Hi bro 1 ok yours improved. Mine improved - then after clearing the cache - the problems increased again. Lots of "connection closed by server" and a "server under maintenance" again. My burst speed tonight - 22.61Mbps TCP latency 30ms 2 ok I think we've ruled out Java 3 Sorry - I know it as NOD32 - (also I use a different AV to yours) 4 My SCap program is ruled out then I'm going to stop clearing the cache every day and see what happens. By the way, is your Win7 on auto or manual update - and do you have any Logitech Drivers on your PC? Together we can find a solution :) If anyone else, having problems, or can help towards a solution, please join in and post. (no green links tnx) We've tried all the usual remedies so now we're looking at program conflicts etc Mods - please leave this topic open for all to post and together we may find a solution to our Tanki problems. Tnx 4 replying. 1st - any clues, at all, to the cause of your improvement would be a great help. 2nd - go to http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp and follow instructions - it will check your Java version. When you update - let me know new version. 3rd - I need to know AV you use. 4th - Do you have a "screen capture" program icon on your screen? Together we can find a solution

Once a link has been saved, can it be modified, deleted or moved within the File Menu list of links? (i'v tried, but no luck) Hope that makes sense :unsure: And the info may help OP as well. Tnx

Tnx micah7586 for a great guide. In the "How To Run Tanki As A Separate Application" It says, "After the first usage, a link will remain stored in the "File" menu." Please can you add to the guide, or post in the topic, solutions to the problems I now have, after having stored 15 - 20 server links in the menu File:- How can the position of a server link in the File menu list be changed - so links can be put in server order ( 1 2 3 4 and so on ). Drag and drop does not work. How can one unwanted, incorrect or not working link, in the File menu, be deleted or modified. Tnx

Hi Iranian players having problems. As you can see from my previous posts, in your topic and others, I'm also having problems, and trying to find a solution. Please can you post, or PM me, which Operating System and Anti Virus / Security program you use, and if AV is open/running, whilst playing Tanki. Also version of Java being used. (Control Panel - Programs in most OSs) I am in contact with a staff member so maybe all together we can find a solution. :)

If the actual battle was lag free for the complete 45 minutes - how could all my, initial loading, problems be caused by lag? Tnx - but if only all RL problems could be solved with a green link :)

Why all these problems in 5 - 10 minutes? U can't tell me they are all due to lag. 1st Loading of Tanki.com - hangs - then connection closed by server - so refresh Result - Battle list - no green section - but able to enter a battle ok for my rank Result - fuzzy picture - checked cog settings - only 1/2 a panel - refresh Result - server is unavailable maintenance - refresh Result - now got green sector - into battle Result - fuzzy picture - checked cog settings Result - complete panel this time - but only fps / ping and skybox pre-ticked Ticked mip mapping etc - picture now ok. wot a load of mess mucking to play Tanki Looks like 1/2 the initial loading data stream never leaves Holland - the New server home. had a great battle, came 2nd All other sites have no probs - just tankionline I give up - I'm gone until Tanki gets sorted. Thanks for trying to help - and no green links. All my PCs, are high ended andd sided :P After reading other posts, I see some players only have 1 - 2Mbps internet. My kit would go into sleep mode at that speed. Please Devs - we just need to know that you are at least considering, that the cause off all the recent problems, is not at the players end. How can all the, "server is under maintenance", screens be caused by a players speed, PC etc? Just, may be, the're due to Tanki trying to fix things. Hope so. Tnx

Thank you for confirming my speed of 15Mbps is not a problem. My Burst speed is even better. ^_^ Got 4G of RAM, multi core (hard not soft), PC is much 2 young 4 school and has perfect eye sight. Many have just given up and gone away, having fun on the forum or w** etc. Please devs, at least solve the hanging loading bar and continuous "server under maintenance", (which can only come from Tanki). This topic shows that the problems reported by 6/7 players on this topic and other, more recent, topics are still ongoing. The green links, we keep getting, are not solving the problems - we just go away when nothing gets done. We need to know Tanki devs are working to solve our problems. Tnx

Tnx agn Jtipt - all these green links I keep getting, telling me to clean cache, have just added to the problems then. I have 15Mbps, 7X your ok speed, and i've just been told to get better internet and given another green link to reduce lag. :lol: Surely 15Mbps, and thats on a bad day, should give me perfect Tanki without any problems.

a) can u remember which topic - or which mod b ) are u saying my 15Mbps (20M on a good day) is toooo slow to run Tanki :$

Please, how do u know mods/devs are working on it? I do hope you are right because How to reduce lags is not the solution this time, even 15Mbps is no good.

Lots of problems at the moment - hopefully Tanki is trying is trying to find out whats causing them - your prob could be caused by whats causing all the other problems at the moment. Problems for 10 - 14 days now.

Yes I get problems for 10 - 14 days and my internet is:- Download 14.14Mb/s Upload 0.81Mb/s Ping: 22 ms (tested 5 minutes ago - get up to 20Mbps at night) I have lost count of the green links I've been given - still got problems. Had high hopes of the server move to Holland - its worse now. My download is nearly 10 times yours in Iran and I still get problems. So internet speed is not causing all the problems. Or is mine too fast, :lol: - joke

StormBringer1995 I know you mean well but please stop posting your green links - there is more to being a mod then green link posting and demanding peeps read stuff they may not understand. Please stop a moment and read the 1st post, (its about updating the standalone version 11 to 13), also the answer to my problem has been already given by Jtipt.The.Killer in post 10. It says "Download the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player." that is not the Standalone version. I have read the page and can not find the needed update - does it even exist on this page - if at all?
