Als er één wapen is waar ik een behoorlijke hekel aan heb ( hou je in, blijf kalm...rustig...) dan is het wel de Vulcan. Hoewel ik heel af en toe wel eens een speler tegenkom, met bijv. een Hornet of Hunter die met skills het maximale uit dit wapen haalt en bewondering afdwingt, is dit toch zelden. De ergste combo 's van de Vulcan zijn die met Titan en Mammoth. Loam, Inferno of Zeus op 50%, healthkit bij de hand en knallen maar: tot ze na de eerste healtkit uiteindelijk exploderen door oververhitting. Gecombineerd met de mogelijkheid om je zowat in elke schiethoek te kunnen raken en met een impact kracht die je het schieten en/of wegrijden haast onmogelijk maakt: is het een geweldig wapen voor die spelers die door velen "noob" worden genoemd. Het mooie is dat naast de oververhitting de enige handicap van dit wapen het draaien van de turret is. Dit gaat voor geen meter namelijk. Wederom ideaal voor diegenen die toch hun turret nooit bewegen! :P Na deze lofzang op de Vulcan ben ik eigenlijk wel benieuwd of er nog meer meningen over dit wapen zijn.

Famous...exactly the reason why so many want to play this combo, instead of trying to find and use a combo that would better suit them.

I don 't believe that it is true, but why would it not be legit to quickly soar through the ranks? According to your post those XP/BP players are getting things easy and they don 't learn proper skills at all. Correct me if I 'm wrong. With other words in your view you have noobs facing you. Why are you not happy with that? Strange. Personally I don 't see a problem with fighting noobs and I don 't even care if "players" power-level through the ranks. Just more easy cannon-fodder in my opinion: as long as you have a decent amount of skilled players to fight against. Question: have you ever played XP/BP? Or do you just presume it is easy.

Clay, a superb paint against three very common mid- to far range weapons. A must have IMO.

Your extremely excaggerating IMO, but I do believe there is some truth in your story. Most players in TO, at least I 'm surely one of them, can 't really fight well with Hornet/Rail in regular battles. The ones that do make high scores are either real pros or constantly sniping (boring) in maps like Desert etc. A huge majority would be much better off picking another combo than Rail with Hornet/Wasp and could/would than be of more use when playing team battles. So maybe XP/BP is indeed the only place where you can have great fun with the Railgun and play ALL roles, either solo or in a team, either defensive or offensive without being outclassed by other combo 's. What 's wrong with that? Besides that I do firmly believe that the Railgun and light hulls are the most difficult equipment to master and that the Tankers who manage to do so are naturally becoming very skilled players. Those skills learned with Rail-Hornet/Wasp: preferably IMO build up in XP/BP, can be easily translated to every other combo TO has to offer. I hope that TO one day will make it also possible too play XP/BP for M1 combo 's. In that case we will have two seperate groups: one group with M1 and M2 's and another group with M2 and M3 's. Another advantage is that M2 's who are not that skilled will be able to compete with M1 's and that those M2 's who are pretty skilled can take up the challenge against M3 's. (maybe this could even be automated) TO offers with XP/BP and a payed Pro Pass, a great opportunity to play all kind of styles with a prefixed combo. Besides that TO offers free regular battles for every other Tanker with any kind of equipment he/she wishes. Good deal I guess.

They always keep the last discount posted on the Forum. Till a new event/update appears. First I thought somebody just did a sloppy job, but I guess they keep it posted to show for a prelonged time that they do give discounts. And doing so maybe to give the message: play the game and check the forum every day?

Storm in een glas water... Het was (hopelijk) eenmalig die contrastletters. Toen ik begon met Tanki is het wel eens weken achter mekaar geweest. Het is nu weer normaal, houden zo... :)

Die bedoel ik. En helaas gebruik ik regelmatig CCleaner (dan heb ik o.a. de illusie dat ik minder game errors krijg) en dan werkt ingelogd blijven niet. Bedankt voor de suggesties! Nee, het zijn echt die contrastletters. Op de een of andere manier schijn ik een soort afwijking te hebben (niet allemaal tegelijk a.u.b... :D ) waardoor ik die letters niet goed herken. De enigste manier om dan in te loggen is door nummers af te luisteren. (net gedaan dus) Als ik me een paar minuten moet ergeren met inloggen dan hoeft het niet meer voor mij. Met die nummerplaatjes was het altijd goed en direct inloggen. Kortom, ik wacht het wel af en tot dan! :)

The one-shot problem could be easily solved by wearing a paint like Tundra with 30% protection. as it was in the former unofficial XP/BP battles. "Another reason is that m1 hornets can not play against likes of hornet m3s and wasps m3s as its slower, weaker, lighter." Correct. That 's the main reason.

Koos, het is een kat met een goed karakter en lui zoals een kat hoort te zijn...hij moest alleen niet alles zo zwart/wit zien. Foto 's van schaars geklede dames op het internet? Hoe vind jij die dan? Ik zoek er al jaren na! :(

Dan was jij eerst dus, goh das jammer! :( Ik zou eerlijk echt niet weten wat ik anders moet verzinnen...maar gelukkig heb ik nog een jaar de tijd! :)

Ik zie nu al met spanning naar jou inzending van volgend jaar uit! :P Was een makkie geweest! Even de grens over, een curryworst van zeker een meter lang achterover werken (nog best lastig in 30 seconden) en op het eind laat je de worstverkoper een bord met de Generalissimo rang erop, langzaam achter je hoofd omhoog komen... (hoe origineel ook! ;) )

I was referring to my own fav. combo Hornet/Smoky. Hunter is a great hull no doubt. At the moment it 's my second fav. hull. And combined with Railgun it could well be a better combo than Hornet/Rail in regular battles: I don 't know because I stopped using Rail completely in regular battles: I only use Rail in Format (XP/BP)

Both light hulls Hornet and Wasp didn 't get more protection. The real strength of light hulls will also never be found in their armour. You got to take full advantage of their superb speed and small shape. Try to get as much cover as possible and avoid being hit: as much as you can possibly achieve. It 's all just a matter of driving those other slower hulls nuts! :D
