up your game ;)

Then get Osaka. It will last you until you get a strong M2/M2 kit Both are good. But if I had to pick which is better, I'd say Twins by a small margin
-
Get Cardinal if you want. But skip Thunder and Isida. Thunder M3 is sucky without MUs. And since you have so much crystals, you could get a drug kit. But I honestly wouldn't.
-
What do you mean "random" or "normal" playing?
-
No, you don't need anything. Just keep saving
-
Hmm, so I agree, you should have skipped Thunder M1. But 70k isn't bad at all at where you are. Also, even if you can get Boar, I would wait a few ranks and go for Minotaur, Firewall, Northerner, etc. If you really want Northerner, I think Thunder/Titan M1 can last you to that rank. If you choose to get Northerner, save immediately for a M3 kit. But I don't recommend playing XP/BP at such a low M3 rank. You can play XP/BP at gismo but you can't avoid M4 druggers. Go with Jackhammer

How many cry do you have? Cause you could honestly buy Titan M1 or Viking M1 with Twins and use it until you can get a strong M2/M2 like Minotaur, Firewall, etc. But between Osaka and Stinger.. If you play Poly CP, get Osaka. Hunter M1 has more speed and health than Vik M1, which is great. I have tried both kits on various alts of mine, and the kits are exactly what you think - Stinger for medium-large maps, and Osaka for smaller maps. Hunter M1's speed is great for Poly CP. Ignore the paints though, you're probably better using Storm.

When people say Thunder M3 is underpowered, they mean that if you wish to use it past ~Lt Gen, you need MUs on it. Also, if you compare all the M3s (no MUs), Thunder is one of the weakest. I have 45/50 and in Poly DM, it generally is pretty OP. In Poly DM with MUs on and all supplies + drops off, I've had mixed results with it, but in general it works out decently. But that's usually cause my opponents don't have MUs on their hulls. In normal Poly DM (non pro), I drug most of the time (DD + repair). In these battles, especially at the gismo level, there are usually 3-4 players that drug; not everyone does, which is somewhat surprising to me. Anyways - it [Thunder] is good in Poly DM, with at least 30/50. 35/50 to be safe, but I've also heard that even a ~22/50 Smoky is better than a M4 Thunder. If I were you, I would go for Smoky and MU it. Another big advantage about using Smoky over Thunder is that with Thunder, you have to rely more on kill steals; you have to time your shots to get kills, while for Smoky, you can just hold space and hope for a crit, and take advantage of the quick reload. You can also camp on the ledge where the DD box is and snipe (while you can't really do this with Thunder) As far as short range goes, I'm not too sure. I've seen maybe a M4 Fire on Viking that's been able to do well; but one of the biggest things about using Fire/Freeze is that DD Thunders can easily steal kills. I don't have much to say about Hammer, though.

Best thing to do is to get two good DM turrets that don't have paints that protect against both. For example - Using primarily Twins and Thunder isn't the best idea cause of Africa, Emerald, and Cherry. But using, e.g. Thunder and Smoky is a better option cause there aren't a whole lot of paints that protect against both. Normal DM turrets are typically Thunder (stealing kills), Twins (good in one on one situations), and Smoky (quick reload + critical). Although I've noticed that upgraded Fire/Freezes on Viking can do well too. A good starter is prob Smoky or Twins - they're expensive at M3 but they are fairly strong without MUs. But of course, it's in your best interest to MU them in the long run.
-
Ya, get Boar. MU Dict to maybe 10/50 if you wish, you will really feel a difference in maneuverability and speed. But don't over do it. For a non-buyer, 15/50 is tops (about enough to match M3 Viking's health, which is good)
-
210k currently. 45/50 Thunder 20/50 Twins 11/50 Smoky 13/50 Titan I will definitely be playing the DM tournaments when those come out. And since there will be other maps other than Poly (e.g. I saw Forest DM in the vlog), I need a medium hull. My questions is, should I get Viking or Dictator for Smoky/Thunder and possibly Twins M3? also, is Lumberjack worth its price tag? I don't really plan on MUing it a whole lot.
-
Ya. And maybe a short range paint too, e.g. Lumberjack or Zeus
-
Ok then get Guardian. Only get Cardinal if you plan on playing 95% Poly CP. But in that case, I would get Prodigi at a later date and get Rock. Also, Thunder and Smoky are good to have cause little paints protect against both, while with Thunder + Twins you have problems with Africa, Cherry, and Emerald For your alt - you could get any M1/M1 kit you like, with skill all are good. But the early M1/M1 kits don't last long, which is why it's a good idea to save immediately for a better kit after you get your M1/M1

not unless you're me axaxax http://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/BorussiaDortmund_BVB/

If you log in only to complete daily missions, you might be able to get Minotaur before Major. And your overall plan is unrealistic in some areas. Let's say you get Minotaur at the very end of Major. Then, you need to save immediately for Medic, then save immediately for Guardian after buying Medic.

