    [Issue 35] You've Missed a Gold!

    All the time we hear articles and guides about how to get golds, where they drop and we see tankers catching them; but life isn’t always like that and you don’t always catch it. So, due to the fact that the majority of the time you won’t get the gold, I have decided to write this article on what to do if you’ve missed a gold. So, the gold has just dropped and unluckily you’ve missed it. This happens on average 20x as much as a player actually catching a gold. There are various things you can do but they all depend on the battle type and your team’s situation. Rage Quit: The only generic thing you can do is to rage quit. Sometimes, you can be so close to a gold, almost touching it, but then you die or miss it. You feel so angry and upset that you can’t bear to look at the tanker who got it, so you leave the battle. Ok, so that was a little over-dramatic, but many players will leave the battle after a gold has dropped. Especially fly-hackers if they’ve got it… Hmmm… This can be a good idea if your team is losing badly as there probably isn’t much left for you in that battle. However, if you leave for the sole reason that a gold has dropped then you’re probably putting yourself at a disadvantage. From what we know, it doesn’t matter when the last gold box dropped; another could drop at any moment. It’s only a 1/7000 chance! So, perhaps don’t rage quit, stay in the battle; but what do you do then? Kill some people: If you are playing in a DM then it is as you were. Generally there is a bit of a pile up during a gold box, which can make for some easy kills. Perhaps try to stack up two or three once the gold box has dropped to give yourself and advantage over your respawning enemies. If you haven’t survived, then try returning to where the gold box dropped. It is doubtless to say that any ‘left over’ tanks will have very low health, which once again makes for easy kills. After the hubbub of a gold box has died down, you can continue to play as normal until, if you’re lucky, another one drops! Capture the Point: This is obviously a technique reserved only for CP mode. Once a gold has dropped, the likelihood is that most of the points are unmanned. It will be easy, with perhaps a little bit of support, to take a number of the enemy controlled points over and so increase your team’s (and your own) score. Staying behind in the pile up isn’t really going to do you much good. If you died during the gold box, perhaps try to get to a nearby point instead of one in the heart of the enemy base (if possible). In certain maps, like Polygon, as there is only one point that is immediately where you should go after a gold has dropped, else you will be of little help to your teammates. Return/Capture the Flag: Needless to say what mode this is for, you have two options once a gold box has dropped. If an enemy has taken your flag, and is trying to capture whilst everyone is off gold hunting, then the best idea is to stop them before they get to their own base. However, if there is no threat to your flag, then you have an opportunity to take the enemy’s flag. As your opponents are all busy respawning, you will have little competition whilst you grab it, but be careful, enemy tankers who survived the gold box will be able to kill you as you escape. If you are unlucky enough to die during the gold box, the best thing to do is probably stay in your base for a little while. This allows you to defend against potential enemy attacks for a little bit from players who have survived the gold box. Then, you can continue to play as you did previously. Gain some ground: This applies to CTF, TDM and certain CPs. Once the gold box has dropped, if you don’t need to capture a flag then you can take a solid position in order to keep enemies at bay. This may sometimes involve killing a couple of enemies but you can also move yourself into a better position while everyone is respawning. For example, in Rio, a Shaft could move from the top of the map, after having missed the gold, to an advanced position on the raised flank. This allows them to, at first, gain an unopposed, strong position from which they can get kills and cover teammates. As you have a better position, you are then more likely to go on and win the battle. Change position: In a DM, there are certain places on the map that suit certain combinations (for example the good spot for long range guns at the top of the highest ramp in Polygon). If a drugging enemy has been taking up the best spot for a lot of the battle, now is your chance to try and take it over. There is a high chance that the tanker in question has left his spot and is currently not occupying it; therefore, you can sneak in and take the position, at least until he comes back! Taking this good position can subsequently improve your chances of winning the battle and getting a little extra fund than you would have originally got. Change Equipment: This isn’t strictly a tactic, but after a gold box has dropped, it may be a good time to use a different combination. As everyone else in the battle is respawning, you will have time to enter your garage and equip a new turret, hull or paint. Therefore, you won’t miss out on as much of the action and can even try a new playing style. Obviously I don’t encourage you to miss golds to try these techniques out. Play as normal, go for golds as normal, but if you miss it, which statistically speaking you probably will, make sure you know what you are going to do afterwards. Good luck in the battlefield!

