Rail M1 with Hornet M1 is nice, You might want to consider Freeze M2, Hornet M2 or Rail M2. Ricochet requires lots of skill so I wouldn't suggest it unless you're really pro at it. Yeah I said it was good against anything except freeze B)

Titan is probably better. Twins, Smoky, Titan and Mammoth both unlock at Major-Colonel, so you'll be stuck with M1s till Colonel, which is horrible. You should get a gun that can be M2ed early, so at least you'll have an M2 til Colonel. Since you like to defend the flag, Freeze M1 then Freeze M2 looks like a good choice. But you should already have Freeze M2 right now (Assuming that you have Freeze M0), so you're in some trouble. How much cry do you have currently?

Ok so I still need 10k for Smoky M2 after I rank, and I'm 25.5k to ranking. Only earned 2.5k today :( That's around 10 more days til I rank, and my SMP runs out on 3/9/2014. Uh oh, so if I need to rank in 10 days, how long do you think I need to play each day?

You can use Fire M2 all the way up to Commander, and Smoky M2 all the way up to Marshall but as Remaine stated, you should have a backup M3 combo by General.

Wasp gets 1 shotted by Rail, so hornet is probably better. At M2, wasp is probably better, but if this is your main account, then you're far away from Colonel, so I would say hornet.

I don't really like rail that much, but I am ok with M3 Hornet. The only reason why I actually got Hornet M2 was because it was cheap :P I love smoky much more than rail, so I might get Hornet M3 or Wasp M2 instead of Savannah. Needle worries me, but there will always be smoky paints on the battle field anyway, so I might as well get used to it. My "dream combo" is Smoky M3 + Wasp M3 + Picasso, so I can get Smoky M2 right now. Picasso is gonna come later, Smoky M3 is a long time away, and so is Wasp M3. So I might as well get Smoky M2, then start saving up for Wasp M2. I've heard you can use Wasp M2 + Smoky M2 all the way up to Marshall, and I've seen Generallisimos with Smoky M2 and Wasp M3. So my new plan is: Rank up to Colonel, get Smoky M2, start saving up for Wasp M2, Get Wasp M2 sometime around Brigadier, Rank up to Marshall and get Smoky M3 and Wasp M3. Then I can pile up my remaining crystals into Picasso. Is this ok?

Get the light kit M3, save for a sale and get Thunder M3. Then try to stop A Twins M3 + Mammy M3 + Inferno with 9 supporting Isidas M3 + Mammy M3 + Inferno. See what happens :P

Whew, I need 11k for Smoky M2 on a 50% day... At the higher ranks, funds rise really fast and more golds drop. It used to take me 2 days just go get 1k, now it only takes me 1 day to get 3-4k, without goldboxes. Yes, I agree double funds are cool :D Today in the morning, gold in Serpuhov, on the bridge, I was running for it, no other competition... Then I hit a mine and died :(

What? Well the first part of your statement makes sense, but how is M3 Twins on Mammy M3 weak? It can pwn pretty much anything except freeze or firebird. But if it has inferno, it's a different story.
