When using Splash-damage correctly, no enemy is safe from you. It's just most people (Not all!) don't use Thunder to its full potential. Remember, it's not a neat weapon. It's a messy weapon with its splash-damage! If you want neat and accurate, then you're looking for its counter-part Smoky. For Thunder, you don't need to score a direct hit to damage- unlike Smoky!

I. . .feel bad. . . .for you. . . . .because. . . druggers. . .rule .. 100% . . at your rank. . . . Unfortunately. :( Takes all the fun out. I thought games were supposed to be fun. Well anyways, at your rank stick to DM's. Death-match. Why? In CTF, druggies going to come and steal your flags so easy. Even if you lose by 1 flag, fund isn't worth it. If you lose by more than one flag? Oh well, then your reward is going to be like 4 crystals or 6 crystals- 10 if you're lucky. And in TDM's your teammates are so stupid, Isidas don't know how to not die and just heal. And in CP, well nobody plays CP. And Druggies going to kill you before you can take a checkpoint. Tips: Don't pick super long ones with no time limit. Always include a time limit such as 20-30 minutes. Do not put no time limit and lay a 50 kill limit. Believe or not, it takes awhile- especially when nobody joins the battle. Play with ranks equal or lower than yours. Maximum kill ability! Paints aren't that important. Do not buy those useless color paints or the weak paints. Only buy like, 1 paint. I suggest Forrester. That lasted me up to rank Major. Save crystals and only buy on Sales. At your rank, the funds suck. They can go live in a hole. Go for Crystal boxes. Learn how to Kill-steal. Don't get too many M1's like me. You're going to have to rely on skill so much. Remember, it's Player vs Player. People can be really stupid. Strategize! Learn how to flip people. No, not with your fingers. When Micro-upgrades come, don't Micro-upgrade and waste your Crystals. Because when you finally upgrade to the next M (modification), all the MU's will be washed away and you have to start from scratch again. Instead, only MU M2's or M3's. Due to new Physics Update which is coming soon, don't get Mammoth. It will suck. It sucks so bad- that's why if you see in the Physics testing videos, the people don't use Mammoth. It's too embarrassing. Don't get Mammoth. So what if M2 and M1 look great right now? They're going to SUCK in the future. If you must get a heavy hull, get Titan. That's going to be the new Mammoth. If you don't know what I mean by ''new Mammoth,'' I mean ultimate-drug-machine of all time. Don't buy Drugs. Never buy Drugs. Get them from Dailies. Don't use Dailies as soon as possible- let them stack up. Learn how to turn your turret. Explore the Forums. Take part in Contests- like the Halloween Twitter contest. It was so easy, just send a twitter pic along with your username and a message, and bam, free 20,000 Crystals with a chance to actually win some bigger prizes. I forgot the rest of the tips. Learn what a Goldbox is, and look for the warnings. Don't be a knuckle-head, protect your flag. Learn simple Russian phrases such as Thank you. (cnc), or Drugger! (hapa). Always alert your team of a Drugger. I don't know how to say noob in Russian, sorry. Don't take part in NS battles. (No-supply). The pass prices aren't worth it for you. 500 Crystals take you 500 years to get. No offense. Take part in Forums. Don't get Twins, it's going to get nerfed. Who cares if people insult you or call you noob. Just keep killing them. If enemy drugs even a little bit, like using a DP (Double-power), Medical Kit, DA (Double Armor), or anything, quickly inform your teammate that there is a drugger. Then don't be afraid on going Full-drug. After all, you didn't start the Drug-war. They did. Don't ever be the one who starts a Drug-war. First of all, you don't know if your teammates have drugs, and who knows, the other team might have like x999 drugs. Don't chat while battling, That's how you get your flag stolen. Don't join super-long battles. Stay with 20-30 minutes. Don't go full-drug when you have low or damaged health. It's not worth it. Respawn with full health, then without drugs try to get as close as possible to enemy flag. Then rip with full-drugs and steal their flags or kill them. When drugging, try to have a teammate with Isida to back you up. Sales usually come on important Russian holidays. If you have Skype, you could join a Clan. If you are lagging, try turning off Dynamic Shadows, Dust under the Tank, Fog, etc. And clear your browser cache. Try things on Test server first- if it's open- before you buy something. Does it really fit your play style? Ask Forum people for help building your Garage. But don't buy something just because people say it's really strong, etc. That's why go on Test server and try it out. Does it really fit your gameplay? Remember, a game is supposed to be fun. And getting something you find fun is better than something that is just strong. Why? First, you wont get bored- it will last you a long time. In addition to that, since you like the gameplay it brings, you will be able to use it to its full potential and learn some new tricks with it to kill your enemy. And guess what? It will be even stronger than that other strong gun. On a sale, you don't have to buy something. Ok, lets say a 50% Paint sale comes up, but oh no, I'm only a Warrant Officer 4, and I can't get that really awesome paint called Rustle? Omg, but it's a 50% sale, should I just buy the most expensive paint? The answer is: No, and if you do buy it, then it means you have no self-control and is nub. Ok see, a paint like Corrosion sucks and is a waste of Crystals. Then next week, another sale on a weapon comes, and then you realize that if you didn't buy Corrosion, then you'd be able to M1 your dream weapon, or hull if it is a hull sale. Get it? Well you asked for advice. . . sooo . . . -_-