It's good but not in Poly CP. In large maps it is definitely good. But Idk what you play
-
Don't worry about the Sandstone/Corrosion overlap. Dict M2 is kinda slow without MUs but with MUs, it is fantastic. It is the best M2 hull to MU. Even if you're not "terrible good" with it, I think you should get it. Boar is not a bad kit and it is great for gold. Also, you have some hours logged with Rail M1. Do you like XP/BP? Maybe you can try Tornado (Rail/Hornet M2)
-
How bad do you want to play XP/BP? If you want to play XP/BP early but willing to wait a few ranks, get Rail M3 at General. Either get Hornet M3 or Viking M3 (Viking M3 is good for Poly CP, Dict M2 without MUs can be slow). Skip Rail M2. Also, don't get any "cheap" paint like Electra or Sakura; you're current paint situation is kinda iffy but if you're going to buy any paint, get a M3 paint (any paint that unlocks Brigadier or higher). Emerald or Inferno are good starters. also... I don't recommend wasting your time by playing XP/BP as a non-generalissimo. You can play XP/BP at any rank, but at Generalissimo, you can't play in non-drugger M4 battles. TL;DR - Skip Rail M2 and don't buy any M2 paint you mentioned. Either get Viking or Hornet M3, and get Rail M3 at General

Last battle before gismo: And first battle after gismo :D

This post is strictly about Poly CP btw Alright. I can speak a ton about this, cause I bought Guardian myself. You might have heard me say this but Thunder M3 was my main weapon from Brigadier to General. More specifically, the bulldozer combo. With the old MU system, I had 14/25 damage and 9/12 reload; the new MU system brought me to 41/50 Thunder M3 (I have 45/50 currently) and 25/50 Mammy M2. I used this combo in Poly CP and it worked out great. 90% of the time, 1st place. Didn't even really need to drug a whole lot. So... Guardian.... Lots of mixed feelings about this kit. I bought it sometime last december (i think), when i was about 15% through General. I thought Smoky M3 would be good in Poly CP but turns out I was wrong. I was greatly disappointed in it's performance in this game mode; kept using Thunder most of the time (by this point, the new MU system was out so I had the OP 41/50). Even in Poly DM, I used Thunder more; but this is only cause of all the MUs i had on it. In general though, I found Smoky M3 to be nothing impressive overall. But that's probably cause I just naturally don't like Smoky, I prefer Thunder's raw damage more. I also never used Smoky M2 so I can't say how much of an upgrade it is from M2 --> M3. Now, Titan M3. Amazing. It's speed is perfect for Poly CP with Twins or Thunder. It is incredibly maneuverable and I love it. Not much to say. Good pushing power as well. Nano - I used to only use Emerald and Prodigi, both with a half decent amount of MUs (about 1/3 on both). Nano is a paint that I think it can be useful to have, especially in gismo battles. Rico/Hammer protection is great, and while you shouldn't expect too much out of 20% Smoky, it will keep you alive longer against enemy Smokys. When I reached Marshal, I bought Twins M3 and used Twins/Titan from Marshal to Commander in Poly CP. During this time, I barely laid hands on Smoky. I speak a lot about Poly CP.. But anyways, if you plan on playing lots and lots of Poly CP.. I think you should go with Cardinal. Twins/Titan is much, much (SIGNIFICANTLY) more impressive in Poly CP than Smoky/Titan. And don't worry about Picasso being a iffy paint - you don't have a long range paint atm, and Picasso is good for your Thunder/Viking in large maps (Picasso also comes with Thunder protection). Although I believe that Prodigi is better than Picasso, Picasso isn't bad at all. Another note - if you ask me, whether or not I regret buying Guardian instead of Cardinal at General: At first thought, I would say I regret this; But at the end of the day, I am ok with what I did, cause I got Titan M3 and a medium range paint. But one important thing to note is that I had Prodigi the whole time, so getting Cardinal meant that I would have 2 long range paints. But you dont have a long range paint, so I think getting Cardinal would be better. EDIT: And don't worry about facing Rock. In Poly CP Commander and under, you may see Rock here and there, but not enough to make you quit using Twins. When you play in Gismo Poly CP, Rock is definitely a problem. But other than that, you should be fine. ALSO- if you put some MUs into Twins, Twins/Titan will almost always get you top 2. High D/L, and Twins/Titan is a combo that is a "must-have" on a successful Poly CP team. Even Twins without MUs is good; Stock Twins M3 > Smoky M3 imo.
-
Don't get Vesuvius, I've heard bad reviews about it. And Vulcan M2 isn't strong, anyways. ONLY get Mosquito if you plan on playing XP/BP; other than that, don't get it. The only M2/M2 kits that are worth getting at your rank are Minotaur, Northerner, Atlas, and Firewall. Minotaur has a great combo but ok paint. Northerner also has a good combo but it's paint is only for long range maps. Atlas has all good items but Smoky/Titan is mostly a DM combo (in Poly CP you'll want Twins/Thunder). Firewall has Fire M2 (which is OP as a mofo) but Viking M2 is superior to Hunter M2 and Hohloma is an ok paint. Unless you're bored of Twins M1, I think Minotaur would be good for you. Lasts quite a long time.
-
Hornet M3 is good if you like medium/large maps. Emerald is good for Poly CP but for Island, Rio, Monte Carlo, you may want another paint. Wait until Marshal for Prodigi/Picasso. For Island, Irbis or Inferno are good
-
Do you play Poly CP? Maybe you can get Viking M3. Also, you may want to consider getting a paint, such as Emerald or Inferno.
