True, but still not the most important one: It 's in the interest of both Tanki and the players that Tanki Unity becomes a success. It 's up to Tanki in my view to make this happen as soon as possible. To be clear: the still unanswered question about account transfer should be answered soon and in a way that it is positive for both parties. TO 's economy shouldn 't suffer for logical reasons, on the other hand there must be a satisfactory solution for us players who worked hard for our account(s): buyers and non-buyers alike. In this way we will have a quick transfer of most of our community to TO Unity. This will more or less automatically lead to the end of Tanki Flash. Somehow sad but things change and Adobe 's Flash has become a dead end Though I love the many good parts of the old TO Flash it 's a fact that TO Unity has the future. Granted TO Unity will have it 's own problems, like the loss of all browser support in the coming years but I believe most of us will be using TO Unity as a standalone client very soon. It will mean less lag and all those other issues that occur when playing through a browser. We 've all been there with some kind of an error... A standalone client will improve our gaming experience, which is in everybody 's interest. Some players would like to stick to Tanki Flash, I do understand that and TO holds up the illussion that this will be the case. So that we can have two healthy TO versions at the same time. Personally I don 't believe this for one minute. Some will say: why not, there are other game with more versions like Counterstrike. Well, we don 't have the same large pool of players and you need certain numbers to keep a game going. All energy and effort will soon be going to TO Unity and though TO Flash will keep support as TO claims, even updates, it 's not at all in their interest to keep these two seperate games going. Not in our interest either if Tanki finds the right solution for the account transfer I believe. If they don 't, we will indeed have two seperate TO 's, because many (long-time) players will stay in TO Flash if their account becomes worthless in TO Unity and IMO two TO 's will eventually mean the end of both and consequently Alternativa Company. We 're just not big enough to have two. Two seperate games means two seperate communities: less battles to choose from, maybe still doable in peak hours, but what about the more quit times on the servers due to the timezones? They will need a large TO staff to keep two completely different running games going, which simply means more servers, more personel and salary that all has to be paid. Which is good for employment, but in nowadays very competetive economy sadly not good for most companies. No, we have to say goodbye to TO Flash as soon as possible IMO when the new TO Unity is running smoothly. Hopefully with good marketing from TO and us players being enthusiastic about TO Unity (if it 's good ofcourse, but I believe it wil be: we will need some time to get accustomed to it, different looks etc. but that 's normal) and spreading that news that "there 's a (shiny) new kid in town" there 's not a lot to keep TO Unity from becoming a huge success! It 's completely up to you Tanki: which path will you choose?

Yup, it 's counterpart Firebird wipes the floor with Freeze. The latter one keeps on keeping it 's OP state, Freeze just getting nerf after nerf. Don 't get me wrong: I "hated" the old OP Freeze which kept you frozen for ages, but the current one is hardly doing anything to stop you in your tracks. "Most powerful combo": that 's probably why you see so many...

^ imitating Godmode_On?? ;)

No one knows. The last years it always was 50%, but that 's no guarantee at all. Btw. good luck with your Hornet and keep moving with it! :)

Episode 57 of the V-LOG talks about the new Tanki

Why we cut down on Mission Rewards? -
Doing fine! Unity WebPlayer plug-in loosing all support from browser Chrome in September this year. It will be completely disabled so no one will be able to use Chrome as a platform for TO Unity afaik. WebGL is not an alternative right now, so the only way Chrome users have to play TO Unity is by using another browser or will Tanki develop a stand-alone client? Do you have a view on this matter?
-
Agreed!
-
True, though I know it 's less worse with a Viking it 's still horror. @Dliver if you read this: you fight with Vulcan, but did you ever fight against Vulcan with a light hull? If so, what 's your opinion?
-
I haven 't played with Thunder M3(M4) anymore for quite some time. Meeting other Thunder players as opponents I believe Thunder is far from OP. Without DP it 's even a bit underpowered IMO. Could be a different story at the ranks you play with though.
-
Only micro-upgrades. Almost all of them will be on Smoky M3. (only if the discount on MU 's won 't get the same treatment as the Mission Rewards already had... <_< )
-
Like the produkt kits themselves, so it 's how it should be I guess :D
-
You got a point here, because Vulcan paints are less common. On my alts Viking it would be a good protection, because I can still move that hull when I 'm under Vulcan fire. On a light hull a Vulcan paint is close to useless, @falcosenna1 your turn! Thank you! ;)

