I hail from the Sunshine State of Florida....Central Florida.

No. I saw it up close and personal on a Mammoth and then again on a Hornet (I think). There was no deviation in color Solid purple, very bright. I tried on that paint, but it's not the same. Sorry, I thought you were showing me Confetti. I just went into the garage and tried on all the purple paint. What paint is that you are showing?
-
Twice I've seen a very vivid purple paint with, what seems to be, sparkles. I've looked at the wiki and don't see one exactly like that one. The only purple paint I can find is for Helpers, and that doesn't seem bright enough.

It takes a team to win a battle and it takes a team to lose one. Many times I have seen in battle chat team mates complaining about other team mates not doing their part to win. This may be true, but if you watch how the team plays as a whole, it's no wonder they lose.
-
I have no idea how I would get a picture of this. On highland map, blue team, red team had left. I was an asida. Some of the team mates were shooting at each other. For some reason, they all gathered around me and started to shoot at me. I died. Why? I also noticed that some of the other team mates had lost a little bit of heath. Since when can you kill your own team mates without the battle being set up like that? I asked my team mates how that was possible. None answered, although they spoke English.

I like this idea and wished it would have been implemented a long time ago. There is a slight problem, though. I joined a battle already in progress. The title was in Russian so I didn't realize it was a wasp/railgun battle until I got into it. I saw my name mentioned a few times, but I don't understand Russian. Finally, a player simply said "GO!!" So, I "picked up my toys" and went home. I guess I was in the battle about 5 or so minutes. I think it would be interesting if in the "create" list it simply said "hornet/railgun" , for example, but the map would be chosen at random by the client. Just an idea.

Longest one I have ever played was 4 hours of CTF. By the time the game was over, my thumb was sore from shooting and I was exhausted (it was a very intense game). Some players went on the play again, but i left, I have better constructive things to do with my time. I don't remember what my score was or how many crystals I received. What I remember was the disappointment I felt because my crystal count didn't reflect the effort I put into the battle. I grabbed the flag several times. captured a few and killed a lot. The high scorer on our team constantly used consumables throughout the entire game. The rest of our team (including me) either strictly used the ones that 'chute in or used their own sparingly.

I used to buy crystals for leveling up tanks and turrets. I spent the crystals I collected in the game for consumables. I don't pay into the game, anymore, for personal reasons. However, another player told me that it is possible to keep up with the upgrades without paying real world money. So, I created an account to see for myself. I find it difficult to compete with players who pay into the game. They seem to have (almost) unlimited supplies. I don't buy supplies, anymore, and die more often than when I did. I hate being the one hit wonder...one hit and I'm dead from those who constantly use extra power. Many times I had thought that those who consistently use supplies throughout the game, are unable to play effectively without them. I have noticed that since I stopped paying into the game, my game play has changed dramatically. Playing without supplies, or a very limited supply of them, teaches you how to build skills and to hone them to a fine point.

You're right, but for now, you can't. But how far in the future? That could be tomorrow or 5 years from now or even longer.

There are many everyday words in the English language that do not appear in other languages and are considered or translated as undesirable. If a word cannot be translated or is translated as an undesirable word, depending upon the language of origin the cursor's program was written from, then the cursor will act accordingly. An example might be: The U.S. Pledge of Allegiance was translated from English to Spanish back to English. The end result was amazing, to say the least. There were words and phrases in English that did not appear in Spanish, so substitutions were made and the sentences were changed to suit the substitutions. In the retranslation back to English showed that the meaning was lost and the underlying meaning had disappeared altogether. In fact, they didn't even resemble each other. The program for this game was written in Russian and then translated into several other languages. Sometimes I have insomnia and play in the wee hours of the morning when the Europeans dominate the game. I've noticed, in chat, very few words, different from Russian, are censored out, just proving that the English language is a very difficult language to understand and translate.

