What does your story have to do with this topic? Did you follow all the instructions? Because if you didn't they will not answer you.

Why would you want to close it? Is it hurting you to be open. Maybe somebody in the future may want to say something. That's one of the problems in this forum, topics get closed too quickly for no reason.

How do you avoid them? I assume PRO battles. I also assume there would be a lot less trouble makers in PRO battles. So maybe that is another solution to the problem, play more PRO battles. This does bring up an issue of how many people would make a report if the mult/saboteur was helping their team win. It is much easier to spot and get angry about when the violator is causing you to lose. Many probably go unaware of the problem if they are on the winning side. If this is going to have an effect we will have to pay close attention and be willing to act even when it may hurt us. Self sacrifice will be the hard part, in the end it will be better for everyone. Too Funny! I'm guessing it wasn't the /vote that worked. It was most likely the fact he was on skype with his mod buddies. But this is speculation, or is it? You decide why it works for him and almost never for anyone else. Sorry I missed this. I'll see if there is anyway to do that. But for now tell anyone you can. I kill people if all they do is grab crystals. You can grab all the crystals you want, but you better help your team as well. Nothing angers me more then your own team driving right past you when you need help, just to grab crystals. Especially Isida's. You want to run around and grab crystals go to DM matches. EDIT: Actually you can be banned for only grabbing crystals, if your not helping your team. See this example form the violators section.

First off, Get your facts right. this is not about "team kick" (wrong thread) Stalking. Really don't flatter yourself. I joined your games because at that time you had mentioned you where going to be having tryouts for your clan and was interested in joining. I thought that was what friends did, join friend's games. I guess I must have imagined reading ("If we don't win this I'm deleting all of you from my friends list") I was talking about someone else from your clan. I can't remember if he left or you kicked him, but he told me you would whine all time about him beating you in practices. More excuses. /vote is not very effective. This whole idea is about discouraging players from acting badly in the first place, and if you have a problem with that you must be a supporter of mults and saboteurs And there is a difference between a mult and a saboteur. mults are generally inactive or crystal grabbers saboteurs are actively fighting against you to destroy the game. If you like direct, here you go. Your skills are not as good as you think. I beat you then and when I get my M3's I'll beat you again. You act like the teen that you are and not much like an adult. Here is a link to a topic that is similar to this one. "Let's Discuss Mults and Saboteurs !" It was started by @swede1. At first glance it looks like the 2 should be merged, but there is a difference between the two. This one is about "What can we do?" as players. The topic @swede1 made, is about "What can Tanki do?" Edit: This is now included in the top post. Here is an example that just worked for me. I was in a battle and 2 guys got into a fight. There was some nasty swearing and insulting going on. I said "I have taken a screen shot and will report you. You will get a ban. I am not going to put up with this behaviour" . They responded with "ok we will stop" and they did. So it does work. EDIT: It has worked a few times now, for me.

Edited: 1/11/2015 I agree that there are several ways Tanki could help to combat this problem. So far they have not come up with anything really good. EDITED: I should clarify what I have an issue with. If you are lucky enough to join a battle and a gold box drops shortly after you join and you get it, great good for you, but stay and help your team. What I don't like is people that only come in, looking for gold boxes and then leaving. They are not much better them a mult or saboteur. They take up valuable space that could be used by a player that is not so selfish and willing to fight for his/her team.

