Consider a player who invites his or her friend (or perhaps even a stranger) into an Arena DM/TDM battle, and both players use Fire and Wasp and repeatedly kill each other. Can this be considered power leveling and bannable?

What is an average day like for you?

I got the Firebird's High Pressure Pump alteration on yesterday's sale, at the recommendation of other Legends who had it. Here's my review/tutorial. For players who are experienced and have used Firebird for a long time, this alteration gives a nice challenge. First of all, it narrows your angle of attack when shooting, making your fire more of a straight stream than a wide-spread cloud. This is demonstrated in the image below: "Laser of Fire" Obviously, this alteration will require more precise aiming when attacking with firebird. On rough terrain, it will be very difficult to get a lock onto a target and deal consistent damage. You must stay consistently on your enemy to deal the maximum damage, or your K/D will suffer. Maps like Noise, and especially Massacre, with varying levels of terrain, will give this alteration a hard time. As someone said earlier, you could have an enemy sitting right next to you, and you won't be able to hit them, because the cone of attack is so narrow. You also won't be able to hit tanks that are on higher ground, unless you have a hull that can "bounce", like Hunter or Wasp. (Dictator is a no-no with this alteration!) Firebird essentially becomes less of an in-your-face weapon, but it becomes more useful at a slightly longer distance. Indeed, the positive of this alteration lies in the increased range of maximum damage. Look at the image up there, at those concrete blocks towards the top of the image. The default Firebird would barely tickle a tank at that distance, but with the High Pressure Pump alteration, it would do close to its maximum damage! This is where the Compact Tanks alteration couples nicely and makes Firebird a very dangerous napalm machine! Attacking multiple enemies will be difficult, but for those you do get a lock on, they'll hardly stand a chance. Overall, as long as you can keep your aim steady, stay in flatter areas, and keep a moderate distance, this alteration is a plus. Makes Firebird require skill to use. ;)

If any of you are on the fence about the alterations (either of them) I highly recommend it, so long as you have a high-upgraded (30+) M3 Hammer. M2 and below, just won't do, the speed is much too slow. Here's proof of their effectiveness. I have both alterations equipped. Usually I'd be scared to go into a DM with all these souped-up M4 Russian players. Not this time! Even those guys with the high protections against me didn't stand a chance if I unloaded the full clip on them. So long as you know how to aim well enough, you're gonna rock the battle. I haven't had this much of a good time with hammer since it first came out! It's really OP! Get it before the sale runs out! Small tips: If you're using Slugger, keep it on a light-medium hull to turn a little better if you get caught in a sticky situation. If you're using Extended Drum, use a heavy hull so you live long enough to reload! (Unless you're camping behind a wall) And if you're using both, keep a mix of heavy for small maps and medium for larger maps. Good luck out there, hammerers. :P

Maybe for M2. -_- Which I kind of agree there. The Slugger and Extended Drum alterations really shine when they're applied to an M4 Hammer (or at least close enough to it, maybe 30/50), because M4 Hammer's relatively faster reload and turning speed somewhat offsets the negative effects of the alteration. With slugger on M4, as long as you're using a medium hull, you'll be alright, the turning speed is just a slight nuisance. Doubly so if you're used to playing Rail or Shaft. Extended Drum, though, is more suited for heavy hulls, because in DMs, you're not gonna last when you expend your whole clip, unless you're using heavy or camping behind a wall (coward :P ). Overall, I disagree with your review but only because (looking at your rank) you're probably basing it on M2 Hammer, not M4 (which, if you have it, I highly, HIGHLY recommend the alterations for!)

I have ~300K at the time of writing this post. I will guaranteed buy Fire M3 and Compact Tanks, leaving me with a budget of ~145K to play with (I may scrounge up a few thousand more in the coming days). I can choose from the following, the remainder of which will be spent on MUs: M3 Wasp (currently M2) - 109K M3 Striker (maybe?) - 98K M3 Rail (currently M0) - 102K Hammer slugger alt - 25K Hammer ammo alt - 50K Smoky damage alt - 50K I'd prefer to have one piece of equipment and one alt. Let me know your opinions. ^_^

Noooo don't close this topic. I've been having the same exact problem too. It's started today after the server update. Switching from EN to RU servers takes ages to load and eventually crashes after a while. I delete the cache every month so this shouldn't be an issue. I thought it was my sister using Netflix and taking all the bandwidth but even after that the problem continued. Now I'm getting this error too. Geez oh man. :/ What to do? What do I need to download or delete? Some help would be really great. I wanna enjoy the sales. :/