No other words for it: I feel really betrayed and I guess I 'm not the only one. How can you TO go from totally ridicoulous and sky-high rewards we had at first, to lesser rewards which got fixed into the "final" rewards we had for a long time: 50% chance on a crystal reward etc... These were good rewards and if you played some battles were still better as the former Daily Gifts and besides the Missions added more variety in Maps/gamemodes. And than this last sneaky update: ofcourse this one didn 't or doesn 't get communicated to the players, knowing darn well that "Mission Rewards will be better than Daily Gifts!" would turn into a blatant lie. Don 't even enjoy playing at the moment. Only thing I do is finish these noob missions as soon as I can, which is very soon and that 's it. Before I always went into other battles and had fun, now I don 't even care. What 's the deal Tanki, want to force us all into buying? In need of cash? The latter wouldn 't surprise me. It wil take at least half a year before TO Unity is in full swing. A costly long time and to make matters worse: in september this year Chrome will completely ditch the support for the Unity WebPlayer plug-in needed to play Tanki Unity in Chrome. So no one will be able to use the most used browser as a platform for TO Unity. And what about the question what will happen with our accounts with the transfer to Unity? It just keeps on hanging in the air and for Tankers expecting an answer soon: IMO good news would have been told already. And now you even turned a good update that the Missions were into something bad. Maybe it 's the only road Tanki can take now, trying to get more/equal income from the current TO players: but it sure is a tricky one, quite a gamble. Will the players keep enjoying the game?

A lot more discussion about this non-announced update that has lowered the rewards on this topic: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=282506&do=findComment&comment=4953483

Secret updates: if they are not minor techinical ones always seem to be the worst for us players. I guess even the Devs are ashamed themselves when they (have to?) put such updates in the code: ("you do it!....no you!.... no way, this time it 's your turn....) :P Probably they 're hoping the bad updates don 't get noticed. Well, at the Forum they mostly are, but outside the Forum?

Episode 57 of the V-LOG talks about the new Tanki
Lord-of-the-Snipers replied to semyonkirov in VLOG archive
No. You are now playing Tanki Flash which uses Adobe 's Flash player. The new Tanki Unity can not be played on Adobe 's Flash player, instead you will be playing it on Unity which is a dedicated game engine (much more than Flash is) Still the new TO Unity will have many features like Maps etc. from the old Tanki Flash (the one you play now) These features will work basically the same, but with much enhanced graphics made possible by using Unity. So in a nearby future (early next year my guess) you will be able to play two different kinds of Tanki: the old Flash Tanki and the seperate new Unity Tanki. Both will have a lot in common, but the looks will be very different. -
That 's your perspective, here 's mine. I play with Hornet/Smoky and are constantly moving around the battlefield. Doing just fine facing enemy turrets but the only chance I have when facing a Vulcan is to take cover as soon as possible or if I 'm close I better try to circle it. In most cases the best option is to take cover, only possible if the distance to cover is not too huge because than it 's better to make a stand: because I will be wasted in mere seconds anyway if I can 't find cover soon enough. That 's how much damage a Vulcan deals out. Moving under Vulcan fire is already hard enough because the impact force beats you of track and slows you down, so escaping without a lot of damage is virtually impossible made even worse by far too unrealistic firing angles. Best way to fight back is from out of cover, waiting for Vulcan to spin down or heat up and than give it some pay-back. Most Vulcans are mounted on heavier hulls, Viking being the lowest in armour normally, so the combo will already endure quite some damage which in most cases is complemented with a constant stream of supplies: with repair kits being the worst. Do Vulcan and Twins owners get some extra repair kit discount?? These 150 crystals boxes seem to be used by Vulcan players in every battle, even when the fund isn 't by far worth it. I do understand that the heating up is a reason to do so, but facing a completely repaired armour over and over again...sigh... I also had my go with Vulcan (from real OP to normally OP) on the test server and IMO the slow spin-up, spin-down and gyro which makes turning a hard job are handicaps which force you to a certain gameplay. The stream of bullets that have to be fired with giving up cover only adds too that. Ofcourse you can and have to develop skills on a Vulcan, but those are very turret related skills, just like with Shaft and it 's hard to translate them to other turrets. Nothing wrong with that, it just means (thank whoever) that Vulcan only has appeal to a relatively small group. So indeed I see Vulcan is a formidable opponent as you wrote and no way I will deny that. It 's just still too OP and if there are multiple Vulcans I won 't even bother to go in for a fight (or go out). Worst case scenario? Some nooby Isida that doesn 't do (or can do?) anything else than keeping that Vulcan alive. Nope, the amount of skills you may have developed don 't matter a bit when that constant stream of Vulcan fire gets you...
-
At your rank I would go for Thunder M2. Only one rank away and afaik still strong in the ranks you fight with. After Thunder M2 you could go for Thunder M3 or Smoky M2: IMO just take the gun you most like to play with.
