part, you would be right. But eliminate the problem? The jury is still out on that one. It depends on the types of weapons and tanks with upgrades/modules on the other team. Consider this situation (which I've seen a few times on other maps): Map is Barda, TDM, 8 man teams. 15 minute battle. I was on red, losing team. I started out with Isida/Hornet, but later changed to Titan. The rest of our team had one Shaft/Mammoth, and the rest were Hornets, Wasps and one Viking. Turrets: 2 Firebirds, 2 Railguns, 1 Freeze, 1 Hammer, 1 Thunder. No Strikers. Blue had: 3 Striker/Mammoth, 2 Hammer/Hornet (working together), 1 Freeze and 1 Firebird (working together...If you didn't freeze to death, you were burned alive), 1 Isida M3/Viking. No Wasps. Some of red were using supplies, some weren't. All of blue were using supplies and went in the battle field for more. Red advanced on blue and were quickly slaughtered. Blue easily over took our base. It was like shooting fish in a rain barrel, with us being the fish. They had all the respawn areas well covered. I'll have to give our team credit, they stuck it out until the bitter end, though I don't know why most didn't leave. We tried to get our kills in, but all the hulls were like impregnable steel walls. I firmly believe that all of blue had both M3's and M2's MU'd to or nearly to M3's in hulls and turrets. Top man on our team got 84 crystals. He got his kills at the beginning of the battle when we tried to raid blue team. I was too busy healing and dying (mostly dying) to notice the battle fund. In a situation like this, your suggestion wouldn't necessarily work. The raid/overtake would still have happened. I think, had there been other players on our team, they still would have left regardless of the crystal distribution. After we were overtaken, I don't think we got any more kills, though shots were delivered. Their Isida did more killing than healing. Blue team worked together so perfectly, it's hard to believe they were random players. (Or maybe they weren't).

Unseen players still count as kill points?
Katydid replied to Katydid in Unseen players still count as kill points? Archive
I've seen this happen a number of times: Play mode is non-consequential. Four man teams. Opposing team leaps ahead with no hope of your team recovering. I get the strange feeling that everyone on my team has abandoned me. When I look at the team lineup, one is gone, but the other two names are still there (the same names as when we started), but the tanks are somewhere in cyberspace, no where to be seen as ghosts or otherwise. I try to keep things going as best I can, hoping they will return, but they never do. I leave the battle. Where did my team mates go? They were there, now they aren't. If the tanks aren't visibly there, does the other team keep racking up viable points? I've watched the points from the lobby. The game eventually ends with the opposing team having made a lot of extra points and the 2 cybertanks making no more than what they had. There have been times I've gone back into battle to look around and the 2 tanks still aren't there. How can a cybertank remain in battle? -
If the opposing team has taken over your base and hovering over the respawn areas, why stay? You're just making more points for them and none for you or your team. Almost sounds like multing.

Putting my tank on autopilot while I tend to Mother Nature.

I do. I'm not a buyer, so I need all the crystals I can get for upgrades and supplies. That 84 crystals was in the last battle I played on a losing team. I was in 2nd place. The 1st place got 94 crystals.
-
As an Isida, I go for the winning team. The losing team are usually playing TDM when they should be playing CP or CTF. Or they are not playing as a team, but rather for themselves. Trying to heal a losing team is a waste of my time and supplies. 84 crystals doesn't pay for the DA and Speed I use in battles.

9,999 and 99,999 kills? :o How long does that take?

Map was Serpuhov, 10 man teams, TDM, 15 minute battle and 999 kills. I was Isida on red team. Score was 20-10 red's favor and red kills were racking up fast. All but 4 players on blue team quit. We were fighting over who was going to kill the next respawning blue. Suddenly, we were being attacked from behind. Red team had filled up rather quickly with 3 Shafts, 2 sniping Railguns (who were darn good), 2 Isidas, 1 Firebird, 1 Freeze, 1 Vulcan. The Shafts were Mammoths and the Vulcan was Dictator, the rest were Hornet and 1 Viking. We had 1 Shaft/Mammoth, 1 Vulcan/Dictator, 2 Railgun/Hornet (sadly, they were lousy snipers), 1 Firebird/Hornet, 1 Firebird/Wasp, 2 Freeze/Hornet, 1 Ricochet/Hornet, 1 Isida/Titan (me). I started out with Hornet, but when it became a drug war, I changed to Titan. It became a never ending drug war. Neither side had Striker. Between the Shafts, Vulcan, and sniping Railguns, we were hardly able to leave our base. Most of our team hid behind the buildings, because the Shafts had us pinned down, covering all exits. The red Vulcan, 1 Railgun, 1 Isida, Firebird and Freeze attacked our base, using DD or DA, a couple had both. We couldn't go anywhere because of the Shafts. They were one-shotting the smaller tanks and 2 shotting the larger ones. (They didn't have much life left after the first shot). Both sides were drugging like mad. I tried my best to keep our team alive, but but the Shafts were OP. End score was Red: 100...Blue: 30. This battle was just a couple days ago.