How long do you have to be offline to get the big gift?

If you REALLY want something, then make an Alt and play on it instead of your main account. Use your Pro-skills on newbies. It makes you feel super powerful, strong, and smart! And to you it makes them look so stupid. But don't do it too much, you don't want to lose skill playing with your own rank. -
What?

My post didn't tell him to just leave the battle. The ''leave those battles for hardcore. . .'' part was for future reference. Your situation was different then what I was meaning. That game obviously took more than 20-30 minutes. In 20-30 minutes, the tide can't really change that much. The winning team can usually fend for themselves till the end of the match. 1-0 can usually ensure a win. The only game-changer in 20-30 minute battles would be a Goldbox or an extremely rare event such as 90% of the other team left and were all replaced immediately by hard-core drugging Mammoth/Twins/Freeze/Thunder. Yes, that has happened to me before. It SUCKED! And that's also a reason why I don't play games such as the one you described. Waiting for the perfect teammates to come and whip the other team's behind can take awhile, and remember that timer is clicking. Always look at the timer- ALWAYS. And you're correct. Freeze! But a camping Shaft watching over the Flag isn't bad either. :)

My frustating story. Semyon and the staff, specially for you.

I feel bad for newbies. Using M0/M1 and getting blasted by M2's with super-paints and unlimited Drugs. To avoid casualties, simply do not play extra-long games, or in your case, extremely long, out of this world time limit games. Ok see, I usually stick to 20-30 minute games. Or if I want, 15 minute games and I'm able to play 3-4 rounds- or as many as you want since the time limit gives you a safety zone. 40 minute is going a bit overboard, unless you have a super-pack team full of Freezes and drugs. and 1 hour+ is just dangerous. Furthermore, always keep some drugs available- get them only from Dailies. From Dailies, I always have a full asset of Drugs, able to fight back at any dumb drugger. And really you don't want to provoke an M2 Mammoth/ M2 Freeze to drug. . .:P Remember in CTF it is not my job to kill you to make myself feel better and you to feel worse, but to cap your flag. ahahaa. . ha .. . just run off with your flag and hit a Health kit. . just diabolical .. :D *********Go for Crystal boxes when appropriate. I absolutely hate those noob team members when ''Your flag has been taken'' and the guy with our flag drives right past them and instead of killing the guy, they just go for one crystal box. Or I remember clearly once I was in Silence blue team, guy jumped off a cliff with our flag right? We had a Railgunner, at the cliff. Get this, instead of shooting the guy with our flag, he shot a Mammoth   Goodness Sake, you're supposed to get our flag back! Anyways, get some Crystal Boxes because just in case you lose the game, even by one flag, you still walk away with something. Even losing by one flag makes the fund not worth it at all. . . . ~~~~~~~~~~ Ok see, Tanki is at the Age of Drugs. The Drug Ages. As silly as that sounds. Drugs. . .EVERYWHERE. The best solution is really DM's and Freeze. . . In conclusion, only go for safe battles. Battles where you have the ultimate team, decent drugs, and smarts. Refer back to the paragraph with the ***********. You don't want stupid as heck teammates. If you suspect your teammates are dumb as wood, get out of there. Not worth it. And study those druggers. They all tend to be the same. All ''I'm invincible'' and dumb- at least the ones that drug 24/7. They do not know what the word strategize means. It is not in their vocabulary. Find your own way to kill them. :P I do and it works out incredibly well. I'm able to survive- for now. I just need to see how Physics/MU's do. Those are the biggest game-changers and something I think nobody is looking forward to. In addition to that: When drugging back, be smart. Skills topped off with drugs is always good. .. :P -
Mm, I do understand what you're saying, though I'd say to not give a Sale on Thanksgiving days- or even Valentines day in February. Teaching us a lesson in Christmas. . . that's overdoing it. . don't be a Grinch.

