Smartphone processors (especially android ones) are getting much more powerful with each generation, just look at samsung's galaxy S line. By the time tanki for mobile comes out, high end phones and tablets will have progressed even more, perhaps to the point where flash games like tanki will be playable at decent fps.

Viking gets really OP at m2, judging from the specs (I only have m1 atm).

I'm WO4, and I want to get a new paint sooner or later. I'm currently using Metallic (12% thunder). I use viking m1 + railgun m1 most of the time. I'm thinking of Corrosion (Thunder 15%, Railgun 10%, Shaft 15%: 34,5k crystals), as it comes with good protection for the three deadliest long range weapons. So is it a good paint, or should I wait for WO5 to get something else, like Cedar (Isida 5%, Thunder 32%, Smoky 5%: 42.5k crystals)?

Yeah, be sure to update your wireless card drivers. Mine were really old and once I updated them everything was so much zippier (including tanki).

Yeah the internet connection is super important, I have a pretty mediocre laptop, but I have fiber optics installed in my house so I almost never lag.

I'm using a laptop with a sandybridge i7 and integrated graphics (HD 4000). If I turn off all the dynamic shadowing, I get 60-100 fps, if I leave it on, I get around 40. So no, you don't need an Alienware to get good performance :).

Yes I finally got m1 rail today! I spent the day one-shotting wasps, hornets, and hunters and two shotting everyone else :D.

I feel that much of the tanki discussion going on in Off-Topic should be in general, now that ideas are officially barred from the general subforum. And may I ask what's the point in closing topics, even if a question has been answered? Why not leave it open like in other forums I've been on? I understand if someone gravediggs it, but otherwise I don't see why Mods force themselves to close a topic as soon as an answer they judge to be sufficient appears.