This topic has been discussed many times. You cannot sell unwanted items, you cannot reset your account. Tanki makes that decision. The only way you can combat this is to make a new account and start over with the knowledge you have already obtained or do the best you can with what you have on your present account. If you don't want to make up a new account and start from scratch, then probably your best bet is to pick one weapon and one tank and upgrade those exclusively.

http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=163644 Go to this link which takes you to the FAQ. Scroll down towards the bottom under the topic "Crystals." You may find your answer there. It's not based on rank, however, as you rank up you will see more crystal drops. If you are a brave soul that will engage in battles where your rank is towards the bottom and there are several ranks above you, you can take advantage of these extra crystal drops, too. (That is if you can get to them before the other teammates). Oh by the way, very few players tolerates someone who camp under a crystal drop and waits for the enemy to come to them the entire game, which I have seen happen many times.

Sure, I can explain it to you. You didn't miss out on anything. It is as you said "Pricey". The only way most young people can afford to play, anymore, is to make up an account, play until you rank up so high your weapon is useless. Then you make up another account and don't play the first one, but collect all the daily freebies until you have a good supply of power-ups (life paks, extra armor, etc). Play the first account occasionally, but not too much otherwise you will rank up faster than the crystals come to you (freebies and in game). Then you make up a third account, because by this time, your second has ranked up and you're still poor. Got the idea? The only people who can afford to play this game are those with an unlimited amount of cash (ie: credit cards). It's a money maker, that's all. Fortunately, this isn't the only tank game on the web.

Do you think that the rank limits are a bit too generous?

In my other, higher account, I'll play in the battles with higher ranks using Isida, Hornet and lots of life packs (Isidas are a prime target). I like playing CTF with the higher ranks because there is more action and less camping. The battle isn't at the base, it's somewhere between the flags/bases. Though recently I played CTF with the higher ranks and my team was playing like Newbes. I hate Isidas that don't heal. I saw one that was constantly on the attack and never healed anyone, though he was surrounded by teammates with less than half life trying to get his attention. -
I prefer hornet/isida, hornet/freeze, titan/thunder. Hornet has a nice balance for jumping at odd angles and enough speed to surround a tank while freezing or to catch up with another tank to heal. Titan is heavy enough to shoot Thunder from the side and not turn over or knock you off balance.

So basically what I think he is saying is depending on the keyboard make and model, certain groups of keys may not all be able to be pressed at the same time, which might be your problem. If you have any old keyboards laying around I suggest trying one of them out to see if that works. II was researching some of the high-end gaming keyboards. Some of them had the same problems with key blocking and was given a low rating for gaming because of it. I noticed that a couple couldn't be used with the alternate control combos for Tanki. I don't buy the cheapest out there, nor do I buy the most expensive. I look for those in the $40 to $50 range and that's good enough for what I do. I also have read that there is a difference in functionality between wired and wireless. The wireless is not as responsive as wired in high action games. That's why most serious gamers tend to stick with wired. Also in this article, it mentioned that the further the receiver is from the keyboard and mouse the more chance there is for signal disruption. A radio was given as an example. It said that signal disruption between receiver and mouse/keyboard was much like the occasional static you may get on a station that otherwise has good reception. Just food for thought.

Sorry, but you should use YouTube for this contest as only youtube videos can be inserted into forum posts Wow!! I didn't know that. You mean all these videos I see in the forum is taken off YouTube? So, if I have this right, one person or persons does the parkour while another does the video. Then the video is uploaded into YouTube then (up or down) loaded into the forums. Sounds confusing, but then I'm not very computer savvy either.

That has happened to me, but there was no lag before hand. It usually happens when I'm camping under the platform on Silence waiting for jumpers. I forget which map it was, but I had stolen the enemy flag at the same time ours was stolen. When I got back to base, no one was there, so I hid between a building and the wall waiting for our flag to be returned. That's when i got disconnected for foul play. I suspect the server thought I was afk. Since then i found out if I move my tank a little or turn the turret occasionally, I don't get kicked.

