but it does make them much more predictable, also crit damage was halved... but average shot damage was boosted by a bit. I think it's still pretty balanced

No need to post twice. From your situation, it looks like you need a good hull, I'd suggest Hornet or Hunter M1, and then probably Rail/Thunder M1.

lots of people are thrown off by the new afterburn mechanism, they use health packs way too early, and after I die, like 30 seconds later they die. Against firebirds, if you're hornet m2 you should use a health pack the moment you start getting burned, unless a, you're drugging, b, you have paints against it, c, you've got isidas behind you, d you can kill the firebird quickly (rail, thunder,smoky etc.), e, you've seen the firebird get shot so you know it has little hp left.

rico m2 is now really strong and so is firebird, inferno would be a nice choice too. the only problem is that mammy doesn't go to well with ricochet. I would suggest heavy m2

Meh I was pro with fire and wasp prebalance :D but then I quit tanki, forgot my pass and started using hornet on my new account :D (this one) going back to the good ol days with fire m2 wasp m2 :D :D I like smoky, everyone says it got nerfed but I think it got boosted - average damage boosted, crit chance boosted, so you get a crit like every 1 out of 5 shots, and also knockback (where you mess up the opponents aim)

I have my Wasp equipped with Tundra MUed, (which I think is cheaper than Digital, 3 MUes only around 2k each will get you to around 35%, IMO the smoky protection doesn't really help that much anyways). Nice to see ya btw :D I caught up to your rank already :lol:

yeah I'm getting wasp m2 and smoky m2 on mayday :D

getting the gold 1/3 of the time is actually really good... I've seen probably around 200 golds drop, so far I've only gotten 32.

At M2 Wasp has more health than Hornet FYI, and a cheap paint like Forester would just do the job.