    [Issue 35] Mastering a New Map

    With the number of maps on Tanki, you may find that you haven’t actually tried out a couple of them. This may be because they appear to be unpopular amongst other tankers. Despite this, you check it out, and, oh dear, you get lost very quickly. You find that your combination is ineffective, and you just can’t seem to do that well. As well as this, the developers bring out new maps from time to time which no one will know the lay of the land. In this article, I will try to help you to unravel and master a new map . Every time we enter a new map, what is the first thing we do? We check it out. We get our bearings and survey all areas of the map. Then, we play. Practice is arguably the best way to learn your way around a map. I recently joined a Gubakha battle for the first time. I lost, badly. It took me a good while to find my way around the map despite its size, let alone find the enemy flag. This highlighted to me that I really need to know the way around a map in order to succeed in battles. In Tanki, the larger the map, the more route choices you have. There are numerous routes which can be used to enter the base, exit it, escape with the flag or hide from enemies. These can be effectively used to a player’s advantage in order to beat enemies. So, what do you need to do in order to utilize this advantage? Learn the map. Doing a ‘round trip’ of a map in a private battle can help you to learn the way around it without the threat of other players killing you before you reach certain parts of the map. Let me take you back to the unveiling of Rio. It was a new, exciting map that promised a great skyscraper and great gameplay! The servers were full of Rio battles, everyone wanting to get a slice of the action. You enter a Rio CTF and find yourself spawning next to the flag. Now what do you do? Unfortunately, the only thing you can do in most new maps is drive around aimlessly at first. At least, that is what it looks like to others. In fact, you are checking out the map. Find the enemy base, suss out routes to and from it and find good spots to attack or defend from. All this helps you to begin to learn the map. After experiencing the map, you should get a good feel for its layout and the best ways to play in it. But what to do next? Once you think you know the way around the map, you need to find the best way for you to play in it. Effective use of your equipment is what leads to ultimately winning battles. You will probably need to test out a variety of different equipment before finding the best combination. If we go back to the Rio scenario, certain hulls work best in certain ways. Mammoth and Titan are good in defense. Hornet and Wasp work well attacking through the center or with speedy escapes along the top of the map. Viking and Hunter are good along the more open flanks of the map, including with the sniping spots higher up. The same can be said for turrets. If you are going to use Shaft, you should probably use the raised flank. Railgun can work well along the top or the sides of the map due to its longer range. Freeze, Fire and Isida need a smaller area and so are effective down the centre of the map being able to get into the enemies base easily. It will take a while for you to discover which combinations work well in which areas of the map, (unless of course it is written down somewhere!) It will take time and persistent trialling in order to find what works best for you. Over time, you will master the gameplay in a map and which combination you use may not matter. Obviously, there is more to a map than just playing it. You thought I was about to talk about parkour weren’t you? I’ll get into that later, don’t you worry! No. In fact I was talking about events in maps. New maps mean new opportunities. New ways to rank up, cooler ways to rank up. Rio brought to us the long sandy beach, which is great for group photos. And then of course we have the brilliant community Facebook events. The ultimate exploration of a map is fully encouraged by the mine hunts. The organizers intricately place mines in obscure, very hard to reach areas around the map. All you have to do is find them. With a new map will come new places to lay mines so another unique round of this popular game. Just be quick, the battles fill up very fast! Finally, we have parkour. Rio and Skyscrapers are a prime example of maps made with a great opportunity for parkour along with an awesome contest too. A new map could bring new heights, newer platforms, harder-to-reach areas and cooler tricks. If you’re bored of playing in a map and have some friends handy, then why not try out a couple of tricks, or try to land on a building or two? There are simple and well-known tricks like a dictator and a mine which can be used to reach simple buildings. Or perhaps the four twins trick perfected by the ToT parkour team which allows you to reach better heights in a unique way. The ideas are almost endless as to what you can do. So now, the next time a map comes out make sure you explore it thoroughly, learning its layout and the best way for you to play it. Only then can you make the best use of the gameplay, the scenery and the parkour!

    [Issue 35] Everything to do with... Protection!

