I don't see in either of my posts, where I try to speak for anyone I have not already talked to. Never used "we" anywhere. I only speak for people I know or people that have already posted the same sort of comments. Yvano is right you are certainly not helping at all. So from this point forward I will just ignore what ever it is you feel you need to say, because I couldn't care less about what you have to say anymore. For the sake of Tanki Please hold a series of polls to get more accurate results BEFORE you make any more changes. One other thing to consider is that for high rank players with M3's the impact of the swapping of hull perimeters is very costly. M3's are not cheap. If you look at the ranks as well as the complaints you start to see a pattern. A lot of M3 level ranked players built their garage around hornet and viking. From their point of view it is unfair to have someone take away the only m3 stuff they had. Viking and Dictator basically switched places. I know several players with M3 viking and only M1 dictator Do you see why they are so upset? Especially after the 50% off Viking sale. No matter what you say many people feel you pulled a classic bate and switch scam. You offer everyone Viking but turn around and give them Dictator with the Viking name. I'm not accusing you anymore. You may not have even thought about this from that point of view. This is not whining and complaining, these are just facts. PLEASE don't make the same mistakes again. Ask the people what they want before you make the change, not after.

I have questions. We did they decide to make changes in the first place? Was anyone complaining? What kind of game are they trying to turn Tanki into? Now it is more like playing a racing game with weapons. Like Mario Cart. This version is now about running around as fast as you can and dying every couple of seconds, and that is with M2's. I used to justify spending money for crystals as an entertainment cost. (like going to the movies) now you have removed the entertainment. To sum up what I see, it looks like the players that where already using the close range weapons are happy. Why wouldn't they be, all those weapons improved, except isida. I think that isida got trashed because they don't want people getting healed for free, they want you to use health packs. With all the twins running around with the space bar taped down, you can't even get out of your on base with out feeling like a ping pong ball. All the long and medium range guns have been made worse. I don't want to play Mario Cart anymore I want to play a tank game. Tanks are supposed to take a lot of damage, but now everything is instant kill. I think the dev's have taken this in the wrong direction. We need stronger tanks not weaker. I would also like to apologize for some of the rude things I mentioned in earlier posts. You have to understand one thing though, as buyers we have spent lots of money on building our garage's around the way we play the game. We all know that the 2 most popular hulls where hornet and viking. Hornet for speed and viking for protection. When the Dev's made these 2 staples of our garages undesirable, it made us feel like all that money we spent was wasted. As soon as you start talking about real cash people get very upset. Being a buyer in the first place means we care enough about this game to spend money on it. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but lets be honest most of the English speaking countries ( like Canada, US , and Europe) have the disposable income to spend on Tanki. Many of the less fortunate countries do not. Maybe this why the English community seems to get the most upset about these issues. In the future the dev's might use the poll system to ask if things need to change It says in the OP that this is not final. May I suggest that several polls be held. These polls need to be taken over a longer period of time then just a couple of days, so everyone can get a chance to vote on what happens next. I know that testing was done on the test severs, but this is not an accurate way to test these things. On the test server everyone is a Generalissimo with m3's and unlimited crystals. The results there will be much different then in the real world servers. We accept the fact we will not be getting a refund, so at least let the players decide if they want to keep this version, adjust this version, or switch back to the old version. Is THIS too much to ask? I'm a little confused about the poll from just before this update. It clearly indicated that Viking was the tank everyone wanted. You then put it on sale. Then several days later you completely alter it. My question is why? If it was the favourite why mess with it, and why put it on sale, get everyone to buy it, if you knew it was going to be changed so drastically. I hope that someone responsible for making decisions is reading these and not just being auto deleted.