Ok see, there's a big difference between Staff and Developer. . .

Oh right, your nickname was Ninja, was it? Ok I file for Bankruptcy. But I'm not going to jail.

Shaft is going to be a killer, especially at lower ranks. :o You could get it and be a Kill-hogger. Or you could be an XP/Crystal hogger and get Isida along with a light hull, healing teammates for free points and going for Crystal boxes. After you've accumulated enough Crystals, you could get Shaft to M1 directly. Then build up savings for M2 Shaft. . . .
-
What?! Wasp is a ninja!
-
Who said Firebird wasn't good for capturing flag? All the close-ranged weapons are good in my opinion. Firebird -> Kill everyone quick and run with the flag. Isida -> You're regenerating your own Hp for goodness sake! Freeze -> Slow everyone down and run. I think the worst gun for capturing would be Shaft/Thunder. . . for Thunder just block him or get close to him. He's practically shooting himself.
-
Spectate drugs? What? If you're talking about the Bundles, then no. They are already 50% off, the sales do not affect them. They do affect buying them separately I think.
-
That's where the huge HP comes in.

Where are the new physics, micro-upgrades and other promised goodies
r_DidYouKnowThat0 replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
No Free-upgrade. Instead, maybe depending on our ranks we'd receive Crystals to give us a ''head-start'' on MU's or Physics update. Such as, Recruit ~ Staff-Sergeant : 1,500 Crystals Master Sergeant ~ Sergeant Major : 2,000 Crystals Warrant Officer 1 ~ Warrant Officer 5 : 5,000 Crystals 3rd Lieutenant ~ Captain : 10,000 Crystals Major ~ Colonel : 15,000 Crystals Brigadier ~ General: 20,000 Crystals Marshal ~ Commander : 25,000 Crystals Generalissimo : 30,000 Crystals. -
I absolutely hate it when a Smoky M2 with DP gets a critical on my Mammoth M2. Even with full armor, I die in one shot. Happened before, I respawn and immediately get one-shotted by Smoky.
-
Never play those kinds of battles. Leave those battles for hardcore druggers and buyers who could drug for ages. For non-buyers, stick to short matches. Maybe 20-30 minutes? 40 minutes tops, an hour is over-doing it.

My account on there is banned forever.

r_DidYouKnowThat0 replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
Hey Semyon, what happened to changing the ranks for the Kits? Yes, I consider that a ''goody.'' :D -
As you Micro-upgrade an item, the price for the next M will be cheaper. It will go up to 75% cheaper if you Micro-upgrade the item fully (100%). So if you Micro-upgrade a little bit, the next M price could be 10% cheaper, 25% cheaper, or 50% cheaper- it all depends on how much you MU it. Furthermore, when you finally upgrade the item to the next M, all the Micro-upgrades are washed away. Remember that, so nobody acts like a noob and goes ''Omgomgomg my MU's disappeared'' when they finally upgrade the M. PS. Listen to the video.

Congrats on an M2 Hull! :D
-
:o If I won the Consolation prize for the Slogan Competition, I'd be driving around an M2 Wasp right now. :( Oh well. . .I guess I'll just wait for Thanksgiving Sale- if there is one.
-
Wait for Rustle.
-
But doesn't that contradict your statement of how you're a spy from ToH.