    Protection is the garage stat we rely on most apart from damage. Without protection, we would all be sitting ducks and one-shot kills, certainly a leap away from the diverse game we love today! So, in this article, I’m going to tell you the different ways protection crops up in the game and how you can make the most of it. Protection, which can be seen as your health points, is what allows you to survive an enemy’s shot. It is one of the most basic elements of the game, much like damage. There are several ways in which protection appears in the game: Survival: If you have low health points, you will die. Simple enough, eh? Having enough protection to survive an enemy’s attack is vital to being able to destroy that enemy and then move on in the battle. The larger the protection you have, the more chance you have of defeating enemies. However, this doesn’t mean that when you have a heavy hull you should immediately go and capture the flag because you might survive. You need to know how to take the least damage, which tanks to destroy first and which enemies you can leave for a while. This is obviously dependent on paints and other factors like reload; but perhaps I’ll talk about that another time. Micro-upgrades: Protection is the first garage statistic for every hull and is generally seen as the first one tankers micro-upgrade. It offers tankers of lower ranks the ability to match the protection of higher modifications (if they have the crystals!) One can also gain an advantage over similar modified opponents due to the small protection advantage. Having crystals left in the bank to micro-upgrade equipment is always a good idea as it can give you that little edge over an enemy. Supply: Supplies are an element of the game which have always added some diversity. Love them or hate them, the game definitely wouldn’t be the same without them. The protection supply allows a player to, at any moment, give themselves extra protection for a limited period in the battle. Whether this be through a drop or a supply, it can significantly boost a player’s chances of surviving a skirmish. However, you must ensure to use it at the correct time during battles. If you equip before your actually fighting, you will be wasting the supply, and although this can’t be helped in most DMs, you could lure a player towards the box before grabbing it yourself. Optimising the time you have with the protection supply on means that you increase your chances of surviving for longer. Gold Boxes: The majority of gold boxes that drop inevitably end up with a huge pile of tankers where shots are being fired left, right and centre. In order to get the gold, it definitely helps to not die before you can catch it. Having sufficient protection means that you are less likely to die when the gold box is dropping and so have more chance of catching it. So, once you are sure that you have enough protection to survive the flurry of shots dealt , you can focus on using your gold-hunting skills to catch a nice 1,000 crystals. Parkour: Although protection during parkour has almost been made redundant due to Parkour mode, protection can still play a key role in larger stunts. For the Rio skyscraper competition, the winning entries involved a very large number of tankers. This meant that supporting Shafts and Railguns would have to deal damage to the main parkourist. Without reasonable protection, the parkourist would have been killed pretty quickly, but through the use of micro-upgrades and protection paints, he was able to survive and complete the spectacular feat! Paints: Talking of protection paints, this could be seen as another protection appears in the game. Paints offer us, as we know, that little extra protection against certain hulls. Whether this be the 10% for the most basic paints like Marine and Magma to the large protections of paints such as Lumberjack and Africa. With paints equipped, tankers can make sure they have a better chance of surviving attacks against certain turrets. This also gives tankers the opportunity to personalise how they protect themselves. In a battle with a lot of Freezes and Firebirds? Try Inferno. Got a couple of Railguns irritating you? Prodigi will do the trick. You can decide what to protect against depending on the other turrets around you; and with equipment change in battles, it is even easier to keep up with the conditions on the battlefield. Disadvantages: This may sound weird to many tankers, but sometimes the protection on your hull can be annoying. How many of us have been in that situation when a gold box is dropping where we have half health and unable to utilise a health supply. If there are no self-destructing zones, you will either have to wait the ten seconds (decreasing your chances of getting the gold) or get someone to kill you. However, the more protection you have, the longer it may take for you to get killed by an enemy; and by the time you respawn, you’ve almost certainly missed the gold box. Furthermore, all garage statistics provoke a compromise. In the case of protection on hulls, it is a balance between having lots of health, or a quick hull. If you do choose protection, you will have to remember that it will be considerably tougher to get away with the flag, and you become less mobile (and so effective) when using turrets like Freeze and Firebird. However, if you are happy being a defender, then it is a sacrifice you are probably willing to make! So tankers, when it comes to choosing a new hull to buy or equip, cast a thought to its protection and how it may or may not suit your playing style. Note the compromise but also be aware of the great benefits a heavy hull can bring!

    [Issue 36] Everything to do with... Damage!

