Actually, I'd recommend you get freeze m4. Firebird is somewhat similar to thunder in function. Both are made to cause a lot of damage. Freeze would increase the diversity of your garage. Let's say you are in a CTF and you start losing. Firebird and thunder will not be very helpful in such a scenario. On the other hand, freeze can potentially save your team from defeat.

3k appears to be very little, but considering the fact that wasp m1 costs 14k, it is a huge percentage of the original price (around 21%). 21% of hornet m2's original price would be nearly 15k. That would add up to approximately 12 steps and 13.1 HP. Hornet's health would now be 151.6, 2 more HP than wasp m3's original health. Edit-Oh, and one more thing. Even if you add the 15k spent on micro upgrades to hornet m2's cost, it will cost less than wasp m2.

You've got a point there. A lot of combos are overused. It does get boring seeing the same combos all the time.

You can't really say that one particular turret/hull is better than the other. They are all balanced and are useful in different areas. It all depends on which tank you have the most fun with.

Same goes for hornet m2. If you apply the same logic, you can't say that wasp m2 is better than hornet m2.

Go for freeze! Isida is good, but I find it a bit boring. Freeze is very versatile. It is good at attacking and assists, and is the best at defending. With a few micro upgrades, it becomes really powerful. I still use it a lot. As for looks, I personally find freeze better looking than isida. But, then and again, that's a matter of opinion. Anyway, don't choose a turret based on it's looks. Choose the turret which you have more fun with. I would get thunder m2 first. Thunder is more versatile than railgun and you can use it in a lot of maps and in every game mode effectively. You wouldn't get bored of it fast. It will also be easier and faster to earn crystals with thunder for railgun than with railgun for thunder due to Thunder's splash damage, which is effective at gaining a lot of kills very fast.