Yeah, I know the quote. And, No, I don't get into matches like that. I do it once and that's all. It's usually players who are bothering others, too, not just me. I observe first not just act in a moment or anger or rage. Sometimes people do things just clowning around, but it's a one time thing and doesn't persist. That's why I observe the player for awhile. I only do the pushing to players who are making a nuisance of themselves. Usually these players show their true colors long before they start bothering me. If the player doesn't bother me, leaves me alone, then I figure it's the problem of the other players this person is bothering. In Moon Silence (5 man teams), a player was pom-pom'ing his teammates with Twins and trying to turn us over. Once in awhile he'd head out into enemy territory shooting every which way, targeting no one in particular. Well, you know how long he lasted on those escapades. We all got tired of it and logged out of the battle, leaving him there by himself. Finally, he left and we all came back to finish the game. We lost points and crystals, true, but it wasn't very far into the game. We won by a landslide without him bothering us.
-
There have been times I've "pushed" a teammate, but out of revenge for something that person did to me on purpose. Like pushing me off a ledge for no reason, pushing me into the line of fire for the heck of it, or just making a general nuisance of himself, preventing gameplay, etc. Sometimes other players will help me push him off or into the line of fire. But I don't do it out of boredom or because i think it's "cute." As they say, "Payback is hell."

Here's a scenario that happened to me on another account. I joined a battle that was meant for wasp and railgun, but it was written in Russian, I don't read Russian. So, I went into the battle with Hornet and Rico...killed everyone on the other team. Chat became alive with comments from both sides. My own teammates were trying to block me. Then everyone left. It was later did I realize what I had done. Now supposing you're in a "hide the Agent" battle with just Russians and they decide that you are the Agent (not knowing Russian) you start out on the battlefield with everyone else. Get my drift? How do you propose leaping the language barrier in battle? -
A wasp is meant for speed, not necessarily head-to-head combat. Let your teammates do the killing and while the other team is distracted, the wasp comes in and steals the flag and, hopefully, when the enemy respawns the wasp will be long gone.

In CTF, if you go on the defensive and stay on the defensive you will never win the battle nor win the war. You will fight until you reach the point of exhaustion and get high kill points, but it will be wasted if your end score is zero. On a small team battle, the top three with the highest kill points will get a small portion of the pot. But if you are in it for the XP only, then you are achieving your goal. It never ceases to amaze me seeing a team on the defensive the entire battle. It's as if they are fighting for their right to earn a zero for their efforts. Several times, I have tried to capture the flag, in an effort of trying to give my team something so not all of them will go home empty handed. But died trying because my teammates didn't have my back. When I respawned I saw my teammates milling around acting completely bored. Many times the winners of a battle is decided before the first shot is ever fired. The team who is on the offense or aggressive from the beginning will win the battle. The best CTF I have ever played on any of my accounts are the ones with the ending score of 0-0. Both teams are on the offensive and the battle ground is somewhere in the middle between the two flags, not at the base. In this case, the ones with the highest kill points on both teams will get the coveted crystals. Remember, as you rank up better weapons, hulls and paint become available. XP is easy to obtain, it's the crystals that are hard to get. The initial cost of a hull or weapon is relatively cheap, it's the upgrades that cost. As you rank up but you don't have the upgrades to go along with it, you become an easy target for the other team. Everyone loves a "one shot wonder" (someone who can be killed with one shot). They are easy to spot and will be hunted down for that easy kill point. So, go ahead, play on the defensive and when the other team grabs you flag, sure let them score, don't bother trying to prevent it. (Ohhh! Look at that tank with the blue bar and red flag. Isn't that prettty! Oh and he just took a nose dive over the side. Did he make it? He sure did. Wow such a feat of daredevil. I wonder how he did that. I think I will sit here and watch him do it again and again and again). And you will lose every time. Okey, I'm off my soapbox. Comment if you want. Flame me, defame me, agree with me or not, it doesn't matter. I have said my peace (piece).