    Damage, the baseplate of Tanki. It is the most basic part of the game; the ability to deal damage and to have damage dealt. In this article, I will try to show you the different ways damage is used and can be used in the game. Damage is absolutely essential to the game; it makes Tanki what it is today. Without damage, we would essentially just have a game of parkour and racing, completely different to the action-packed fighting game we know and love today. Damage is certainly not taken for granted among tankers. It is the first statistic most tankers will micro-upgrade on a turret and normally the second thing tankers will use in the game (behind speed and sometimes protection). Destroying a Tank: This is the most obvious thing damage does in the game, it damages tankers. There is no need for me to give a lecture on how to kill other tanks because that is the most basic thing you must do in the game in order to succeed. Damage is the deducting of health from the health bar of a tanker, leading to them having 0 HP and so being destroyed. This is the basic framework of the coding of the destroying of a tank. The Opposite of Damage: So it isn’t really damage, but what I am basically talking about here is healing. This happens in two forms in Tanki; the first of these is by an Isida. Isidas have the ability to reverse the damage done by an enemy tanker. This generally comes at a cost of the actual damage statistic of the Isida, yet it is still used due to its self-healing abilities and extra method of earning XP. The other way of ‘reversing damage’ is a health supply. This is an automatic method of renewing health and allows more damage to be taken. The interesting thing to do with health supplies is that if you are taking damage while being healed, the game will take this into account and continue to heal you, which can make for frustrated Railguns as they have such a long reload time. Damage without Shooting: Only one turret has an additional stat concerning damage: Firebird. Firebird’s after-burn enables it to continue to damage an opponent without having to actually be shooting it. This advantage can be used in several ways. One way is that you can move onto shooting another enemy in order to get multiple kills, therefore increasing your XP intake. Also, after-burn can allow you to reload. The enemy will still be taking damage whilst you give yourself time to reload and then fire at them again. Wounding Enemies: Note that this is different to destroying an enemy. In XP, it can be especially useful to take one hit off of an enemy and then allow yourself to be destroyed. This means that the enemy can be killed in one swift shot, giving you time while they respawn to get and capture the enemy flag. This technique is less effective in DM however; as the likelihood is that someone else will just come along and steal your kill! Another little trick in larger XP battles is to only take one shot off of an enemy. If you have M3 Rail and fire a well-aimed shot, you will take a large proportion of an enemy’s health away. If you went on to finish them off, you would gain 10xp. However, if you were to let a teammate destroy them, then you could get between around 12-14xp! So sometimes it isn’t best to finish the job yourself! Self-Destructing: You may not see it this way, but self-destructing is like a lot (or sometimes a little bit) of damage all in one go. Self-destructing leads to you being destroyed (hence the name). Therefore, you have essentially lost all the health points you had in a very short space of time; making self-destructing have the largest damage statistic! Self-destructing can be seen as useful as well though. If you’re tipped then there is very little chance of you becoming upright again and so it is probably better for you to self-destruct. Also, if you have low health when a gold box is dropping, you have more chance of getting it if you self-destruct and then respawn into the battle. Disadvantages of Damage: Obviously, the first disadvantage we all think of when it comes to the damage statistic is that our own tanks get damaged. However, this is kind of inevitable for a tank game so we will just have to grit our teeth and bear through it. What is irritating about damage is the self-destructing damage produced from our own turrets. Thunder and Ricochet are the two culprits of this and it can make the just that little trickier to manage. The basics are that if you are hit with your own splash damage from a Thunder shot or your own plasma ball from Ricochet, you will take damage. But obviously, I don’t need to tell you this because most of us found that out for ourselves early on in our careers. Furthermore, the higher the damage of a turret, the longer its reload. A compromise will have to be made if you want good damage on a turret, but if you can master it, then it shouldn’t matter to you much. So now tankers, you know how damage crops up in the game, how to use it (which you probably should already know!) and a couple of little tricks to ensure you use features of damage as effectively as possible.

