I will buy Smoky and Rock. Should I get one of the following turrets or spend it on MUs? Turrets in order of interest: - Isida - Hammer - Freeze

What are your thoughts on m3 Rail and Shaft in regular battles? I don't have a long range turret, and play on medium to large maps.

Buy m2 rail-hornet if you want to play in xp battles. Otherwise get fire m2. I strongly suggest getting a medium hull for it, preferably hunter or viking. :)

Twins is surprisingly good in almost any map. You need a faster hull (I use Vik), and need to practice leading shots on people. Viking is just awesome. Hunter is statistically better, but I hate the drifting. Having an Isida on a team is almost a must. Its got some OP qualities, but I don't know if it'll fit your playstyle. Get Twins for sure. If you can, get Viking too. Otherwise spend the rest on MUs

Freeze is still a good defensive weapon. Its power is underrated.

I don't think the early kits are that great. What I did was I saved over 90k crystals since Recruit, and purchased the Stinger kit (Isida m2, Hornet m2, Fracture). By me doing so, I earned a lot of XP and crystals for future purchases. I recommend saving your crystals for a m2 kit if you really want one, or buy something like Fire m1 and Viking m1, since they are very good in those ranks.

An update: I will scrap Hammer, since its not my play style, and it's pretty bad in my opinion in Poly CP due to the number of heavier hulls. I will instead get Isida, since it has great damage and healing output, and I've seen countless battles go into the favor of a team purely because of the fact that they have an Isida. (And it's cheaper to buy and MU). So I will get Smoky, Isida, and a paint. I have narrowed it down to between Taiga and Rock, but the responses from numerous people have been basically even between the two of them... However, I'm leaning a little towards Rock.

Ok I'll go for Smoky and Hammer, but I'm iffy with the paints. Hammer and Smoky will be a lot of fun with Wasp, should I get it instead of a paint?

I'm not a fan of MUing this early. I've been flying through the ranks with premium, and I'd like to focus more on expansion. Yes, Vulcan is OP, but I haven't been a HUGE fan of it lately. (I have it m2). Rock is a good choice, guess I'll go with it. I want Smoky and Wasp badly. I may get Hammer too if I earn enough in a week. I've always had the idea of getting the prometheus, redneck or eyja kit instead, but I hate the hulls that it comes with...
