None of them are better as such. It depends on your preference. I've encountered the first situation which you've described in the main post a lot of times. And trust me, as long as I'm not weakened and I have space to circle the tank, the firebird always dies. The after-burn received from the firebird by one second of contact isn't enough to destroy a tank. Firebird and freeze have different effects. Freeze is more about stealth attacks while firebird is about causing a huge amount of damage to enemy tanks.

It's worth it for me. Thunders are way too annoying. I'll MU the last steps only on discounts, of course.

True, but DP won't work after I fully MU it to 48%. And my freeze/hornet always beats them fire/wasps (and hornets for that matter).

Kits aren't worth it... Even with the discount, it's cheaper to buy the items separately as the developers have set the discounts of turrets and hulls on different days. However, if the discount were better, I would get the firewall kit

My favorite is freeze m2 + hornet m2 + python/tundra. I also like my railgun m2 and shaft m2.

Gonna try to get rustle or firebird m2 or ricochet m2 (haven't decided which one yet). If I'm unable to get enough crystals, I'll get spark.

My hornet hasn't been flipping as much as I expected. Actually, it hasn't flipped by another tank's shot even once. Either I've been lucky or it doesn't flip as much as it is exaggerated to be. It's probably a different case in XP battles, though.

Another unnecessary update...

Somehow, chrome works the best for me. Firefox takes a lot of time to load and the stand alone flash player is also slow for me. It might be because I use the windows 8 app for chrome, though.
