What turret and hull are the best after the physics update?
FC_BayernMunchen replied to Cook.My.Sock in Archive
M2 Thunder was nerfed. It could always kill M2 Hornet in 3 shots (without paint). I think the new physics are very good, since it gives more variety between the hulls. But Titan having more speed and power than Mammoth is absolute BS. -
Congratulations. Too bad I can't report you for insult because I am not offended :(

If you could have a paint with 100% total protection, what would it be?

Your insensitivity kills me. -
A random number is selected in the damage range, right? Or am I wrong

I cannot tell you how badly I want to punch you after reading your post.

Doesn't M3 Rail go up to 166 damage? And doesn't M3 Hornet has 166 health? 166-166=0.

I don't think there has ever been a day where I have not seen a pic of you getting a gold box
-
So what happens when a Rail one-shots a Hornet? That's luck, not skill. XP-K's are for skill.

Don't forget what I told you!

What?? He is still here?? Thanks for ruining my day, flae. x)

How come Rail protection paints are not allowed in XP?

M1 Shaft sucks? Use it as if it were a Rail. Yes the reload is slow, but you can drain 150 damage in 3 seconds. You can take out pretty much all M0 hulls and M1 Wasp and M1 Hornet.
-
^ Have you ever played a battle where you did not press 2 3 4

I tried M1 Shaft on my other account @Tankeh_Online. M1 Mammoth is so slow despite the protection, and it takes way to long to get to a good camp spot. Titan is faster and keep the HP, so you could try that. Shaft/Hunter and Shaft/Viking are good choices too. Hunter's speed makes it easy to get to a good camp spot, and Viking can survive a full blast from an enemy Shaft. For Isida, go with Hornet or Hunter (Wasp if you like speed). Hunter is a lot faster now, so short range turrets work fine with it.

Ok, sorry if this has been mentioned before, but when a lot of Shaft users charge up in scope mode but don't get a good view, they will press P (pause) to un-scope and move to a new location. Let's say I hold down space and it's 50% charged. If I press P, the gun will start reloading at the halfway point.. Is this intentional or not?

Try using Ethernet (plug-in) connection. Also, try changing your wifi channel to something else (this helps a ton). If a lot of people in your family are trying to use the wifi at the same time, then you're wifi performance will be a lot lower.

Thunder with Viking, Hornet for Freeze. Hornet M2 is good for speed, but the protection is so-so. Don't go for M2 Freeze. It got nerfed, and its damage sucks (It feels like M1 to me).

lol ok, good choice then :)

You are staff, why no M3 Viking?
-
M2 Viking is a great buy. I have it, and it works out awesome for me. If you're big on speed, then go with Hunter; if not, then Viking.
-
Rico on Hornet? Hornet is more speed than health. Rico has a small recoil, so M2 Hunter and M2 Viking are better choices. I have M2 Mammoth, and honestly, after the new physics, its maneuverability has gone down, but it's huge amount of HP makes up for it. If you play DM, just go with Mammy. Its speed is decent enough for me in Polygon, and it unlocks a lot earlier and is a lot cheaper.

Thanks for the reply. Depending on what percent the sale is, I could get Shaft and then get Smoky later on. For the "how do you use shaft" question, I use it like Rail - long reload, relatively short charge time. What I do is I find a place where it is also good for a Rail user. Even if it's out in the open, as long as there's a wall, then I'm fine. In general, I won't scope until I see an enemy. For example, in Serphuov, I stay at the edge of the map. If I see an enemy driving around in the distance, I will pop out, scope, charge up, fire, and duck back behind cover. I'm not sure if that's the most effective way to use the new Shaft, but at least for me, it works. I would love to get both Shaft and Smoky. The only concern is that if I get M2 Shaft, I might as well get M3. But if I get M3, then getting M2 Smoky is going to be a waste. Another plan I had in mind was to not get any more M2's and get Isida/Hornet M3. It's a cheap combo and it unlocks early. I'm not a huge fan of Isida, but it's bearable. At the least, I'll be set with a M3 combo, since I am very, very bad at managing crystals.

Everyone has M3... except for that M1 Smoky/M1 Hornet/Tundra on the end :P
