Alright, thanks!

You almost made an entire article without ranting about the community! Almost. All caps too in places. Nice. But still, you should get credit for taking both sides into account, so, points there. Comparing buying a $120 a year subscription of a simplistic browser game to buying a modern gaming console is a little messed up though. It's like comparing a spaceship to a 1970s Cessna plane. One is obviously worth more. Especially when you put into account most modern, high-end video games cost $20-$60 tops. Some people spend hundreds and thousands. Tanki is just not worth that. The main reason anyone spends that much I would assume is addiction. In my possibly flawed opinion, this article is an improvement, but you could make your articles even better by not making them seem like you are looking down at the community from a shiny golden pedestal.

Make the contests harder. :D

When you don't read the original post.

Kind of smaller than I thought it would be, I heard it was going to be a big issue with all the reporters, but, plenty of contests, so, I'm not complaining.

Weeds out the halfhearted entrants.

I prefer not to eat anything with more than 4 legs.

Get an anti-ghosting gaming keyboard. This is because of how your keyboard is wired, there's nothing you can do to fix it.

Yes. Would you tightrope walk the Grand Canyon for $4,000?

Chop the 101 off, then yes.

It's not a useful thing, no, but, it serves as account bling.
-
I do not see this as a effective method of decreasing player count, but merely a result of putting into practice the previous 3 methods I mentioned.

I'm going to guess we'll get a handsome 35% off sale. XD
-
That would only be relevant if those 1000 people wanted a 75% off sale.
-
Your not my elder. I didn't say anything was wrong with it, it's just odd that you would want such a large sale even with the premium crystal bonus.
-
Hey, at least the one time they increased the battle funds by 5, but the prices by 10 was reversed, well, mostly. I don't know, it must be magic. :o Oh, no. Not this again. XD

Premium Generalissimo wants a 75% off sale? That's just a bit odd.

[Guide]Best Ways to Kill an MMO
LaserShark replied to LaserShark in [Guide]Best Ways to Kill an MMO Archive
If riches, money and fame just aren't for you, and you want to kill your online game, you are in luck. This short guide will show you how to slowly kill your own online game, so the pain and trouble of running your own servers can simply vanish in three easy steps! 1: Make it harder to progress. This is an easy process, just decrease the amount of currency your players can acquire. You can do this by reducing or removing entirely any discounts or sales the game has, if you don't have discounts, increase the individual items cost. 2: Add Wallet Warriors. Rid the game of the majority of your player-base simply by making the few people who spend profusely over-powered. This is a sure-fire way to make anyone who doesn't spend enough have an absolutely horrid time playing your game. This method eventually works on the wallet warriors as well, as when the cannon fodder players leave, they no longer have an advantage. 3: Make it cost too much. Why would someone only spend $20 on your game, when they have the option to spend enough to literally buy a car! Eventually this sad realization catches up to your customers. This tried and true method has been used by many games, and has a very high success rate. I hope this guide has helped you in your struggle to close your own games servers.- 18 replies

What makes it worse is it seems Tanki has been specifically designed to use keys that don't work very well together. My keyboard is the $15 Rosewill RK-8300, it's not bad, but it could use a few improvements.
