Greetings and salutations: By now, many of you have seen my topic, A Study on Druggers (http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=209709). That was a little post I wrote about druggers and why they are annoying. However, the thread quickly turned into a rant thread. This topic hopefully will serve a purpose: to inform you, the good users of Tanki Online, CALMLY AND RESPECTFULLY, how to combat this menace. Please dont turn this into a rant thread! ill try too. I got into yoga, so im calm. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Drugger: Any tanker who has used all powerups at once in-game. There are several tiers, see them in my original thread. They can do serious damage, and ruin a battle in your enemy's favor if not destroyed. The question is: how to kill them. In my experience (which might not be saying much), I have seen several methods, which are written down here. METHOD 1: DEEP FREEZE: The Freeze gun is absolutely PERFECT for facing druggers...why? Even on full drugs, the freeze gun, well, freezes them, slowing the tank down considerably and allowing other teammates to finish them off. METHOD 2: PERSUE AND OVERTAKE: This requires teamwork. IF the entire team can surround the drugger and fire away, the drugger will be overwhelmed and be destroyed. For example, say you are on blue team in silence and a drugger is coming. Once he goes up the ramp and into your base Have a couple teammates swing in around him while another few force the drugger to the wall and pin him down while spamming the fire button. METHOD 3: A TASTE OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE: Well, if you must, and if you think you can beat them drugged up, go for it. Turn it into a good old fashioned slobberknocker grudgematch. Whoever has better equipment and skill (and sometimes luck) will emerge victorious. This might have a chain reaction and turn the battle into a drug war. Ugh. METHOD 4: MAKE LIKE A TREE AND LEAF (Haha): If you cant survive, even on drugs, flee. Regroup with friends and try to use method 2. Why get steamrolled over and over? The drugger probably wont chase you and waste precious seconds on their drugs. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well that about does it. Dang... I didnt mean for this to turn into a hate thread. I just wanted to express my impatience at all the druggers plaguing tanki. Calm down EradicationNation.

Oh shut up. Really. Damn right im insulting the noobs that are so lame at tanki that they need to pay REAL CASH to get an advantage. Your last Also, your entire post doesnt make sense! Druggers that drug 24/7 are noobs. They are bad at the game, so they drug. Its not hard. Many people spend cash in a new game, because they dont like to wait to get otehr equipment. Get it? really tanki? delete the list of shame?

But they DONT quit! they dont stop coming and usually there are more than one drugger in a match! And yes, i have drugged before, we all have. I DONT drug every time i spawn in a battle, nor do i waste my money buying kits and drugs.

I would....if #1 they werent so expensive and #2 there literally are none ever in the battles list.

Geez this thing has really taken off! While reading some of the replies (and thanks to all who took the time to reply) I got thinking. What we have here is a good old fashioned paradox. A lot of people want all drugs banned from the game, thus ridding us of druggers. But druggers are also necesary to the game, as this is how the devs make their two bits (get it? like a 64-bit game and two bits is also a slang for mon- oh never mind). However, dont use that argument solely for the druggers. We get free drugs every time we come back to the game.

I can never find any good Pro Battles. The ones at my rank are all XP battles or all generalissimo, and only about 15% of all battles are Pro.

Have you ever walked into a battle and seen a mass of enemy players all on full powerups? Have you ever been in a great battle and have had one or two players start mashing the 2,3,4 keys? What did you do after that? Rage quit? Try to keep up before quitting? If so, you are not alone. Many an epic battle has been RUINED by these pathetic noobs, who are so scared of not being in first place that they must use powerups to feel good (AKA Use drugs). Just like real drugs, these powerups give the user a "high" of being able to mow down all the other players who play normally. This thread will seek to "study" this epidemic of druggers, and why their actions are ruining a great game. What is a drugger?: A drugger can be defined as a tanki player that uses the game's powerups almost the entire battle. There are four "tiers" of druggers: TIER ONE: The drugger uses some or all three drugs while getting a flag, no other time. We've all done this, it can be forgiven. TIER TWO: The drugger uses one or two powerups (e.g. power or armor) nonstop. TIER THREE: The drugger uses all powerups at once, nonestop. Unfortunately, this is becoming very common. TIER FOUR: The worst, this drugger uses all drugs at once, AND uses a kit, giving them better equipment at a lower rank, just because they can use mommy's credit card to pay cash for a freakin' internet game. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why do druggers do what they do? I believe it is a two part cause: 1) they like being able to destroy others easier, and 2) The latest Tanki update made many turrets weaker and kits and drugs cheaper. The latter is what I think is causing more and more druggers to appear. Their former turrets are just not cutting it anymore, so the drugs come into play. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How can you combat a drugger? The perfect weapon to stop a drugger is Freeze. It severely slows them down, allowing your team to overwhelm them. Also, place down lots of mines, as this can flip over druggers. A flipped drugger does zero damage. DONT DRUG BACK. This encourages the drugger and starts a "drug war", where only powerups are used. If the battle fund is low, leave. Dont bother fighting the losers. Druggers can cause hair loss, throat problems, skin lesions, and an enlarged prostrate. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DRUGGERS' ARGUMENTS AND WHY THEY ARE POINTLESS: "Thats why drugs are there is to be used!" -Yes, maybe to go get a flag or something. NOT to use forever. "You are just mad cause you lost" -Im mad because you think hitting a few keys makes you better than others. "Haha noobs!" -Who is the noob, the guy who has played for years without drugging, or the guy that has played for 15 minutes using nonstop druggs. "Duuhhhhh me drugger, me hit keys cause im gooder than you, harharhar me dumb" Can't argue with ya there, champ. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT CAN YOU DO OUTSIDE THE GAME TO HELP: Push for a new update limiting the amounts of drugs allowed to be used in-game. Just because you can hit 2,3,4 with your fat little fingers or use mommy's credit card to buy drugs and kits does not make you better than the other players that have played for a long time without spending a single cent. i disagree with you there for 50 grand you get python, tundra, desert and a bunch of other good paints that you can use depending on where you go

what hull do you use/what is your style? If you like "flying" and using fire or freeze to get in the enemy's face (wasp or hornet): I suggest Tundra for protection against rail or wait for a sale and get Cedar or Roger. If you like Medium Support (Hunter or Viking) with a smoky or thunder go with Corrosion or desert. If you like Sniping in the bushes (Titan or Mammoth) and rail or shaft use tundra corrosion or Cedar. swash is not good. yeah it looks cool but as you said protection sucks. really i go for stats against looks. If you save up to 49000, like a guy told me to do, get the paint kit. you get a lot of good paints to choose from. good luck!
