Oh my gosh, getting called a noob when my opponent is losing drives me nuts, mostly because it is closely followed with a line of obscenities, but considering the given circumstances, I don't think I was being a noob. **Allow me to make a correction, I am not a noob, but I will openly acknowledge being awesome.

*tips hat* I try to do what I can. I never issue bans unless I must, as the power to ban is not one to be toyed around with. In your case, while you did provide some not-so-nice remarks, given the context, and the fact you weren't all too persistent, I figured addressing the point personally would be satisfactory. Though tread with caution in the future, intentionally attempting to provoke a Moderator is a shifty business. Especially because it puts a Moderator in a weak position that you set up with every intention of getting them to do something you would likely criticize later. Beyond even that, you make it hard for the Moderator in the sense that they are trying their hardest and now they are caught in a tangle of attempts to provoke a reaction out of them, and lose sight of what is the truth, what is not, and what should be banned/warned regardless. Actually, to be honest, I can't think of a time I've ever attempted to avoid a topic on the forum, and I personally love debates, as it revolves around one's mastery of the English language. I am not sure if this topic will be pinned quite yet. We'll see where all this goes, and then perhaps. The prime issue would be that the number of people posting in this topic would go to an entirely proportional number, where myself, even with the aid of my fellow Moderators, would not be able to keep up, or keep track. Furthermore, people would begin to post the same content again, not even realizing it has been said. I personally think that at this point it is better this way, so let's keep it up.

Actually... Chat Moderators... work in the chat. Whereas Forum Moderators work on the forum. Being a Forum Moderator myself, I know we are a very active branch of the staff. And far too frequently, our work ends up going behind closed doors, where you will never see our efforts put forth. Aside from that, I'd say we're all rather active in our posting on the forum as well. Regarding the Chat Moderators, I can almost always get on any random server and see a Chat Moderator working. Just because you don't see bans all over the chat doesn't mean a Mod is not present.

So firstly, it was pointed out in the actual topic post that debates should be taken up with Moderators in private, so I was entirely warranted to post my remark about Moderators not being obligated to take part in these, "debates". Secondly, @FederalBureauFBI has contributed a lot to this community, and his form of communication is direct, leaving no room for miscommunication. Furthermore, indeed, many good Moderators have left, leaving their mark forever in our community, and I don't mean to shock you here, but more of these good Moderators will leave us all too soon as well. That's simply how life works. There will be good people, but those good people will have to leave eventually, as nothing can last forever, no matter how much we wish it so. Though I'd like to point out that I believe that as of present, we have a very good moderation team, and our Moderators are dedicated to their work, constantly conferring with each other to ensure that the appropriate decision is made. In all of my 1278 posts to date, I have ensured I am thorough, and engaged in the community, and almost always, my posts relate to my work as a Forum Moderator, or in the recent past, as a Consultant (until the removal of the position from the game). You'd don't simply need a clean karma to become a staff member, you need to be mature, responsible, active, knowledgeable, understand English well, etc. I believe you provide a very unproductive, pessimistic outlook here. So please let's be productive together, and rather than just complaining, specify the issue you see, provide an example, and perhaps then we can move forward together. :) Actually, there are many battles on that particular server, it just so happens that you can't see them. At this point, not being a developer myself, I don't know where they plan to take the auto-server load system. And the "/vote" button always works, the true issue is that Chat Moderators are getting dozens and dozens of these reports from players every few minutes, and it is incredibly hard to keep up with it all. They always come when they can, take my word on it. And the old kick system had issues that would allow players to abuse it to kick innocent players out of a battle. Maybe. You ought to post that in the Ideas & Suggestions section if it is not there already. There were many issues that could easily lead to people abusing it to kick innocent players out, or gain more of the fund by kicking out other innocent players purely for that purpose. I am not sure exactly what you meant when you posted you had, "1 trillion votes", but I can address the latter of the two points. Moderators are just the same as any other person, and we have a life as well, and furthermore do have to sleep at some point. We are no myth, and every single Moderator does his best to help the community to the fullest of their capacity. We do respond to your calls for help, in fact, more frequently than you will ever know. Please just be patient. The only reason that the Madness 'low-gravity' skybox was added back is because it was fitting to the theme of Madness, being a huge big map of many confusing ramps that are raised very high up. It would make no sense to add an entire new map called, "Moon Silence" simple for the old 'low-gravity' skybox. And adding the old Moon Silence skybox to the present Silence is entirely out of the question, as it no longer fits the theme without an actual 'low-gravity' feature. This is actually a fair point, and I personally appreciate the defense while I was not present to respond to all these comments. I knew the moment I saw this you'd get flack for it, and for that, I am sorry. We try our best, and part of that is me attempting to reach out to everyone here that has a point to be made that I feel can benefit if I address it. You seem to take on the facade of being friendly, while making belittling comments. Firstly, to address the person you are speaking to as, "kid" is totally inappropriate and unneeded. Your out of place smiley faces and such add nothing to your facade, though decrease my respect for you as, given your unkind conduct. I believe many know of the "/vote" feature, and I believe many are yet to learn, some of those who are unaware of it, it is purely because of their age, or ability to understand English. I am in the staff... I'm a pretty low rank... I've actually been here for about two years. And no, this is not their fault, and furthermore, it is out of their control, yet they make an effort to rid this game of mults all the same. *whew* So many responses, and I suspect there will be more to come. This is an interesting topic, and it's fun to see what the community thinks about the matter. Though I would like to point out; there is more to joining the staff than being social and friendly. You have to speak English well, and with fluent articulation. You must possess a thorough knowledge of the game, the forum, and all extensions of the game. Your karma must be rather clean. How can you enforce the rules if you can't even follow them? And so on and so forth. This is not to say that individuals on the list at present do not possess these qualities, but it is something that should be kept in mind. Moderators will never be of any obligation to take part in debates. Should you contact a Moderator, simply with the intent to debate it out, they are only obligated to clear up the reasoning behind the actions that are being questioned, and then may direct you to their appropriate Admin.

While your warning is appreciated, and I'd hope many would heed it, this is just one case among thousands. If you see someone on a server attempting to trick other players into handing over their account information, the best thing you can do is take screen shots, and attempt to make it obvious what the account thief is attempting to do to the chat as a whole, and the victim. After you have done all you could in person, be sure to take those screen shots and report them here: Chat violators. Closed.

Clans don't necessarily need to be so formal, there is actually a lot of room to flex the clan to be how you'd like it to be. Though there is no casual clan as of present. Closed.
