Oh my god. Contests are made by specific reporters, and when they're inactive and the contest falls into disuse, we request that reporter to give the contest a new life by hosting it personally. We have a code of honour too, you know :P

It might interest you to know that we ask permission to take over the contests - if we don't, we leave a message in their Skype (in the case of retired and inactive reporters).

@hogree and @GoldRock did the kindest thing to me before I became a reporter - encouraging me to hold on for sometime and write a few more quality articles - because I'd just been rejected two weeks ago in the Reporter Selections. Thanks to them, I'm a reporter now.

Hmm, looking at all Fen has said, I'd say I fully agree with him. Back in the original days of the TWG when bluelight1209 was the leader, it was actually pretty settled. We had a fixed mindset - to give the community a quota of articles not provided by the newspaper. And that is exactly what we did - we did it with an aim of improving our writing skills and above all, enjoying what we do. I think that the facts are irrefutable. If you guys can't think of ideas, you might as well close the topic down or do some good thinking, rather than just copying the Wiki and newspaper articles. And if you say you aren't plagiarizing, if you clearly recognize an article that's aped another source, why do you let it get published at all? You people are more concerned with raising your post count than actually writing useful stuff. Of the past three issues, I've only seen a couple of relevant articles, and Issue 6? None. It's a pathetic issue, even by the current standards. If you want to make this club matter, either come up with some original ideas or take a look at the old TWG to see how it worked. Oh, and you say your ultimate aim (at least, for some of you) is to become a reporter? You'll need to put in much more effort. Not a single person from this club has become a reporter even after six issues, whereas three of the members of the previous writing club (which lasted for half the number of publishes) have gone on to become reporters. Get your mindset correct, and your priorities straight. That's it in a nutshell.

Not to mention he remains transparent for the first fifteen minutes after joining a battle, in which period he keeps spitting LAG into the chat.