    Read Part I Here Read Part II Here The Launch Neither Ryan nor Jack had decided to spend any of their money yet. They had stayed in the Hotel Garabitz, the shabby two star hotel that Jack had researched on the laptop. They were both sitting along with a crowd of other people in the hotel lounge. They were all staring at the TV in the corner. Today was the day of the missile launch to try and obliterate the meteorite. Tomorrow, if the launch failed, the world will be destroyed. The image changed into a tough looking American General who had the fate of the world resting on his shoulders. He knew that if the launch missed, his head would be wanted when the world got destroyed, yet again, there wouldn’t be anyone one left to take it from him. In the control box, there were all kinds of apparatus like buttons and dials to control the rocket. The General had a difficult job to get the correct propulsion so the rocket didn’t just drift off course in space, but he had scientists to sort that out for him. The countdown began and the General was sweating. Once the screen had reached one, he pressed the launch button. The missiles soared up into the sky with amazing speed. The whole world was down on its knees begging to this missile to destroy the meteorite. One screen in the control box charted the missiles progress. It was still on course and the general stopped sweating a little. Eventually, the missile neared the meteorite. 10km, 9km, 8km,7km, the missile neared its target, 6km, 5km, 4km, 3km, the missile was going to hit the meteorite, Earth would be saved and the General would be a global hero, 2km, 1km. Nothing, no noise on the screen and no massive explosions of life-saving destruction. The missile’s course was still being plotted on the chart and it was still saying that it was moving. Then in came the first readings: -1km, -2km. The general was shocked. The missile hadn’t gone off. A man, in a white coat and thin-rimmed glasses, ran into the control room hyperventilating. He had a message from the ground staff. He said: “You’re going to need to detonate the missile manually, using that red button there” He pointed at an unlabelled red button, “What’s wrong? Come on, we can still save the world, there’s time. Isn’t there?” His last question trailed off a little. Calmly, the general replied, “No, the ground staff sent you up how long ago? A minute perhaps, you saw the launch didn’t you? The missile was going to take less than a minute to reach the meteorite and no-one thought of radioing me? The missile been and gone past the meteorite you *****. Now everyone is going to want to kill me, aren’t they?” The scientist stared at the General, realising what had just happened. The General fumbled for his gun but he didn’t aim it at the messenger. Quickly, TV crews switched off the feed. The world had been resting on his shoulders, and he had got it wrong. The world wanted him dead and he couldn’t live with the thought of everyone hating him. All he wanted to do was spend more time with his family. He aimed the gun at his temple and, quivering, he pulled the trigger. He knew it would be better that way. The messenger looked on, his face going sheet white. He grabbed the missile controls and tried in vain to turn the missile around. He knew by now that there was no chance of the meteorite being destroyed. There was protocol if this happened. The scientist, to make sure that the missile didn’t cause any more trouble, pressed the large, unlabelled red button. The Earth was doomed. No Hope After the world discovered that the missile launch had failed, riots everywhere kicked off. Everyone wanted to have everything they had ever dreamed of, so shops were raided and buildings destroyed. Due to safety regulations, the Great Pyramid had to be closed. This seemed like a sensible idea, but it had ruined Ryan’s plan. Now there was no hope of Ryan getting to the top of the Great Pyramid and being able to deflect the meteorite. Even he couldn’t do anything anymore. Jack was lying on his bed, he was thinking about death and how it plagued everybody’s lives, especially his. The morning his mother had died, he was in school. The head teacher gravely asked Jack to come into his office and that was when he had found out he was alone. But there was another thing he never quite understood and he knew Ryan didn’t understand it either. It was about the incident. The incident in which both their father’s had died. However, with a meteorite about to hit Earth, it seemed irrelevant. Jack felt irrelevant. There was nothing he could do about it. The world would be wiped out, billions dead and a boy from Birmingham was there only hope. “What a thought”, he said, smirking. Tornado There was a crowd of at least 1,000 people outside the Pyramids. It was the day of the meteorite crashing into Earth. There was no way into or onto the Pyramids, you could only see the speck in the sky moving closer and closer towards you. There were five hours left. Ryan had to make his move soon. He couldn’t repel the meteorite from where he was standing because the gravitational force would destroy him before he had the chance to, not only that but a large amount of people standing around him would probably be killed as well. He would have to get on top of the Pyramid, but he could see no way to do so. Four hours left. The intense heat could be felt by all. It was burning Ryan’s neck. He was tempted to just make it rain but he knew that that would only jeopardise his chances of deflecting the meteorite. Three hours left. Jack was so nervous, he knew