Your laptop it's self is an i3 which is very slow for such games. Windows 8 wont effect much if your laptop is i3. Anyways, let's not become the pros, wait for a well experienced player's advice and follow that. ;)

Wow, when I saw it for the first time I thought it was a poetry. Hmm, it's faith. You were meant to loose at that battle no matter what. + If your internet goes well then thre's no way Tanki would lag. I have the same problem but, I finally figured it out. When more people use the same Internet(me, my friends etc using the Internet from the same modem) it sometime's lags. But, when you're the only one, it doesn't lag at all. It might also depend on your PC. Maybe it's an old one. If a laptop use i7(if possible) it's quite fast. If PC use 4rth generation intelcore(if possibe) or Windows 8. Good luck. ;)
