If you're fine with short range weapons, then sure. Freeze would also be good if you have Hornet M3 and maybe Wasp M2

Also here is my question I only have M3 Thunder atm. Should I save for Hornet, Viking, or resort to a M2, like Titan or Smoky? I only have 53K right now. Hornet is cheap, but I prefer Thunder/Viking, but I need to rank again for Viking. Titan is good, but I already have Mammoth, so Idk if it is a good choice to buy it or not. Finally, Smoky is good from what I've heard + I play DM a lot, but I feel that now that I have Thunder, I should probably either save for M3 hulls or spend crystals to MU Thunder.

Thunder definitely. I have it M3 and I MU it a little (5x on damage, 3x on reload, total 20K cry spent) and it is OP as hell!!!!! Also, at M4, Thunder wins by a lot, since you can't MU the reload on Smoky. I can assure you that if you get it M3, you will not regret buying it. Can kill M2 Hornet in 2 shots, M3 Hornet in 3 shots, M2 Viking in 3 shots, and M3 Viking in 4 shots (without paint). Trust me, I highly recommend you get it ;) Seems to me that you really want that Smoky M2, so I would save for it. Also, Smoky is a M2 that lasts quite a long time, so get it if you aren't planning on getting an early M3 (Isida, Thunder, Freeze, Shaft)

I would start with M2. The only M1s that can last to First Lt are probably Thunder and maybe Twins, but I would focus on M2s.

Yes it is a decent combo. But I think Twins/TItan is better if you play DM. Twins/Viking would be OK if you're using it outside DM
