    A year ago today...

    Congrats, and awesome story :P

    Tanki World Records

I should hold a record for longest time taken to rank from Staff Sergeant to Captain then... Over two and a half years... But yeah, looks legitimate to me ^_^

    Tanki World Records

I can see two valid pictures there, which I don't think breaks a record.

    Do you believe in evolution?

    1. He accepts both micro and macro-evolution, in some form. 2. If someone believes in one and not the other, then that person hasn't really grasped the concepts behind evolution. They work under the same principles. Others already answered for me here, so... ^_^

    Do you believe in evolution?

Catholics are still Christians. What are you, then, so I can give a more relevant example?

    Good bye

Argumentum ad populum. And agreed with everything else you've said ^_^

That's because some of the graphics have been 'borrowed' from various Mario games ^_^
  12. Answer the question that this topic has posed? I already have. I don't think he exists; in terms of belief, I'm a humanist. Answer the question you posed? Well, I agree with you - there's so much suffering in the world because... maybe he doesn't exist? *gasp* *pls no hate ok* Alternatively, there are theistic ideas which would offer explanations, though I personally don't find 'em overly convincing.

Please no. Flappy Bird is really not that good. I don't understand why everyone's addicted to it. The idea's unoriginal, the props have been mish-mashed from other games, and the physics are pretty annoying. Not to mention that it's just some ordinary time-passing sort of game, nothing new or special. I played it with a friend on the bus home a couple of days ago, got a high score of 6 xD

How often do you get angry on tanki?

I don't usually get angry over games...

    Do you believe in evolution?

Is the Pope a Christian? Because he believes in some form of evolution.
  16. Ohhhhh not this. As for the question, no. I speak as a former 'tick-the-box' theist. Having always assumed God would exist, I started to get more interested in the issue. And as I discovered more, I tended away from theism. To me, being irreligious actually offers freedom of sorts - religion comes from the Latin word 'religio', meaning 'to bind'. I am not bound by the restrictions that religion can place upon individuals and a society, yet I am still able understand and support the benefits that religion can bring to humanity. It's likely this'll be closed anyway, and I can understand why. Though it would prove a thought-provoking and stimulating discussion, I personally think this is a step too far. Will we be able to discuss this topic without it getting out of hand? I doubt it. I'm not sure the community as a whole is mature enough to debate such issues with complete sensitivity and respect. (EDIT) Not to mention that, if I'm perfectly honest, trying to discuss religion with *some* people is basically as constructive as talking to a brick wall. Sadly, most people tend not to want to hear another side to the argument when it comes to religion.

    Good bye

OK, as per your first paragraph, that makes sense. However, the number of people who say something doesn't make it any more credible... Players could just upvote a post with a warning to show they agree with its content and support its credibility, right? I just think it's pretty useless for multiple players to point it out when a. It has already been pointed out and b. A staff members has arrived here and delivered the warning officially (hence there's no need to continue going on about it to the OP). Just my opinion, but I kind of see that as unnecessary flood.

    DM is better than CTF

CTFs, definitely. I actually tend to avoid DMs. The only situation in which I like DMs is if there are suitable camping spots, and under that logic, I might as well play a TDM instead. As for short-ranged weapons, I'd only ever use them as part of a team. They just don't work as effectively when alone, IMO. CTFs are easier to perform better in, more strategic, and involve elements of teamwork and co-operation. I guess I'm just more of a team player.

why are you still on tanki?

OK, that's not a bad response actually. I'd recommend that since you two apparently don't get along, you just ignore each other or maintain a cordial but distant relationship - we all have to co-exist with people we don't like, so it's best not to get too involved about that fact. If haider's downvoting your posts in that way (which sounds out of character to me personally), then just ignore him. Retaliation isn't the way to go ;)

    Good bye

I never accused anyone of being a mini mod, and I can see they're trying to help, which is something we should appreciate. I just pointed out that there are better ways in which they can do so - players could inform a moderator/Consultant, who would then deliver such a warning. Their words would carry more weight and could provide a better explanation, too. And looking at the multiple posts about it, surely one warning is enough?

    Do you believe in evolution?

Agreed. That's why I'm planning on reading the Bible through when I have the time without necessarily believing in a God; simply to see for myself the moral teachings and messages it offers, and examine it as a piece of historic literature. Excellently phrased, though it would seem he was talking about evolution in general (albeit inaccurate) terms ^_^