Tanki has had more then enough time to solve some of these issues and have done nothing about it. I wrote this during a time when I believed that players could make a difference in this game. I, along with many others have come to realize that Tanki really doesn't value our opinion. You are now faced with 4 options: learn to be one of the dishonest players this campaign talks about and cheat to win become a buyer and a mindless drugger learn to accept this game for what it is and deal with it just leave all together <<< I personally may chose this option ***Crystal Grabbers no longer exist since the removal of crystal boxes, so text in this color does not apply anymore, however I'm leaving it as a reminder. What can WE, as players, do to help? Like many of you, I'm tired of mults, saboteurs,cheaters, and crystal grabbers ruining our games. It is time to fight back and send a message that we will not tolerate this anymore. First off, to the mods: Feel free to join in the conversation, in fact I encourage you too. We look forward to your input. After all this affects all of us. Many people look to the staff of Tanki Online for guidance and direction, much the way a student looks to a teacher or an employee looks to their boss.To posters: Please don't post useless things here. If you don't have anything constructive to say, don't say anything at all If you disagree with some of my points, that's fine, feel free to say what you want, just keep it constructive and civil. I will ask a mod to delete anything I think is useless to the conversation. Terms used in this topic (for those who do not know already) : MULT: a player put into a game for the purpose taking up space on the opposite team. In most cases they are inactive but moved from time to time to prevent being auto kicked. SABOTEUR: a player who joins just to sabotage a game. Sometimes for their own fun, sometimes to help the opposite team win. They block you on purpose, push off teammates, hold flags so they can't be captured and etc. etc. CHEATERS / HACKERS: these players will use all kinds of tricks. They use hacks, glitches, and 3rd party software to gain an unfair advantage. CRYSTAL GRABBER or HARVESTER: a player who joins games for no other reason then to grab crystal boxes. They have no interest in helping their team mates. They try to justify it by not killing anyone. I've even seen them say "please no kill". They take up space that could be used by a good player willing to help their team. SUPPLY HOARDERS: a player that needlessly grabs all the supplies. Sometimes they will even block or push you to prevent you from getting supplies. If you do not need the supply don't pick it up, unless your are trying to stop the enemy from getting it. Just think before you take it, a team mate may need it. Remember, you don't get any points or XP from picking up supplies. GOLD BOX HUNTERS: are players that spend their time going from battle to battle just hunting for gold boxes. Rarely do they ever help the teams they join and usually leave right after the gold drops. I personally disagree with this behavior but Tanki encourages it with "Gold Box Hunter of the Week". So you decide how you feel for yourself. RAIDERS: are a very organized group of players that move from battle to battle looking for high battlefunds to raid. If you don't pay attention they slowly stack the teams. They take turns sharing the battle funds. The mults of the losing side become the winners in the the next raid and vice-versa. Have you ever been in a battle where you think "this is easy, we got this" only to have the battle completely reverse and suddenly those "easy players" find those missing skills and supplies and your side falls asleep? Or so it seems. You sit there scratching your head "Why did they give up? Why aren't they drugging?" Well you just got raided. Now raiding is not technically against the rules, however it is not very nice either. STACKING OF TEAMS: (ADDED June 2015)This is something new that dishonest players have started to do.(Started to see it in spring of 2015) Here is an example. They will place 5 players on each team, leaving 5 spots for random players to join on both teams. They then wait to see which team starts to do better and then the 5 players on that team start to sabotage and mult. So in effect they are raiding battle funds from the random players. They will most often take turns being on the winning teams. They will only kill the random players until they decide which team will win and then sometimes start killing friends on that losing team to make sure the 5 friends on the winning side finish at the top of their teams side.Very often they are using some sort of external form of communication like Skype or Teamspeak3. I have also seen some groups that admitted they are all sharing accounts that belong to the group. So it may not always be the same player behind the controls. This way if an account gets banned it doesn't matter because they will just use another account from the collection. The goal seems to be to build all the accounts up equally so it really doesn't matter which accounts the members use. /VOTE is a command you can use in the battle chat. It is designed to call a moderator to a battle that has a mult, saboteur, cheater or hacker. Here is an example ( /vote Canadian_Eh ) If your not sure of the exact spelling of a player push Tab > click on the name > click "copy name" > and paste it after "/vote" in the battle chat. You can vote anyone regardless which side they are on. You should see some light green text stating that your complaint was sent successfully. After that I usually put ( "/vote player's name" sent ) LINKS to important information related to this topic: The Rules of Tanki Online The Violators Section Once there you will find all the information you need to proceed with reporting someone. Instruction on how to take screenshots. Instruction on how to upload a screenshot to an image hosting site. Instruction on how to post a screenshot in the forum. Instruction on how to record a VIDEO. Instruction on how to upload a video to YouTube. Instruction on how to post your YouTube video in the forum. Some of the instructions links above are only a starting point. You may be able to find better or more suitable options using Google. Did you know you can get a ban for not killing mults and saboteurs that are helping your team? Below is the result of a reported battle that had a red team player preventing his own team from grabbing the blue flag.