Now that my rant is over I will give my feed back. To me it seems that all the turrets are to strong for the hulls. Everyone is dying every 5-10 secs. This is not fun any more. it is much better if you can with stand several hits before you explode. This game used to be about strategy,skill and guns. Now it's about running around ,close quarter combat,instant kills and no skill. The CTF games I played in today are useless now. They are more like TDM. Half an hour went buy and only 1 flag , but every bodies kill counts where really high. The only way to beat fire,freeze,or twins is from a distance but with all the range weapons weakened you still don't stand much chance. Unless you want to use "OP no skill turrets" it's drug or die, and that will get really expensive. With the old thunder you could still get away if you had good reflexes, now forget it. If fire hits you, you are dead (and it doesn't matter what hull you use)unless you have health packs left. Rico is now about the only weapon that can get in and fight back. On Silence with three twins on mammoth guarding the blue flag, it is near to impossible to get up there, let alone get away with a flag. I really don't see how you call this balanced. It really isn't much fun dying all the time. I built my garage around hornet and viking both M2 MU'ed but with them being too weak to withstand more then a couple of seconds it is silly.Thunder was never meant to be long range. It's most appealing feature was it's brute force and splash, but that came at a cost. Damage to yourself this is not an issue now and it lost it's appeal. It didn't really need an increase in distance it already reached the end of most maps and your visual range. The only upgrade that kinda makes sense is Rico, although it may be a little over powered. Isida has already been discussed, and I agree it is pretty much useless now. Overall I prefer to have things the way they where. It was more fun. Everyone stood a chance, but now no one stands a chance for more then a few seconds unless you want to hide. I guess players that like to use strategy and think about how to kill their opponents have no place in the new Tanki Online. It's more like a fast paced arcade game, which to me has very little to do with tanks and tank warfare.

Something else just occurred to me. If you buy a product in the store, it comes with a warranty. Some even come with a satisfaction guarantee. If that product fails to satisfy or becomes defective, you can return it for a refund. Well my products I purchased are defective , broken , or unsatisfactory. I want even bother asking for a refund. I already know the answer. "NO WAY EVER" "We don't care that you have spent hundreds of dollars." I had no problem paying until you decided to rearrange everything to the point that I either have to forget about all the things I spent my money on and buy all new stuff, or just play with what I have and complain about being an unsatisfied customer. Which is pretty much pointless. Oh Well. My point is I'am an unhappy paying customer what are you going to do?

The owners of Tanki saw an opportunity to make more money. The conversation probably went something like this. " Lets take all the popular items that everyone has spent money on buying and micro upgrading, and ruin them so everyone will have spend more money buying and micro upgrading their forgotten and ignored items. Don't forget they will need to buy all new paints to defend against all the rearranged turrets. Oh yeah and if we make all the turrets stronger then what the hulls can defend against they will need to buy lots of drugs just to stay alive longer then 10 seconds......Yeah yeah I know the English community will not like it but their dumb and will just keep buying anyway. We will do this every 6 months so we can get all the new players with this bait and switch scam." Well you've gotten your last dime from me, and a lot of other people too I bet. All this update has done is expose your true intentions. To the rest of the English community, if you think about it, it is most likely that we are the ones funding all this, because I doubt that there many 12 year old Russian kids paying to play.

To the Developers: As a long time Linux user I have no desire to switch back to windows. Please take into consideration how the switch to Unity will impact the Linux community. I know that we only represent a small percentage of the users. But this is bigger then that. Linux as a whole would greatly benefit from Tanki Online's support in helping to complete the development of Unity web player for Linux. It would be a huge help if we knew which way you plan on going. Unity Web Player or standalone version? As there is currently no web player for Linux. I would regrettably have to stop playing. This is not meant to sound like a threat , I am only asking you to help the unity team to complete the Linux version. The unfortunate fact is Linux gets put on the back burner all the time and frankly that is sad because in my opinion Linux is superior to windows in several ways. Being lighter weight on system resources and greater security are the 2 main reasons I use it. So I and all the Linux users would be very great full for any support you can give us. Does your karma heal over time or does it stay permanently damaged? I, as well am worried about flood bans adding up to a serious ban. As someone else mentioned, I think there needs to be a better way to report violators. This way those of us who care about the community can help clean things up. We can't expect the few MODS that are around, to do this all by themselves. What about junior mods, with less powers then regular mods, but enough power to submit reports and /or request immediate help when they see something. More eyes the better. I have a perfect example. I was in a battle a couple of days ago and witnessed a cheater. He was under the map and still killing people. I tried to get a mod (/vote) and it didn't work. So went and PM a mod that was online in the forum, but by the time he answered me it was way to late. A video was not an option. If I was a junior mod with a "I NEED HELP NOW" button, the cheater my have gotten caught.