No kill rule? You betcha booty I don't want it. If I'm playing with my Isida, I'll turn it on the pile. Sometimes I heal and sometimes I kill. If I'm playing with Firebird, I smoke the pile. Wish I had Freeze, I'd freeze the pile. That would be more interesting.

The map was Wave. I was hiding behind a wall in the middle hill, constantly healing a player who was trying to kill a very annoying Vulcan. It took some doing, but he finally got him. The player backed up, trying to take cover same place I was. I tried to get out of his way, but he accidentally pushed me off the map. Torva-Messor, was that you that pushed me? If it was, I accept your apology.

Let's see. Ummmm. In school, the kids called you "Tomato head" and you felt dejected. So you dropped "head" and made it DejectedTomato. :D (Jk)

Katydid....My name is not Katy nor did I do it (whatever it was). Katydid is an insect...a night creature. They make a "rasping" sound with their wings. Some mistake the sound as crickets. But they have entirely different sounds. They are closely related to grasshoppers. I don't know. I was looking for a name. The Katydids were out in full force that evening. One flew in the door as I was letting the dogs in. It was rasping away and becoming very annoying. I said, "Damn Katydid." I liked it as a name, but I didn't know if "damn" would be accepted, so I just used Katydid.

In real life: 1)...Friends who *pass gas* in public then turns to me and says, "Shame on you. I thought you had better manners than that." 2)...Liers, cheaters, dishonesty. 3)...Those who misrepresent themselves for personal gain at the expense of others. 4)...Battling cancer for the 3rd time. 1985, 2002, 2016. 5)...Bullies, especially those who make it a life style. In Tanki: 1)...Players who constantly drug to gain unfair advantage 2)...Bullies 3)...The fact that I'm unable to meet the needs of Mother Nature during a battle without being kicked out. Yesterday, I lost over 400 crystals because of that. (This time, I have bone cancer in my leg and am not able to walk very fast because of the pain. Discrimination against the disabled? Put the timer back where it was!!). 4)...I buy a Pro Pass so I can create battles and no one comes. 5)...Logging into a good battle, on the winning team, just in time to see the other team quitting and the auto-timer starting.

I don't make New Year's resolutions. They're too much like setting yourself up for failure or, if not adhered to for some reason, can lead to low self esteem, thinking yourself as a failure. Resolutions are made with good intentions, but are not always attainable. Stuff happens, life happens, things that cannot be foreseen happens. Question is: Why wait until a new year to make changes in your life? If you're going to do it, why not in March, July or November?

I'm not going to get into the psychology and physiology of gender changes. People do this for obvious reasons. So, I'd say, which ever way the change is done, the mind set of the other gender is already there. That's as far as I'm going to go on this one.

According to International Center for Prison Studies, in 2013 there were 213,700 women and 2,492,400 men in the U.S. Prisons and Jails. I'd say the women follow the rules more closely than men. In all fairness, the reason for so many more men in prisons and less women is because men are more likely to commit serious crimes. As a result, men are more likely to be arrested, imprisoned, and have lengthier sentences. Since women are less likely to commit the serious crimes, then their sentences are shorter. Meaning the turnover in women is much faster.

I'm not greedy. I'll take the $400,000. 1st I'll pay off my house, then my truck. :D

Oh, really? Wow. Can I come with you? If one can be a multimillionaire, then you wouldn't mind sharing the profits. Say...60/40?

Are you talking about in real life or in TO? If you're talking about real life, I'd say about 50/50. If you're talking about TO, then how do you know by User Name if that person is female or male? User Names can be deceptive.