(Mammoth with twins) There were 3 other blue players helping him, but not killing him. All 4 of these players got banned. Here is our plan. We must remember not to break the rules ourselves to accomplish this. Please read the rules and remain within these boundaries at all times. This will not be easy, but with time and commitment it will make a difference. It will require people to discourage this kind of behavior. Tell them if they are breaking the rules. They may be unaware. Also tell them that what they are doing may be fun to them but not others, and that they are ruining your game play. Always use the /vote command even if you feel it isn't very effective. Tell everyone to do it, on both teams. If enough players use it the chances a moderators will come increase. 1 /vote is not enough. It may require help from both teams in a battle. Don't be afraid to ask for help getting rid of a mult and be willing to do the same, if asked. I know mults on the other team help you but it doesn't help this campaign or the game. It will, at times, require you to sacrifice your game and score to prevent this kind of behavior. Just be careful you do not become a mult yourself. Tell all your friends and anyone else you can about this campaign. Get them involved with helping. If your team places a mult on the opposite team make it your job to force then out. Keep killing that mult until they leave. Tell everyone about it and ask for help. Tell your team to remove them or you will report them. If the other team puts a mult on your team. Tell everyone about it and ask if someone on the other team can help get them out by killing them repeatedly until they leave. Again tell them to remove the mult or you will report them. Take video if you can and report them. Tell them what you are doing. If the other team allows a saboteur/mult to remain, and won't do anything about it, leave the battle, and encourage your whole team to leave. They will get tired of not having anyone to play with. Remember to collect evidence and report them. Raiders are another problem. If you find yourself in this situation just leave the battle. Don't stick around to feed their "raided battle fund". Leave them to fight among themselves. Stay out of battles that will build huge battle funds, have really long timers, or already too lopsided to win. These are the traps. It is better to win 100-200 crystal every 15 minutes then maybe 2000 in a several hour game. And if you end up having to leave, it is no big loss. Think about those supplies. Will picking up, when I don't really need it, help my team by preventing the enemy from getting it? Do one of my team mates need it? Do I need that speed up for defense or does the guy running flags need it? Kill crystal grabbers repeatedly. Don't let them just grab crystals without helping the team they joined. Why should they get paid for our kills and hard work? If they are on the same team as you prevent them by pushing them away and grabbing the crystals from them. Make it as hard for them as you can. Ask the other team to keep killing them. Let people know that if they want to pick up crystals they will need to earn them. Same goes for gold boxes. CAUTION: Don't become so obsessed with a player that set out to ruin the game that you yourself become a saboteur or mult. Remember your duty is to the team you joined. I know lots of you will say this is a waste of time, but if we do nothing they win and nothing will ever change. With time and as our numbers grow, we may be able to make a difference. I personally feel satisfied every time I rid this game of one more of these people. Protect your Account Link your account to an e-mail. It makes it much harder for someone to hack and alter your passwords. NEVER, EVER give your password to anyone. When someone offers you free crystals or offers to trade you accounts, it is a scam. They will ask for your password so they can steal your account. They will use your stolen account to test hacks and cheats, use it as a mult, use it to sabotage others, or probably all of the above. Also remember Tanki never offers to give free crystals to anyone. I know someone who almost fell for a scam of free crystals for testing a new chat room for Tanki. It was a fake site that simply was harvesting login information. This harvesting of information may be for other more serious reasons. If you use the same login name and password on other sites, they now have access to that as well. Very true. I didn't mean it was exactly like the one in the game. But it is very similar. smokey is real thunder is real firebird is real shaft is kind of real (tanks do have scopes) freeze is fake (there is some research been done that uses lasers to cause flash freezing) isdia is fake (unless you look at it as a medic. However there are EMP type weapons and teasers) rico is fake (but there is such a thing as ricochet firing >> link << ) twins is fake (unless you think of it as a machine gun, but then the damage is too high) rail is real and fake (a rail gun it is not a practical weapon, but is real, and still in development. I don't think one has ever been mounted on a tank)

Too funny. It makes sense for them to choose "Team" battles because there is only half, and most times less, the number of people shooting at them. It is time to take back our games from these people that ruin them. The best way to stop multers is, for both teams to not allow that kind of activity. They are cowards anyway, so harass them enough they will leave. Don't let them grab all the crystal boxes, and gold boxes. If there is a mult or saboteur on the enemies team kill them, and keep killing them, till they leave. By the way you can get a ban for not killing mults and saboteurs that are helping your team. All 4 of these players got banned. I was in a long game 2 days ago and a guy comes in and asks "gold yet?". I told him "No, and your not getting it anyway. You haven't earned the right in this game." I was using shaft and as soon as the gold box dropped he went after it. I waited till he was right at it then shot him. I told him "I told you, you would not get it." He didn't like it very much, swore at me and left. LOL I gave up my chance to get it just to stop him. I really hate people that do what he did. Everyone fought hard to get to the point of a gold box drop. What gives him the right to come in and take it, with out helping his team. I do the same thing to people that are just in battles to grab crystals. Even tough it is better for my team if I leave them alone. It isn't right to join a team if your not going to help them.