it would take around an hour to climb onto the top of the Pyramid and they certainly wouldn’t have that amount of time if they carried on staying at the base of the Pyramid. And then there was the fact that people would be trying to get them off the Pyramid. Two hours left. Another rumble because of the gravitational force of the meteorite. Soon it would be impossible to scale the Pyramid. Ryan was ready to go. He grabbed Jack’s shirt and pulled him through the crowd with him. The air was stuffy but they carried on. Ryan kicked the first policeman and burst towards the Pyramid. This was his only chance. Suddenly there was a spurt of gunfire as the policemen took aim and tried to shoot this rebel off the face of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Let’s just say, they were very protective of a doomed landmark. Ryan had realised he would have to use his power to protect him and Jack as they scaled the Great Pyramid of Giza. He created a whirlpool around them so the bullets would be drowned. The crowd gasped in awe at the miraculous sight. Now the police stopped firing, it had become pointless. So they just stood, watching, like toy figurines, unable to believe the whirlpool Ryan had created. One hour left. Ryan and Jack were nearly at the top of the Pyramid and by now the policemen had stopped shooting like the taxmen had stopped annoying Jack because they knew it was pointless. Ryan couldn’t drop his guard though because they might start up again. They reached the top and Jack knew that Ryan would have to get rid of the whirlpool to focus all his efforts on the meteorite. The platform at the top of the Great Pyramid of Giza was unstable with all of the jolty movements of the ground underneath. Finally, Ryan let the whirlpool go and it splashed down the side of the Pyramid. The policemen, as a precaution, picked up their guns again and were ready to fire. Suddenly, Ryan’s power kicked in and the ground shook even more violently than before. He had decided that a tornado was the best weather for the job. Scientists charting the meteorite’s movements were amazed to see a sudden decrease in the speed of the meteorite as it was beginning to almost halt. Jack could see the grimace on Ryan’s face. Finally the meteorite stopped and drifted for a few seconds in space. “Stand by all men.” The UN didn’t care about what the boy was doing; they wanted him off the Pyramid. Ahmed was a trainee policeman; he guessed he would never graduate. He hadn’t been taught to handle a gun and it quivered in his hands. Three gunshots. Ahmed dropped his warm gun. He was terrified; he had let off three shots by accident. One missed completely; by this point the meteorite was travelling back into space. The second missed Ryan and struck Jack in the back. He fell and slid down the side of the Pyramid, landing at the feet of a policeman. He was still alive though. The third, however, reached its target and Ryan was hit in the leg. He cried out in pain but kept his control on the meteorite. With a final push, he tried to move the meteorite far enough away to keep Earth safe. It was speeding away from earth and moving out of the galaxy. Earth was safe but Ryan wasn’t. He let the tornado go and he sat down. The shots from Ahmed had alerted another trainee who began to aim at Ryan. She took a shot, thinking that she had perhaps missed orders. She didn’t see a colleague trying to stop her. She fired. The shot hit Ryan in the head. It was all over. After Michael was walking through his favourite park in Colchester. It may lead to a graveyard but he didn’t mind, death didn’t worry anyone after the meteorite. Ten minutes later he was by the old church. There were two quite recent graves there. He read the inscriptions: Ryan Archie Johnson Died 28th March 2015 Saving the world We are forever indebted Jack Miles Allson Died 30th March 2015 Helping Ryan R.I.P Michael knew about these two people. They had both been awarded the Victoria Cross after they had died. Ryan was killed instantly after being shot in the head while two days later Jack died in hospital. Ahmed was convicted of manslaughter along with the female policeman. They both got five years. The world was back to normal now.     Round the corner, over the bridge, Up the ramp, past the wall, Through the tunnel, round the corner, There, there, the prize. Protect myself from enemy fire, Take shot, kill a man, Take damage, hit but not dead, But still towards the prize. Up the slope, past a tank, Poor fellow flipped, he won’t survive, But now, what’s this? Enemy tank, Boom, boom, was so close to the prize. Again I go, unto the breach, Zipping with speed, over the top, Take a shot, one’s down, more come Hide, hide, then go for the prize. Out I peep, slowly, slowly, No enemies around, out I creep, Up the slope, round the bend, There, there, the prize. I grab, I go, I run, they hunt, Behind me getting ever closer, No hope now, they take a shot, Losing, losing the prize. But then, jumping from above, A fellow teammate takes the prize, I spawn, he moves from sight, Yet still he has the prize. Back to the fight I run, Before me, my friend, he has the prize, He’s shot, he’s down, I take it up, Once again I have the prize. The chase, I run, hear tracks behind, Round the corner, too quick, I slide, Move forwards again, they’re still there, I’ve almost won the prize. Into our base, I run, Past the wall, I run, Onto our flag, I run, I’ve finally won the prize. Battle ends, I’m the hero, Collecting my part of the fund, I exit, find another, enter, Once again, I shall win the prize.