I know I'll get a lot of flack for this, but I think it doesn't really matter what we want. This game has always catered to the the Russians and most likely always will. Someone mentioned that it won't matter much to buyers because we will just buy the next "hot" item. Do you know how much this costs? I've already spent way to much. So I doubt I will be buying anything else. It too risky to plan your garage around certain things if they are going change things again. I kinda don't understand why we want everything balanced anyway. If everything is balanced we will have no need for all the different hulls and turrets, we can all use the same thing. I think having fear of a certain combo because it is much stronger, only make you try harder. You may even learn how to defeat it. Which makes you a better player. For the record I think being able resell things back or recycle unused items will satisfy a lot of players. Lots of other games have this.

So after what FBI says, I read this to mean it really doesn't matter what the English community wants because the Russians are the ones giving all the feedback. The one with the loudest voice gets heard and unfortunately if are not giving feed back, then we are not going to be heard. If we don't start giving good feed back , that they can use, then we will be basically letting the Russians steer the game in what ever direction they want. They already beat us in all the games, lets not let then beat us at this too.

IMO this update is good in some ways and bad in others. Shafts turret speed needs to be increased not decreased. Hornet is fine the way it is. Freeze is going to be even more annoying. I like the way they put viking on sale, get everyone to buy it, and then turn around and trash it. I remember what happened when they trashed mammoth, all the people that spent hard earned crystals ,bought or not, on getting that hull got no compensation then either. I think they keep changing things as away to get people to spend more money. People buy things because that is what they want based on the current stats. If they change things around all the time, that changes what people want, and they offer no compensation. For some people it takes a long time to earn enough crystals to buy their dream combo and then it changes. I agree with a lot of people on here, we need some sort of compensation. Being able to sell unused things back to the garage would be a really good idea. Like half back or something. This way you could sell stuff you will not be using anymore and put those crystals towards something you will use. The cost to get better stuff is very high. If you are a buyer this equals money,and a lot of it, if you are not a buyer this equals a lot of time. Both are worth something. How about having a survey about what the players think about the equipment stats before you make decisions about what needs to be changed. Don't we deserve to get a say about what happens to our game? After all the players make the game. No players no game.

Why would they be aloud to have flash plugin but not unity plugin? That makes no sense. And frankly we could stand a few less "kids" around here. The reason I put kids in quotes is because I'm referring to maturity level not necessarily age. I've met some really mature pre-teens and some really immature 20+. You all know what I mean.

Yes it does. In most cases flash comes installed, so most aren't even aware of the plugin. I think most of the people posting comments are very young and don't understand a lot about computers. They only know how to turn them on and get on the web.

I'm still unclear if I will be able to play once you switch to unity. They say it supports Linux but if the devs go with 'unity web player' there is no browser plugins available for Linux yet. Unity claims that there will be one in the future. Maybe the devs of this game will be able to help make this a reality. Flash has become obsolete and does need to be replaced with something else. Unfortunately for anyone using something based off of Linux, including Chromebooks, this is just bad timing. I'm sure Linux support will come with time, we just my have to wait awhile. Flash is also no longer supported by Linux, so most of the Linux users can only use Chromes built in flash "pepperflash" And to everyone saying "don't change the game" how many times does it have to be said "they are not changing the game". If they gave you 2 versions, 1 using flash and 1 using unity, you would not be able to tell the difference. NOW DO YOU GET IT?

If you mean unacceptable for young people to play. Be glad your parents care enough about you, to watch what you are doing. Good for them.

It may not be violent to some, but it does promote aggressive behavior. I would definitely not let anyone under 8 play this, and up till 12 parents should have to give consent. It is up to parents to pay attention to what their kids are doing online, and decide if the child is mature enough to handle and understand what is going on. I do know one 12 year old that is more mature then some of the 16+ players on here. So really it is the parents job to decide. One additional thing, seeing as how the sign-up process only requires a nickname and password there is really no way to enforce an age limit.

well then seeing as you admit doing it you should be punished or banned I'm really getting sick of people playing team games and only looking out for them selves.
