Since, you don't use freeze that much and you aren't able to use correctly, I don't think it's worth it. However, you'll need to rank to general to buy rail M3 and wasp M3 but you will also have time to decide a get a paint that suits you. Score multiplayer thing helps a lot. You'll rank way more faster with it. I have got M2 ricochet too and I am using it pretty much a lot. It's a good gun, especially at your rank but it requires skill to be a pro with it.

What about filters too? Or at least for XP battles since they are the most popular.

@Brandy, If I were you I would get the new light M3 kit, option 2. Rail M3 at this rank would be overpowered since most of the players have M2 hornets, which die in 1 shot (except if they have protection). Also, hornet isn't that bad. The drift is actually an advantage of it. For the XP battles, when you are using hornet, no protection is needed. You will just need a few days to get used to it. Spark will be somehow useless when you have Needle. I believe, needle isn't that bad. The smoky protection will help you survive an M3 critical shot and the shaft protection will also help you survive one shot at sniping mode, even if the shaft is M3. Ricochet protection will be helpful in the future because I heard many high ranked players use it at M3. In addition, getting the new kit instead of the old one will save you 100k crystals too, which are enough to get wasp in the future, if you still want it.

You don't have to buy the M1s. It's in the price of the kit anyway. For example, you have Hunter M0 and you decide to buy the hulls kit, you'll have it M2 instantly.
