    Ideas for Turrets!

    I have 7 ideas for New turrets, and the names are subject to change. 1: Pound Range: Inbetween Isida and Guiderail (<- another new suggestion that is bested in range by Hammer) Features: Sticky grenades fired from a set of 4 rotating barrels that stick to the enemy's tank and blow up after a set period of time (5 seconds) The barrels work in an unusual way. With all of them loaded, when space is held down they will all be fired relatively quickly. The top barrel will fire first, then the stack of 4 barrels will rotate around 1/4 turn to fire the next barrel, then the 3rd and 4th. Once the barrels are empty then they will all be reloaded. But they can only be reloaded from the lower position. If you don't get it think of it like a clock. The Barrels are a 4 pronged hand that moves around the clock. At 12 the barrel in that postion can be fired. And 3 the empty cartridge is ejected (For Tanki X) and at 6 it is reloaded, but only if the barrels are not moving. So if you hold down space then they won't be reloaded until all 4 are empty then it will automatically reload them all. You would also be able to engage the full reload by double pressing space.     Message to Moderators: With all respect I would like to point out that I was going to post this in the Turrets and hulls category but it won't let me. And that I may also post this in ideas and suggestions. Please read and allow people to reply before you close this within less than 3 hours of me posting it. Cheers Issue: Currently Vulcan is in a state of confusion. The fire rate of the turret is unspecified and contradicts itself. The sound Vulcan makes when firing is only about as fast as 700 or less Rounds Per Minute (RPM) whereas the speed at which the turret spins is consistent of that of a gun that fires at 3000 RPM, and the amount of rounds you can see flying through the air would equal about 250 000 RPM. Also if you turn your Vulcan turret fast enough, you will notice that all the rounds move in the same perfectly straight line. Which means the rounds 100 metres away from you will fly several metres to the right or left when you turn your turret. Which is obviously, unrealistic. Proposal: My proposal is quite simple. This could be done in Tanki Online, or left as a feature for Tanki X, or done in both. It is to first of all fix the contradiction with the fire rate of Vulcan. Level it out to 5000 rounds per minute or around there, as that is an achievable rate. And second, as a fix to the latter problem, to make it so when every your Vulcan turret is moved, it "breaks" the bullet chain and that bullet chain will then disappear when the last bullet after the break hits the target. This would make it possible to "break" the bullet chain into multiple sections that all travel the same direction that they left the barrel at. So it would be more realistic. This could lead to lag but it would hardly be much considering Tanki can continue to function even when there are 20 Twins all shooting at once, making many more sprites. I hope you take my ideas into consideration (I am talking to everyone here) and vote for these changes to be implemented, or at least further research into the subject. You have done a good job with Vulcan so far, the only thing more I can ask for is up and down gyroscope action as well as "suspension" gyroscopic effects when you run over a bump.   3. Twins is too OP. Somehow an M0 twins and M1 Viking (with black paint and no supplies) managed to destroy my full health, double armoured M1, 50/50 micro-upgrades (319.9 hp [638.8 with double armour]) mammoth, and my smoky M1 with 46/50 micro upgrades. This happened at point blank range, I didn't miss a shot and somehow he could deal 638.8 hp with M0 equipment before I could deal less than 300 hp with M2 level stuff. Makes sense? No.

    these days dumbo, when you fully micro upgrade a turret or hull, it is 100% off, which means it's free. If you want to not micro upgrade your equipment then you will have terrible items all the way until you can get the next modification

    What you mean M1 is no good? It is boss, I have it 25% micro upgraded and it is the destroying machine - although not as good as M2...

All guns will never be perfectly even in different people's minds, a perfectly e en game would be boring because everyone would destroy anyone they are fighting and it would be impossible to capture flags, guns like shaft, firebird, vulcan, thunder and isida may seem OP but if you ever use them you will know they are frustratingly annoying to use and they don't seem all that good. Smoky is a little iffy though, I have it M1 with 25% micro upgrades on all perimeters and mammoth M1 with 2 perimeters fully upgraded and every other one at least 25% complete, but I must say that is is pretty good: It can 4 shot Hornet M0, and 5 shot M1 - with double power it goes it insta kill mode 3 shot wasp M0 and I use mammoth M1 with 271 HP and M2 level speed and turning. This makes for a fortress and I lasted in the blue teams base (using double armor and one repair kit) for about 40 seconds against fully M1 twins and dictators (even an M2 isida and railgun) so having a total of 1000 HP was a pretty big thing but I don't think it is OP, if you invest a lot into micro upgrades and only stick with one combo, you end up with lots of supplies, good gear better paints and more crystals.

    1. Use a heavy hull, I have found that Titan works very well with it 2. Keep a distance from your enemy, this will make them less likely to hit you 3. There is generally enough charge before you over heat to kill wasp to hunter, for Vikings and above, stop when you run out, hide, start rotating your barrels again the come out ans shoot them 4. Use firebird protective paints, they will protect you from the overheating and allow you to fire for longer 5. Make use of it's special ability, go out in huge fire fights and kill tanks in a sequence of lightest to heaviest 6. If you are playing with a friend, get them to use freeze or isida and get them to follow you and stop you overheating 7. Use In and defencive-mid/camping role. 8. Park yourself away from the line of fire and stop tanks heading through a choke point There are your tips
